Chapter 13
George's POV
The girls both looked so nervous when they were coming to the stage. I felt a little sorry for them, but they then got over it and I saw them take a deep breath. Paul started a count off and we played the starting chords for "Devil in her heart."
I knew that Rebecca liked this song because she was smiling the whole time when singing it along with us. Their voices were so beautiful! The audience then cheered very loud and we all smiled back at them and bowed. Then we started playing "You really got a hold on me" and Lilie started to smile big!
I knew how eager she was when suggesting this song to all of us and I enjoyed the way we played it. Now we were going to let the girls go off on their own with vocals. I smiled at them and they returned a smile back to me. I wiped some sweat off my forehead and began playing "Till there was you." Paul was so proud of how they sang it and I think he teared up a tiny bit.
The audience was pretty loud during all of this, but I'm glad they're all enjoying this concert! our final song would be a good one that we were saving for last. We wanted to do "Money!" So we started and just kept grooving along to the rhythm the whole time.
Once we were all done, we bowed one last time and exited the stage while waving and Paul had to give his goodbye speech. When we got backstage, Brian was standing there and he looked pretty happy. "Nice concert tonight everyone, this turned out really well, I'm glad you came up with this idea Paul," he said to us.
"You girls were amazing!" said John while hugging them both. "Thanks John," they both responded. I walked up to them both and asked them, "Why don't you sing with us more often? Everyone loved you both out there with us." "I don't know George," started Lilie. "We don't want to get in the way of anything."
"But you girls never get in the way of anything," said Ringo. "We love having you around."
Lilie's POV
Ringo's words were pretty flattering and I don't think I will ever forget this day and neither will Rebecca. We haven't really been getting in the way, but I'm afraid once things start to get very serious between them, then I think we will.
We're leaving London tomorrow and going back to Liverpool, so we get the rest of the day off. The lads really wanted to go to a club, but I kind of didn't. "Please come and celebrate with us," begged Paul. "I'm not sure, clubs aren't really my thing," I said back. "Yeah same here," joined in Rebecca.
"Please just give it a try, we promise that we'll watch you the whole time so nothing bad will happen," said John. "Ok fine, but you 4 better not drink too much," I said a little sternly. "We promise mom," mocked Paul. I rolled my eyes and smiled at him.
We went to a nearby club and it a looked pretty empty. There weren't a lot of people and everything was so quiet. It just made me feel awkward and I kind of wanted to leave. But of course the lads probably won't let me. So we all sat down at a booth and got some drinks. Music started playing and the lads wanted us to dance with us.
What the heck, I thought. It couldn't hurt. We all got up and started dancing to a random song that I didn't even know. But I think the lads knew it. Rebecca and I were just so confused during the whole song and just stood there awkwardly for no reason.
Then a random man just walked right up to me and took my hand. "Hey beautiful, wanna dance with me?" He seemed drunk and I didn't trust him at all. "Uh no thank you," I polity declined. "Are you sure? We could have fun." He squeezed my hand a little tighter and I tried to pull my hand out.
Then someone came up behind him and tapped his shoulder. "Leave her alone, she already has someone to dance to dance with." It was Ringo. He's being very brave and I smiled at him for helping me. The man let my hand go and walked away grumpily. "Thank you Ringo," I said. "No problem," he responded.
We walked back to the others and as I expected, John was not looking too good. George and Paul carried him back to the car since he was passed out and we drove back to the hotel. They took him to his room and tucked him in bed. He certainly is going to get a headache in the morning.
It's pretty sad because we're leaving and going back home tomorrow. But we hope he'll be ok for the night. Rebecca and I went back to our rooms and vowed to never ever forget this day.
I'm so so so so so so sorry I haven't updated this in so long! I've been so busy and couldn't really think of what to do in any of my stories! But I hope you enjoy this chapter!
