You open your eyes groggily,last night wasn't the best when it came to sleep,you got up and began to collect up your little mini camp and make your way back to snowdin town

After walking for about 17 minutes you find yourself in front of a small bar called 'chillby's',it was a nice little establishment,flowey advised you not to enter but you ignored him,you were practically starving after all and hadn't eaten since Toriel death pie,seriously it was literally made of monster remains,dust and blood...

You step into the bar,the sound of the door opening alerted all monsters inside who quickly turned their heads to you,all noise in the room ceases and it becomes deadly silent

You notice a flame monster at the bar and decide it's the perfect 'ice breaker' (puns for days 😎)

"Welp,thanks for the warm welcome,hey flame dude,you okay? Ya ain't looking too hot,you know,in snowdin I was hoping my jokes could be a real ice breaker but it seems you've all given me the cold shoulder"

laughter swarms over the room as everyone erupts in a fit of giggles,they then return to their previous conversations,you walk over to the bar and sit down,turning to the flame monster...

When you said he 'wasn't looking too hot' you really meant it,he seemed to be sweating (even though he's made of fire,logic) and looked extremely nervous and distressed

"Seriously though dude,are you okay? Ya look pretty worked up over something,care to share it with me"

"Ugh,Yeah the Capella group that was supposed to perform today,the lead singer kinda died so they can't perform"

The flame monster then glanced at the guitar that was strapped to your back,his eyes widened as he began to get an idea

"Hey,can you play that thing?"

"Yup,I can sing too but I'm not really that goo-"

"PERFECT,dude can I ask you a favour"

"Uh sure"

"Think you can perform with the group,I'll give ya free meals and drinks for a week"

"Well I do need the food,I'm broke as fuck,spent all my cash on this guitar"

"Great,you can meet the group over at that booth"

He then proceeded to point at a table with a selection of monsters hanging out,you approach them and explain what chillby had requested,they were sceptical of the idea at first but eventually agreed,they showed you the lyrics and asked if you knew the song,you nodded in agreement and you all stepped up to the little stage

You and the others all gathered around a microphone and began the song...

After you finished you heard a loud applause from the audience,the song actually went pretty well,even flowey joined in on some of the vocals despite him being very quiet and reserved around most monsters

You walked back to chillby awaiting your reward when he offers something unexpected

"Hey,That was great,think you could work here,you'd get paid?"

He says while preparing some fries and a burger,he places it in front of you and you dig in,feeding some fries to flowey

""*nom* r-really **nom nom eating noises*"

"Yeah,maybe you could even use that guitar of yours next time"

You turn to flowey,a smug look on your face

"See I told you it would be worth it,who's the idiot now huh"

"Well..."

You stop him

"Ya' know what,don't answer that"

"Heh"

After agreeing to sing and play at the bar you leave,stomach full of food and brain full of shit,like usual...

After a while of wandering around snowdin like an idiot you come across a house,you can hear voices from inside to you decide to peek through the window...

"SANS YOU LAZY ASS,WHY DIDN'T YOU CATCH THAT DAMN HUMAN!"

"Sorry boss,he just slipped away somehow"

"WELL YOU BETTER FIND HIM OR ELSE"

"Got it Boss,I heard some buzz around town that a human got a job at chillby's"

"THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR,GO GET HIM"

"Okay boss,I'll find him"

You gasp and sans darts his head around to the window,you quickly duck your head down and mentally pray to the gods that he didn't see you

"I HAVE TRAINING WITH UNDYNE SO I'LL BE BACK IN A FEW HOURS,FIND THAT HUMAN SANS"

"See ya boss"

The taller exits the house,you look to flowey and see he has a look of sheer terror in his face,he was staring at something behind you but couldn't seem to be able to move out of pure fear

"Hey kid,it's not nice to listen in on conversations you aren't part of"

"HOLY FUCK"

You turn around swiftly and fall on your butt,standing behind you was sans

"How in the fuck did you get there so fast and without me noticing"

"Took a shortcut"he says coolly while shrugging

"So 'heard you got a job at chillby's,what do ya do"

"Like he'd tell you trash bag"

Sans smile quickly fades as he looks down at flowey Who is shivering in fear and cold yet still standing his ground

"Nobody asked you,weed"

You now notice that you are also shivering,your clothes were quite soggy and cold thanks to the snow,it seemed sans also noticed this but what he said next caught you off guard

"Hey kid,ya look chilled to tha' bone,wanna come inside and warm up?"

"I,uh,I don't,uhm"

"Don't do it (y/n),it's a trap"

"Shut up,if ya stay out here your gonna freeze to death,you're a smart kid,just accept the offer"

You decide that the warm house is better than sleeping another night out in the cold,you follow him inside the house and take a seat in front of the fire

The warmth coupled with the fact that you had a long day,had eaten your weight in food and hadn't slept properly in a while caused you to stupidly fall asleep,making you vulnerable to anything sans or his brother might do to you...
