A dark shadow hovered of a sleeping baby. The dark shadow intensely watch the sleeping baby, as its head turned to the creaking floor outside of the dim light room. It turned back to the infant and a smile came across the face, showing all its pointed teeth, then fanished. The creaking of the floor stopped, then a bright light seeped through the small room, as the door opened. A woman peeked her head through the crack of the door. Her dark black hair fell to the sides of her neck, with her ice green eyes looked around in curiosity. Her eyes landed on the still sleeping infant and sweet smile fell across her lips. She stayed put for a couple more seconds watching the baby and then left.

     As the last light of the door disappeared and the creaking of floorboards was gone, the dark shadow came back. It came into light of the moon to show a cloaked figure. The cloaked figure lifted the hood of its head, to only show a beatiful women. The women had fiery red hair and white eyes with love shining through them. Her ears where pointed at the tips. A smile came across her face again showing her long pointed teeth. She walked over to the baby and laid her right hand, that had claw like nail, on the infant's cheek. The baby leaned into the warm touch of the hand. The woman slowly let her hand fall onto the mattress of the crib. Her fiery red hair cast a shadow covering her teary white eyes. She covered her mouth with her left hand, to not let a sob escape her lips.

     She slowly lifted the hood back onto her head. She turned her face away from the infant to leave. She lifted her head till her pure white eyes shown.

     "You'll be safe here my child, live a life that is full of hope. I hope you'll be able to live a life that is of a human, not of a Fae. Goodbye my daughter." She said in a soft voice. She left in a swift movement, that created a small breeze.
