Nyello!
I have returned from camp and now I have until late July to practice for actual marching band camp
Today I came 5 minutes late and they were stretching when I got there
So after some intense stretching we were separated into groups to review forwards and backwards marching
I actually got backward marching
Big shocker tbh
After marching the whole flute section went with the flute section leader to learn lateral slides
Let me just say they are the worst thing to ever do
You basically have to twist your upper body while marching and playing an instrument
With the flute it's more difficult because we have to keep the flute straight too
After hellish torture we reviewed forward and backwards marching (to the tempo this time) and then marching while doing a slide
I wanted to die so many times today
At lunch they had sandwiches and those fancy Clausen pickles I really like that my mom almost never buys (I've stopped asking for them) because they're expensive
I also heard that Highschool makes you dead inside but I'm already dead inside so I guess I dont have to worry about that too much
For the rest of the time after lunch the flute section practiced hitting the high notes and then we went to the band room to practice songs
Koto said "say goodbye to your Friday night because there's a football game every week" and then I was like "wait that's only during football season" (Koto said every week and not just during football season) and she looked at me like I was stupid
I'm not stupid
After practicing we went to see a really good marching band called Spirit of Atlanta practice over at the middle school
In the way back from that another friend of mine decided to run and then another friend told me to take someone's Gatorade and run
I was trying to bargain with him
I wanted 10 dollars
I did give it back (he has to pay me later) and now I'm free until actual marching band camp in July

Wowie I actually remembered stuff
This was a long chapter
Time for the camera roll thing that is now a thing I do every life update e chapter thing
