Sammie's POV

   So today is my first day of school! I'm kinda excited because I've never been to school. I cant wait! I'm going to wear my favorite stripted shirt and some shorts. It's white with black stripes.

(Time skip because I'm lazy lolz)

   The school is huge! "Hello! Welcome to Florida Middle School! I'm Mr. Smith and I'll be your guide for the day! Let's check your schedule!" A tall man with black neat hair said. "Okay," I reply shyly. I show my schedule and he says, "Okay so follow me to your homeroom morning class, that will also be the last class of the day for you. Your teacher's name is Mrs. Shelby." I only nod. Wait... Isn't that the name of my adoption center person? Huh.. This school is NOTHING like tv! But that's cool. When we get to the class I see a few students there already sitting in the middle. I sat in the front wanting to be able to pay attention. I'm kind of a nerd... But that's fine! Probably 2 minutes later a kid sits next to me and being the shy one I get nervous. "Hi! I'm Sky! Are you new? I've never seen you before!" She says. "Y-yeah! I...I'm Sammie. I... I'm a bit sh-shy... if you c-cant already tell..." I reply. She says, "Nah. It's fine. You want me to be your first friend here?!" "Uhh! O-only if y-you want to! I-I don't w-wanna make you!" I say shyly. "Yep!" She says. 

   5 minutes later a teacher comes in and says, "Alright. We have a new student so we will have a fun easy homeroom. We will do 2 truths and a lie. New kid, introduce yourself and go first." "Oh.. O-okay! Hi! I-I'm Sammie!" I start with, "I am adopted, have contacts and like blue!" "Okay. Students I will draw a number if the number I call is on your desk in the corner please guess which is the lie," The teacher says, "5!" "Oh! Me! Okay.. Hmm... Adopted!" The random girl says. "Nope!" I reply. Gasp! The kid gasped. "That's so cool!" "Thanks," I say. "18!" "...c-contacts?" a emo looking kid in the back corner left says. "Yes," I say. "heh... i h-h-had a feeling..." 

(Time skip!! After school!)

   "it was nice meeting you Sky!" I say. "You too, here's my number! Call me if you have a phone!" she says. "I do, and I will!" I reply.

   I'm gonna love it here!
