Chapter 7
Paul's POV
We're all glad that George was finally able to write his own song. We had to write a few more songs for With the Beatles. We then took a little break and went outside to get some fresh air, when we saw a random person walk up to us.
He didn't really look happy with us and I'm not sure why. "How dare you get rid of Pete Best!" He yelled. We all flinched back a little because we weren't expecting that. "He was an amazing drummer and you just got rid of him like that?!" He continued.
"Who are you?" Asked John. "I am a big fan of Best and think his drumming is awesome," he said. "People have been really unhappy that he's gone." "But he's been gone for a year now," I pointed out.
"Apparently I just found out today and wanted to complain," he said. "Who is your new drummer?" John pointed at Ringo. The fan then stepped up to Ringo. I got a little nervous about this. "You will never be as good Pete," he said while poking Ringo in the chest. George then stepped forward.
"I'll have you know that Ringo here is a really good drummer and we love him," he said confidently. "Stay out of this shorty," the fan said and punched George in the face. He fell to the ground and Rebecca and Lilie immediately ran to his side.
"I'll never forget Pete's drumming and you'll someday learn," he said and then finally walked away from us. "Don't listen to him Ringo, he's just jealous," said John. We all hugged him and he felt better. George wasn't looking too good and we took him inside.
George had a black eye and we decided that he would still have a break. "No it's fine, I can still play," he said while putting on his guitar. "You're a strong boy Harrison," I complimented and let him play. The girls decided to leave to the room for a second.
Lilie's POV
Great we messed something up. George was supposed to get a black eye a year ago because that's how long Pete has been gone. It was horrible to see it. "What do we do now?" I asked. "I don't know, I knew something like this would happen, but I didn't know which event would change," said Rebecca. "Let's just hope they don't change any of their songs," I said.
"Don't jinx it Lilie, they probably will," she said. It seemed a little quiet in the room where they were. I hope they aren't listening to us. I then opened the door and they were still quiet. They were also looking at us with confused faces.
"What's going on?" Asked Ringo. "Nothing important," I pretty much lied. "Are you sure? Because you two look confused about something," wondered Paul. "We're fine," I said. "I don't believe you," Paul stepped forward. Somebody's acting sassy, I thought.
"Please tell us what's going on," he said. "We can't," Rebecca said a little down. "Why not?" Asked John. "We just can't," she said. "You girls can tell us anything," said Ringo. I looked down and sighed.
"Fine," I said in defeat. They all stepped forward next to Paul and looked at us with wide eyes. I didn't feel comfortable telling them, but right now I kind of have no choice. I told them the words that I wanted to avoid.
"We're from the future."
