Chapter 36; Loki's punishment
~Erin a.k.a The Glitch POV~
I had to get used to walking again. Not like I dropped on my face with every step but I just had to get used to the whole left leg right leg thing.
Frigga had given me a dress.... yes. I said a dress. I sighed struggling with the skirt getting stuck when I walked. The purple dress from neck line around my shoulders to toe annoyed the heck out of me but I couldn't seem to talk myself out of it. I had gotten sooo weak. Almost tripping over the long dress once again I growled.
My black hair was loose and still a bit damp as it swayed in my face every time I stumbled. Luckily I had been able to grab my phone from my suit. The purple dress had a belt around my middle falling into a V-shape at the front with golden dots at the side I had my phone slit between the belt and dress. Luckily Frigga didn't gave me heels because I would have literally faced the floor at least ten times if she had. I decided to take a break from my struggling long walk to the throne room for the talk to Odin and sat down on the ground against a wall.
Pulling my phone out it started to vibrate. Frowning I looked at it. Un-know number. I clicked it away and put the sound back on. Maybe Ether had put it off. My phone had been in my pocket all the time and now I was happy with the S.H.I.E.L.D automatic recharge system they had thanks to Tony as long as you were in the building. My battery was still alive.
I checked my missed calls. I had thirty zeven missed calls all from the same number. Gosh that person really wanted to talk to me. I feel flattered, on a creeped out way. I also was a bit surprised that I could receive calls here. On the other side, the satellites that send calls and text through must have been somewhere between earth and Asgard seeing they hang in space.
Not feeling like calling back I put my phone back between my dress and belt. Steve and Tony would come today, I felt happy at the thought of them coming too.
'Stop being so.... god damn weak!' I thought facepalming myself.
I sighed. "Really Erin what happened to you girl." I said complaining to myself as I stood up again.
I grabbed the front of the way too long dress and started to run revealing my legs certainly up to my knees at least as I ran through the halls. Better just get this over with. In front of the gain golden doors of the throne room there stood two guards. They nodded and opened the door as if to say 'he expects you.'
I dropped the bundle of purple dress and tried not to fall over it as I walked in the room. I may be bad with this dress walking but I was never going to show that. Certainly not to a guy with which I already didn't have such a great bond.
High up his throne sat Odin looking at how I walked in. If only he knew how hard I was kicking this dress to be able to walk normally. This room being as big ass as it was didn't really help either making the walk towards him even longer.
"Is it normal with the mortals to leave the king awaiting when he asked for you?" He asked obviously annoyed with me.
"Well, it already wouldn't be normal if the king even asked for you. Especially because where I come from we don't have a king so if he asked for me then yeah I would let him wait because that was probably just a stupid prank." I kind of rambled.
He sat up straight now frowning. "You do not have a king, that is true. Your realm is separated into multiple part with different leaders." He said more to himself then to me.
I decided to just get the dagger out and kill the point of me being here. "So why am I even here? I don't hink it is because you are so immensely attached to me."
Odin gave me a silent glare. "No mortal-" He started but I interrupted him before he could say one more.
"Erin! My name is Erin! Not mortal. If you don't like my name then avoid using is or call me Bane but stop with that mortal!" I said hissing.
'Really! They might not like it but their just as mortal as I am! Okay maybe a little less mortal then me but still mortal!'
"How dare you interrupt me!" Odin yelled now standing up. "I was going to tell you disrespectful human that I considered your opinion about my son Loki and now you treat me like your average Midgarder!" He raged to me.
"Well you aren't really the first and best sweetheart.... wait what? You considered what?" I said only now realizing what he had just said.
He thought about what I had said about Loki's punishment?
"And what came out of that consideration?" I asked cautiously but still curious to know.
"That I am free once again." Loki said stepping out from aside. "Although I do have to work with you and the other Avengers till I am considered changed." He said on an obvious not very thankful but still some what thankful way.
I gave him a fake sweet smile before turning back to Odin. Now I had almost started a fight with the Allfather of the nine realms because I had a considerable short temper. I could hit myself in the face right now for worsening the bond between the two of you for nothing.
A little uncomfortable I bit my lip. "Thanks, I guess." He nodded sitting back on his throne comfortable.
Loki now stood next to me and Odin eyed us remaining silent for a little while. I get the nerves from this guy. Automatically I straightened up standing confident. I noticed Loki wasn't really comfortable either under his father's gaze.
"You look good in Asgardian clothes, Erin." He said.
I blinked a few times. Did he just compliment me? Breaking my guard I stuttered a bit unsure of what to say now.
"Thanks." I just said.
Odin dismissed us and now I walked through the halls with Loki smirking next to me. I wanted to slam that smirk off his face. I was ashamed that 'Thanks' had been all I got out. He just surprised me and that had been very obvious on my face clearly because Loki couldn't stop smirking sins.
"You really do look good in Asgardian clothes Erin." He said smirking as he looked at me.
"I so want to kill you now." I grumbled.
That just made him laugh even more.
"Erin! Ready to go?" Thor yelled from the stables not far away.
That's right. I promised to go horse riding with him when I had my body back. Loki grunted and now it was my turn to smirk at him. Ow he is so coming with us just to annoy him. I grabbed his arm and pulled him with me.
"Ow we are coming! And I am so ready!" Loki was probably a better horse rider then me but I didn't care.
That look on his face when he was together with Thor was worth millions so he was coming with us for sure.
