Steven's POV

I sat down at my desk in class and saw McKenna wave at me. I smiled and gave a small wave. She was about to say something when Gene walked in between us and started to hit her lightly like to annoy her. McKenna told him to stop but he said, "Make me Kitty." McKenna's face turned red with anger. "Hey! She told you to stop!" I quickly put in. Gene turned to me and said, "Oh yeah?" he walked up to me and towered over me. I said nothing and looked away. "Yeah. That's what I thought." Gene said before taking his seat and class started. After class, I walked over to McKenna and asked, "You okay McKenna?" she nodded and said, "I'm fine but I just can't stand Gene! And Ivy! She's annoying as well. Sometimes I think why you even like her, she's such an ass!" I was slightly offended but gave a small chuckle. We passed Aphmau and Kawaii~Chan with a wave and went to lunch. I sat down next to McKenna and some of our friends joined us. Here's a list: Aph, Kawaii~Chan, Dragon, Kate, Eshaal, and Rhys. Gene walked over with Zenix, Sasha, Ivy, and Lily and Gene said, "Oh look! It's the nerds!" "Yeah! Stupid nerds!" Zenix quickly added. My hand balled into a fist as I tried to control my anger. It started to spark like lightning and McKenna saw and hissed, "Calm down! Your powers are showing!" I took a deep breath and the sparks left. "Hey! Why don't you just leave us alone?!" Aphmau snapped. Ivy hit the back of Aphmau's head and laughed. She started to hit everyone's heads but when she hit my head, I sprung up and grabbed her arm. Ivy looked shocked and demanded, "Hey! Let go! Let go you moron!" I stared at her with angry eyes that it started to scare her a bit. "L-Let go of me, you freak!" Ivy yelled, trying to yank her arm free. I let go and said, "Never touch my head again or else you'll regret it!" I like her but even I have to realize that she's a bitch. Ivy backed away and walked away with Gene.

*Timeskip to the end of school*

I walked home with McKenna and I opened the front door to my house and we hung out in my room. McKenna suddenly said, "You know...you can't keep it a secret forever. I mean, your eyes glowed just slightly when you grabbed Ivy today." I sighed and said, "I wish I didn't have this stupid power! I want to be a normal person and not be a freak the rest of my life!" McKenna hugged me and said, "You're not a freak to me Steven. You're my friend." I smiled and said, "Thanks McKenna." she let go and said that she had to go or else she'll be in trouble. I said goodbye to her and McKenna left. After she left, I started to think, Am I a freak or not? I'm a normal human being just like everyone else! I just have something special! I think...
