Luhan petrifies there, looking deep into Jaehee's eyes. Her face shows no expression but her eyes say it all. He can read her feeling through her eyes now. He knows, part of her starts breaking and hurting her but silent becomes her loudest cry. He needs to fix it, no matter how.

"Don't you want to go up?"

Finally, Jaehee opens her mouth, talking with her weak voice. Surely, she wants to yell and cry but she holds it. All because she witnessed everything, how Luhan tried to ignore Yoora and how his face showed vexation. She has no right to blame Luhan when Yoora was the one who tried to approach him.

"Don't you want to scold me?"

Luhan asks as he walks closer, never breaking the eye-contact. He sees Jaehee shake her head, but he still notices her insecurity. A sigh leaves his lips, he awares about her worry. It's not just me, but it bothers her too. Right when the lift closes its door, he pulls her into his embrace and and slowly caresses her hair.

"I'm sorry if it brings miss-understanding, but don't worry about Yoora" Luhan whispers.

"Something about her make me nervous" Jaehee confesses.

"Hey, hear---" Luhan talks softly as he lifts her chin up "---she is just my ex who hurted me so bad, just like Sehun to you---" He says "---now I'm asking, will you back to Sehun again after what he has done?" Luhan asks. Weakly, Jaehee shakes her head and frowns slightly.

"Same as me, I won't back at Yoora again, I will never" Luhan smiles softly at her. He finds a little mistrust on her face and he knows why "You'll understand why after I tell you my past" He explains more and immediately gets her attention.

"So?" Jaehee mumbles.

"I'll tell you everything" Luhan states it. He realizes, he tells her nothing about his past with Yoora. Maybe that's why she doubts him. He needs to clarify it since she is now his wife and soon to be a mother of his kids. He doesn't admit it but there is real reason behind it. It's simply because she is now a part of his life, what happens to her life will significantly influence his life.

After Jaehee hears his story, it's not hard for her to understand why he will never back to Yoora. Both Luhan and Jaehee had a history about betrayal. This assures Jaehee that Luhan will never do a betrayal by himself. Why? Because he had taste how bitter it was, he had feel how painful it was. A relief fills her heart and it brings smile to her face.

"Now you understand" Luhan smiles back.

Jaehee just nods and makes a cute noise as she opens her arms, asking for his hug. Luhan chuckles at her cuteness and immediately pulls her in to his embrace. He pats her back as he keeps chuckling. He never knows it will turn like this and for it, he feels thankful.

"How's the baby?" Luhan suddenly asks.

"Ah---" Jaehee looks at his eyes and grins "---actually, I haven't met Lay" She says it upright.

"Why?" Luhan asks.

"Long story, I met Sehun and Seolhyun---" Jaehee pauses and pouts, feeling annoyed "---they humiliated me, that was why I came here" She whines at Luhan.

"What? How dare they" Luhan bulges his eyes, acting fierce infront of her.

"It's your fault" Jaehee blames him as she pinches his waist.

"It happened to me because you were not there, how could you ask me to come alone? I looked like a miserable single mother" She sulks at him but he just tighten the hug and whispers his apology to her ear. It sounds really sweet and her heart melts for him.

"I will make another appointment with Lay tomorrow, I promise I will come with you"

Luhan looks determined. I promise to myself, I will never break my promise for you. In fact, he has a meeting with X.O fashion again, tomorrow, but he will ask Xiumin to handle it. Now, it's easy to make a priority, Jaehee and the baby first, then his work. He should've thought that way from the beginning. They are his family now and family always is his top priority.

Luhan is a man who always keeps his promises. Today, he comes with Jaehee to see Lay and of course to meet their baby for the first time. It's strange but he feels nervous and excited at the same time. He doesn't understand why, but he looks forward to hear things about the baby. After waiting for a while, the nurse asks them to go inside Lay's office.

"Look who are gonna be parents soon" It's the first thing Lay do, teasing them two.

"How are you feeling, Jaehee?" Lay continues, not caring about Luhan's frown.

"Great" Jaehee answers as they take seat infront of Lay.

After they take seat, Lay starts asking this and that to Jaehee. Luhan just hears them out as his heart keeps beating so fast without any solid reason. It thumps harder when Lay asks her to do the ultrasonography test. In all conscience, there is a little piece of his heart that hopes the baby will be health and strong, wanting for the best.

"Hmm, I think the baby is 7 weeks old" Lay talks as he keeps watching the monitor.

"It's just as big as your fingernail" Lay continues with a smile on his face.

It leaves both Luhan and Jaehee in awe. Luhan says nothing but everybody can see his soft smile. Slowly, a warm feeling grows inside his heart, making him feel fortunate and comfortable. Now he wants to say his gratitude because an abortion is never happened. If it did, he will never experience this kind of indescribable feeling.

In the other hand, Jaehee feels so happy until it leads her into an emotional state. She can't believe, there is baby inside her womb. She admits, she once didn't want it, but now she cherishes it. The bond has been made between her and the baby. I will never let anyone else hurt you, my baby.

Yoora feels annoyed by today's meeting. She expects to see Luhan's face but she finds his assistant there. It makes her more mad when his assistant, Xiumin, informs that he will be responsible for this project, replacing Luhan's position as a project leader.

Yoora already is not satisfied with this but it's worsen by the news about Luhan and Jaehee. Recently, Luhan and Jaehee was seen at hospital, appointment with obstetrician. Baby is on the way? Congratulation. It really burns her heart. She really wants to get back his heart and she will do anything. That's why she starts dialing his number, coming up with strategy.

In another place, Luhan who just gets in to the car, gets the phone call. He is confused because it's the unknown number. He hesitates to pick it up, having a bad feeling about it. It keeps ringing and makes Jaehee ask him why didn't he receive it. Then, he decides to pick up.

"Hello, who am I talking to?" Luhan asks immediately but he just hears chuckle.

"Don't you remember my voice?" It sounds so seductive, making him sigh. He knows who is it, Yoora.

"What do you want?" Luhan snaps.

Jaehee hears it and she turns to see Luhan. Who is it? Why he looks so mad? She watches how his expression turns more and more dark as he talks on phone. It makes her curious.

"I want you as the project leader, not your assistant" Yoora talks from the other line.

"I have no time for your ridiculous wish" Luhan talks back.

"Return to your leader position now, or I will cancel the project" Yoora starts threatening, but it doesn't work.

"Do as you wish" Luhan feels thankful because she throws that idea. It will be great if he doesn't need to see her face again.

"This project costs more than hundred millions, I swear, you don't want to miss it" Yoora raises her tone, never thinks he will simply turn it down.

"Not my choice, but yours---" Luhan talks as he glances at his wife. He sees her already pay attention to him "---run this project with Xiumin as the leader or not at all" He gives a hard choice.

Luhan doesn't care anymore. It's better to lose this project and never meet Yoora anymore. All because his wife feels uncomfortable with them working together. If he continues this project, Yoora will provoke his wife with some miss-understandings and he never wants it to happen. He won't let Yoora hurt his little family. I believe, I always can seek for money, but I will never get her trust back once I lose it.
