Restless Night (Kimi De Santa)
A/N: This chapter was written in 3rd person POV, and I believe thats how the co-author wants to do their chapters for now on in this book? I could be wrong... Anyways, enjoy and be sure to stay for a somewhat long A/N at the end, maybe.
Third Person POV:
Life was going swell for the newly adopted fourteen year old, for once she could say the smile on her face was genuine and not forced. Se wasn't smiling just because she had two parents that loved her just as much, if not more, as she did them, she was smiling because something else happened. The one person who Kenny had always picked on, bullied, what ever you call it, was going to be okay. Maybe we won't be today or tomorrow, but Kimi was going to make sure he would be okay. She would do whatever it takes to make him feel okay, because she felt like she needed to.
With a smile still on her face she walked to her newly decorated room, it was late to everyone in the house but early for her. So Kimi had to be quiet, the one thing she didn't need was for her family to wake up from their precious beauty sleep. Beauty, that was something she missed. She didn't miss being beautiful, because she never was, she missed seeing beauty in her friends. She missed looking at her friends smiles when she would see them. She missed when her friends were okay, she missed when they weren't just 'Fine.' But then again, she was 'Fine' too.
Lightning flashed outside the window, illuminating the red room and the corner that Kimi had chose to occupy. Her knees were to her chest as she stared at the worn lighter she held in her shaking hand, tears falling down her face as the weight of the world rested on her shoulders. Kimi was quite simply breaking down. Her sobs were quiet and her tears were constantly being wiped from her face with the back of her hands. This wasn't a normal thing to happen, in fact she has stopped having these moments two years ago. But for some reason all of her depressing memories and all her insecurities had found a way into her brain tonight.
The demons were screaming louder than ever in her mind and she began to rock back and forth slightly, humming a soft tune to herself. She remembered how she would always hum that tune to her little brother, to little Dustin, when Mom and Dad would be fighting in the other room.
A certain memory popped into the fourteen year old's mind, causing her to drop the lighter and hug the Teddy Bear her new father had given to her. The memory was so vivid and so clear, and Kimi hated it. She hated seeing the one person who had broken her beyond repair.

"I'll never leave you, you're the most important thing I've ever had. I love you so much and nothing will ever change that. It would be impossible to leave you, but I don't ever want to test if that's true," his voice was smooth and comforting as he reached out and grabbed Kimi's cold hand. He pulled her closer to him and wrapped his long arms around her shaking body. His white shirt was becoming wet due to his girlfriend's tears as she continued to sob her heart out.
The grip he had on her was tight, warm and comforting. Kimi felt safe, for once she felt safe. She was beginning to stop shaking, she was beginning to calm down. Her boyfriend sensed how she was feeling and kissed the top of her head, then pulled her closer to his chest. He would stay in this position however long it would take for her to stop crying.
Doubt flew through Kimi's mind as she stopped crying and pulled away from his wet chest. Her voice sounded small and weak as she asked the question on her mind, "Zach, why are you doing this for me? Why are you still staying here for me?"
"Because I love you Kimi, I'll never stop loving you-" he began.
"But why? I don't deserve you, I deserve nothing you've ever done for me, none of the words you've spoken to me. I don't deserve you. The only thing I deserve is death."
"Don't ever say that. Death is the last thing you deserve. You deserve me just as much as I deserve you. Kimi, you're the best thing I've ever been blessed with, I love you so much."
~~~
I love you so much
Kimi remembered when she believe those words, when she trusted that person, when she loved him. Of course she still loved him, but it was different now. Zach didn't care for her anymore, he never thought of her anymore, to him, Kimi was nothing but a false step, and loving her was nothing but a mistake. And it hurt, it hurt to admit it to herself. It was almost impossible for Kimi to finally realize that the one thing she put all her energy in and all her heart in, no longer existed.
She stood up and walked into the bathroom, it's white walls reflecting the dim light from the lamp by her bedside table. Her shaking hand flipped the light on in the bathroom and then closed the door, locking it afterwards.
A loud sigh escaped her lips as she turned around to look at herself in the mirror. Her dirty blond hair fell into her green eyes, filled with disappointment, and ended just above her belly button. The black baggy shirt she wore hid her small frame and the fleece plaid pajama pants she had on covered her extremely pale legs. Kimi hated it, hated how she looked. But in all honesty, she just hated herself and the way she was.
The tears collecting in the corners of her eyes were about to fall when her phone buzzed loudly on her desk. Blinking them back, Kimi walked towards the blue glow that was her phone. A smile formed on her lips as she read the message. She grabbed her phone and shoved it in her pocket as she walked towards the large window on her wall. After opening it and popping out the screen she hoisted herself up onto the roof and examined the view. It was beautiful.
Kimi pulled out her phone and called Kate. Her head touched the roof as she shifted slightly to get more comfortable. Her eyes stared up at the night sky and observed the brightly lit stars as the phone rang into her ear.
Let's just say Kimi didn't get sleep that night, instead she stayed up till five in the morning spilling her feelings and thoughts to her best friend. And in all honesty, it was better than to sleep.
.....
(Levi/Ryan) A/N: This took forever and it's shit. But let's just say at the beginning I got super busy, then I got really stressed out over everything, then depression hit. When I actually got time to write, writers block was like "haha, nope fuck you and your ability to write." I'm super busy tight now with softball and school again. I'm also super stressed out. And in all honesty, I had no idea what to write for this chapter, so I'm sorry. But I have ideas for the rest of this book, so heres my shitty ass chapter that's really short. But I swear, soon enough I'll be back to my long chapters filled with random shit. So yeah, sorry again, but 'll see y'all in the next chapter I guess. PEACE! wc; 1232
(Kyle) A/N: Okay, I had this chapter for like a few weeks and I just got around to posting it because I've just started my Senior year of High School, and that kind of pushed things around. Plus, I would've written a chapter to fill the void, but writer's block and a bunch of shit just happened. I honestly lost a lot of my motivation over the summer, which is why I really haven't touched any of my books that much, and I'm sorry for that. I don't know when the next chapter of this will be up tbh. Also, I know there's gonna be some people who are like, "Why are you continuing this story after all the shit that happened between Bryce and Ohm." Trust me, I have an idea of where I wanna go with that, I wanna use it in the story. So yeah, we're trying our hardest to get back on track here, so please just give us some time to get real life shit figured out and find time to actually sit down and write. So anyways, sorry for the long wait, but here it is. :) And PEACE OUT my friends!
