Chapter 29; Keeping him out
Hey anybody ever thought of writing a story about woman Avengers with Natasha as a guy?
~Erin a.k.a The Glitch POV~
Staring at the golden city with this uninvited feeling pulling at me I forgot the others. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was their mother, the queen.
"You were deep in thought. Is the view of Asgard to your liking Erin?" She asked sweetly.
I smiled before I knew it.
"Yeah. It um, it looks great." I just said pushing the pulling nagging feeling aside.
She smiled and linked our arms while Odin talked to Thor and Loki. Slowly on the other side of the pillars we walked back towards the throne.
"I am Frigga. Thor and Loki's mother. It is nice to have you here Erin." She said to me.
"Uhu. I like it here. Ow and I don't know if you knew but tomorrow somewhere two more friends will come. I guess to guard me. So offensive sometimes, and he doesn't even try to hide it." I complained about Fury.
She laughed softly. "Your friend are welcome Erin. I will tell Odin about them and we will welcome them here in the palace." I nodded smiling a bit.
Then I heard Odin talk. "Loki, your cell has been rebuild and you will be placed back to serve the rest of your punishment." No way that was happening.
Frigga seemed to think the same. I flew over to Thor and Loki before Odin who were still not saying anything.
"I mean come on! He is kinda bad yes, and well sorry Loki, but he did disserve a punishment but he spend his night's with me for a weak so that must be enough right?" Both Frigga and Odin looked at me and Loki with wide eyes.
What did I say wrong? Loki just tried to hide a grin on his face and Thor coughed awkwardly. However he understood what I meant seeing he had been there when they decided that I should guard him every night.
"She guarded him every night in the time he spend imprisoned on Midgard." Thor explained to them.
Oow, now I got it. They thought I... with him...?! Great work Erin. You should think before you talk. dismissing that little mistake Odin talked.
"He is an Asgardian so he will be punished like one."
"That's great and all but what does he learn from being locked away like that? I wouldn't learn a thing. Apart from how to entertain myself with nothing which is not why he is there so it's quite useless. Why don't you make him do good or something? Do something he hates or-" I babbled before Loki interrupted me.
"If this is your way of helping then I don't want it." He said just loud enough for me to hear it.
I sighed. "You want to be locked up again? Well sorry for trying to keep you out of there buddy." I stook out my arms as if to lead him. "He is all yours. Go get your little jail."
He snorted. "That's not what I meant you impudent mortal. Making me do things I hate might be worse then sitting out my time." He hissed.
"Wha?! Is mortal some kind of a swearword here or something? I never got that anyway. I mean mortal means you will die eventually and immortal that you won't. But if I understood it right you guys just live a couple of centuries longer but die too so sorry to break it to ya honey but your a mortal too!" I said words dripping of sarcasm.
"Give or take five thousand years but yes you are close enough. We are no-" Loki started.
"Enough!" Odin yelled.
Thor had just been following the conversation with a smirk on his face. He seemed to think it was quite amusing.
"I will grand you one night and one day freely in this palace. Then I will have decided how to proceed your punishment." Odin said.
I knew he had heart. Somewhere.
"Now all of you, out of my sight." He said slightly annoyed from the bitch fight.
We walked away again. Loki's chains got taken off by a guard that had been standing in the room and he was all free again.
"No need to thank me." I said smirking as we walked through the hallways in the shining sun.
"I was not planning to." Loki said with his hands behind his back and a smile on his face.
"You do owe her one brother. She walks in and within few words you are free to roam Asgard again until tomorrow and maybe even longer." Thor said smiling amused and obviously on my side.
"Thanks Thor. See? He knows how it works." I said contempt with Thor's words and my arms folded.
Loki just laughed a little. "Are you not supposed to be trying to get your body back by now?" He said changing the subject. He was right though.
I was certained I was gonna get lost here though, hens Thor offered me to bring me to the healers which I gladly excepted. Loki said he was going to his room and now it was just Thor and me.
I hang over his shoulder, too lazy to fly. He just walked on like we did this every day.
"Erin? Have you ever ridden a horse?" He asked out of nowhere.
I thought about it with a finger on my chin like a child. "Yeah, once when I was ten I think." I said remembering the little pony from the kids farm where we went once with the orphanage.
His smile broadened. "Then when you have your body back would you like to go ridding?" He offered.
My heart beat sped up. Damn feelings. "Sure. Sounds like fun." I said more enthusiastic then I wanted.
He pushed open a door revealing Ether strapped to a table kind of thing and an empty one next to her. Sublime. Four woman in long dresses looked at me. They must be those healer people.
"Good, that is a deal then." Thor said before shoving me inside towards the woman.
Let's try this.
