Jaehee wakes up in the morning without Luhan beside her. She blinks her eyes a couple times and sighs softly. She feels all different and a little bit odd. Now she lives for two, not only for herself. It kinda makes her heart flutter but it sends anxiety as well. She knows, if only she had her mother here, everything would be easier for her.

"Wake up?"

Luhan's voice brings her back to reality. She turns to see him there, already wearing his office attire. She nods at him but never moves her body out of the bed. She just feels so lazy.

"I make an appointment with Lay, come to his hospital this evening, okay?" Luhan talks.

"You'll come with me, right?" Jaehee asks, her eyes full of hope.

"Jaehee-ya, I'm sorry, I have an important meeting" Luhan frowns.

Jaehee says nothing, but just stares at him. Slowly her lips form a thin straight line. She feels so upset about it but she doesn't want to say it, she wants him to figure it out alone. It's the very first doctor appointment and he misses it, great. Her own thought just turns it worse. She now starts thinking about how cruel he is, choosing his business over his soon to be child.

"Are you mad?" Luhan asks. Hesitation is in his tone.

"You ask me?" Jaehee snaps and glares at him. Now he gets the answer.

"Hey---" Luhan walks closer, sitting on the edge of bed "---I say I'm sorry" He softly caresses her cheek but she still throws that deathly glare for him.

"I really have a meeting, I can't leave it behind, I need to work hard for you---" He pauses "---and the baby" It slips from his lips eventhough it sounds so weird on his ears.

"Really?! So why don't you just go and leave me here alone?!"

Jaehee yells at him. All his sweet talk doesn't work for this one. Luhan hears disappointment there, making him feel bad. He tries to touch her but she nudges it. For a while, he doesn't move and just stares at her. He totally doesn't know what to do.

"Hear, I need to go now, please, don't be angry" Luhan talks.

Jaehee is stubborn, she keeps her mouth shut, giving him silent as answer. But after a while, her lips turn into a pouty one and she starts making a puppy noise, sulking cutely at him. He stares at her and starts mouthing his apologize. Truthfully, he wants to stay but he just can't. He plays a big role at office, he needs to show his professionalism.

"I will ask mother to come and keep you company"

Luhan talks then places a kiss on her forehead. He feels guilty when he witnesses how deep her frown is. He gives a final stroke on her hair before he stands up and walks to the door. He admits, his steps are heavy. He has no heart to leave her alone. In front of the door, he turns his face and sees Jaehee already cover up her face with palms, probably crying.

"I'm sorry"

Luhan whispers and leaves the room. He understands why she acts like that. The pregnancy causes her to need more and more attention. He doesn't want her to feel abandoned by him, but right now, he really needs to adapt with his new position. He just hopes, she will try to understand him, as much as he tries to understand her.

Jaehee feels better after his mother comes and accompanies. But, his mother leaves couple of hours later. It disappoints her because she needs to come and meet Lay alone. She starts to think badly, she and the baby are not important in Lu's family. It makes her think twice about her decision to keep the baby. Is it right?

Jaehee drives a car alone to the hospital, looking so miserable. She walks along the corridor to Lay's office. After talking to the nurse, she needs to wait for her turn. She takes a seat near his office and plays with her phone, checking for Luhan's text or missed call, but there is none.

"What our Jaehee doing here, in obstetrician?"

Jaehee's eyes slightly widen. It's the most annoying voice for her, without looking at the person, she knows who it it. Slowly she lifts her face and changes her sight to Seolhyun. It's worse now, she just finds out, Seolhyun is with Sehun. They look down at her with their resent face.

"None of your business" Jaehee snaps immediately.

"Are you pregnant?"

It's Sehun's voice. Jaehee turns her sight to him, staring at his eyes. She sees his fierce look, but his eyes show a slight disappointment. They stare there, say nothing, answer nothing. Honestly, Jaehee doesn't know what to do, should or shouldn't she tell them.

"You do pregnant, huh? Wow, our baby will be friend someday"

Seolhyun talks, taking Jaehee back from her intense staring contest with Sehun. Seolhyun's words slowly get into Jaehee's brain and it really scares Jaehee. She just remembers about Seolhyun's pregnancy and now she feels so dumbfounded. What? Oh damn it, I don't want my baby become their baby's friend. Jaehee glares at Seolhyun.

"Aw, you scare me, where is your husband? Are you a single mother?" Seolhyun humiliates Jaehee, laughing at her.

"Can you please shut up? My husband is working for this baby's future, and what is your husband doing now?---" Jaehee looks at Sehun and smirks "---Is he jobless now because of the scandal you made?" She attacks Seolhyun back. Seolhyun bulges her eyes, she has nothing to say. It's right, Sehun's popularity is decreasing because of this scandal. No movie wants him as the lead role.

"You're a slut" Seolhyun curses at Jaehee. It leaves Jaehee speechless. How shameless. In her eyes, Seolhyun is the only one who deserves that title.

"I pity the baby to have a mother like you"

Jaehee talks softly, but it stabs to Seolhyun's heart. Before she hears Seolhyun or Sehun again, she decides to leave. She is not in the mood to check her pregnancy. She will ask Luhan to make another appointment later. Now, she just wants to run into Luhan and tell him everything.

Luhan stares at the representative from X.O Fashion, a famous fashion line from Hongkong. It's none other than his ex girlfriend, Yoora. It surprises him to see her again, but it just stops there. No excitement or any other feeling. He really knows how to draw a wall between his private life and his professional one.

"Let's we start it"

Luhan talks and they start the meeting. Yoora sits infront of him, giving him a sly smile. As it starts, Luhan focuses with the proposal but he senses, Yoora's eyes never leave him. He somehow feels uncomfortable with it. After a while, something brushes near on his knee. He lifts his face and finds her smirk. Yoora purposely brushes her heels on his knee under the table, just to get his attention. But it doesn't last long, after he realizes her motive, he goes back to the paper.

Yoora never stops, she keeps doing it, distracting him from his own thought. For Luhan, he just hopes this meeting will meet its end soon. He hates to be in the same room with Yoora, she is such an attention whore. That's why, right when the meeting end, he leaves the room first, going straight to his office.

"Luhan"

Yoora's voice echoes but he ignores it. I don't want to involve myself in her life anymore. Luhan presses the lift button in quick as he hisses when he hears her heels get closer. Suddenly Yoora grabs his arm, giving him no choice. He looks at her but has no expression.

"You avoid me, why?" Yoora asks but he keeps silent.

"Perhaps you start thinking about out old days?---" Yoora starts seducing, slowly she leans closer and whispers on his ears "---When we always rocked the bed" She stays still there, not moving her face away. Luhan just sighs and closes his eyes, completely disturbed by her.

Luhan hears the sound of the lift and its door open to the side. He starts opening his eyes but he looks into a pair of Jaehee's eyes. She stands inside the lift with her eyes wide open. She feels her heart beat so fast when she witness her husband with his ex, Yoora, standing too close to each other.

"Oops, Mrs. Lu is here, I think I'll see you soon, Mr. Lu"

Yoora gives a look to Jaehee, showing the glint on her eyes to Jaehee. It truly sends nerves, but Jaehee puts a poker face. It is when Yoora walks away from them, Jaehee hears the sound of her heart cracking. She barely breathes as she experiences the pain. She realizes, in any time, her weak heart will break and shatter into pieces. All because of his ex's appearance.
