"Melody! Melody!" Amy screamed, trying to get to the door while Rory was holding her back. "I have to save her! I have to get her back!"

The Doctor shook his head sadly. "I knew it wouldn't work. River, the grown up River that we know now, she hasn't been rescued, so there's no way we could have succeeded."

I turned to Amy and said, "You never told me what happened, and why Madame Kovarian has your baby."

The girl sighed and told me all about their adventure at Demon's Run. When she was finished, she looked at me and said, "It was my responsibility to keep Melody safe, and I failed. I let Kovarian take her away from me when we were at Demon's Run, and I didn't save her now when we tried to get her back."

"Hey, it's not your fault. How could you have done anything to stop her taking Mels from you? She almost flew out of bed, and what kind of person wakes up that easily from a quiet cry? There is nothing that you could have done to prevent Kovarian from succeeding."

Amy looked at me. "Mels?" she giggled.

"It's short for Melody," I said, "Why are you laughing?"

"Mels was my best friend when I was little who turned out to be my daughter and ended up regenerating into River Song when she got shot by Hitler. She was Melody, but she went by Mels."

"Oh," I started laughing, and Amy and I had a laughing fit where we couldn't stop laughing.

Just then, the Doctor came in and announced, "We're going somewhere fun to try to cheer you up,  Amy."

Rory followed the Time Lord and told him, "You're not supposed to tell her that we're trying to cheer her up. Who knows what she might do?" He glanced at me and Amy, looking scared.

Amy rolled her eyes at her husband and asked, "So where are we going?"

"We don't know! We put the TARDIS to random!" The Doctor exclaimed.

This time I rolled my eyes. I said, "Then how do you know that the place we are going will 'cheer Amy up'?"

The Doctor frowned at me but didn't answer. He just led us to the front doors as the TARDIS landed, and we opened the doors to see...

A/N Another cliffhanger! Not a big one, but still.

This was mostly just a filler chapter. Amy telling Oswin how Melody was taken and Amy expressing how she felt responsible for losing her baby again.
