Marc's P.O.V: 

I feel small nudges on my right cheek as I slowly open my eyes again. That same strange creature at my face as it continue's to try and wake me up. I groan softly as I sit myself up, the mint green creature slowly backs away from me slowly with it's arms in a cross shape. 

"That's one way to start introductions..." The creature slightly sasses me as, just assuming his voice is more of a male's, he keeps his little nub like arms together in a cross. 

"W-What... e-even are y-you!?" 

The same mint green cobra like creature forwards itself towards me as I simply squeak and back away. Leaving the mint cobra to sigh and mumble to himself for a short moment. 

"Listen, I'm Spades, the Snake Kwami. You were chosen to be the next protector of Paris. As the newest protector of Paris, you'll be helping out Ladybug and Chat Noir with Akuma's that attack the city," Spades explains to me as he finally uncrosses his arms, "Your powers as the Snake wielder is Agility, Pride and Bravery. To transform, you have to say 'Spades, Fangs out!'" 

I just need to know, what are even in those chocolate croissants?! I sigh as I need to be dreaming right now. Or if the rest of today is just some fake events. If today is a day of fake, unreal events. I will really be happy, so everything about Nathaniel with Lila is gone from my head and is never even considered. 

"I-I'm... dreaming... r-right?" I ask Spades in front of me, his large diamond-ish shaped head shakes to me as he sighs softly. 

"Sorry, this isn't a dream. But either way, today's your chance to prove yourself a hero!" 

"W-Wait, what-?" 

A deep thud rumbles through my words as I fall back down flat onto my bedroom floor. What is that?! I scramble back to my feet as I hurry to the window. I swiftly open them up as I stare downwards to the streets. A woman with no colors, just black all over her as she chases after random civilians. I scan all the people running as one of them is... Nathaniel?! But, he should be home by now! I shut my windows back shut as mental panic rushes through every vein in my body. 

"Calm down! Please, this is  your chance!" 

"... I'm Marc.... B-By the way Spades, but... how c-can I even handle an Akuma, w-when I c-can't calm myself down?" 

Spades comes closer to me as he places a stub, which I can only assume is his hand to my fingers on my face as he smiles softly, his two little white fangs showing to me. 

"Just transform, I promise it'll all be better!" 

Nathaniel's P.O.V: 

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA! None of you can escape me! For I'll turn you all into my soldiers for my army!" The Akuma villain inform not just me, all the people all around me too as she continues to shoot at us black rays from the rings on her fingers. Taking down slowly one after another of people to my left and right. 

My heart feels like it'll just give up right here, right now. All the people that are shot down slowly rise back up, swallowed in a black color as they start to chase after us, the remaining non-stop. Sweat runs down my neck as I keep up my pace as best I can, but god none of this is at all good! 

"Ennie meenie miney mo! I'll just go for you!" 

I look over my shoulder to see the woman cock her rings to me as they start to charge up and shortly shoot a black beam at me. I give out the last of my breath out to a scream as I cover my face with my arms.      

But, am I supposed to not feel anything when the shot is hit? I slowly uncover my face as I immediately feel it all burn up. A male wearing mainly a mint green suit, with black diamond like shapes close together in some areas to represent scales. His green mask only covering his eyes and some of his nose along with a flat headpiece representing a cobra's shape attached to the back of his suit too. A snake like tail hangs off him as he lifts his belt up, moving the tail around a bit as well.   

What do I even do? This is only the second time I'm being hold like this, aside from the time Ladybug saved me from my own Akumatization. Plus, my face is just a mess, what more can top off how more awkward this is? 

"You okay there?" The boy asks me as he looks down to me, only causing my face to flush up more. Oh no, already I know I have a crush on Marc. But... another superhero?! 

"U-Uh... y-yeah I am, thank you." I say quietly as I curl my hands up out of instinct. 

"That's good! Anyways, try to get back home. I'm sure that Ladybug, Chat Noir and I can handle this alright." 

I nod to the new and mysterious hero in front of me as he flashes at me a bright and more confident smile. 

"W-Wait! what's your name?" 

"... Spade Cobra." 

He informs me as he jumps back into action. Ladybug and Chat Noir both arriving shortly later as I watch from the distance the three battling the Akuma. Instinctively I take out my sketchbook as I run my mechanical pencil around on a brand new page as I start to draw him, Spade Cobra. He's so cool, just as amazing and kind as Ladybug. I wonder if Marc will like this new hero! Actually, I'm sure we can use him as our new heroine in our series two comics! 

'I can't wait to tell Marc about this!' 

Marc's P.O.V: 

"Bye Bye little butterfly..." 

I sigh to myself as I slightly bend myself down out of exhaustion. My hands on my knees for support as I wipe some sweat off my forehead. Ladybug and Chat Noir fist bump each other as they both in sync look at me. Ladybug makes the first move to come closer to me as I quickly straighten myself back up... At least I can get more active out of being 'Spade Cobra'. 

"I see your a superhero like us, what is  your name?" Ladybug asks me as she sticks her hand out to me. On the outside, I simply smile to her as I shake her hand softly, me on the inside, this is the best day of my entire life. I am shaking hands with a superhero that both Nathaniel and I are huge fans of, okay Marc-. Spade Cobra, don't make yourself look so obvious. 

"Me? I'm Spade Cobra, I'll be helping you and Chat Noir out from now on." I inform Ladybug as I give her a confident smirk, wow... what kind of magic is this? How am I suddenly so shy and timid moments ago, and now I'm this confident and helpful superhero now teaming up with Ladybug and Chat Noir? 

Chat Noir walks up to me as he places his hands on his hips with a more impressed expression on his face. 

"It'll honestly be nice to have another guy on the team! But as long as you don't try anything with M'lady, then I'm sure we'll be just fine." 

Ladybug responds to Chat Noir's line with a groan as she facepalms herself. I simply chuckle to her as I sudden hear a beeping coming from my bracelet. I take a look at my wrist as the mint color scales on it slowly lose color, into a cream white. 

"Looks like it's about time we all get going, we'll transform back soon." Ladybug explains as she tosses the end of her yo-yo into the distance, "Thanks again for the help Spade Cobra, looking forward to work with you again sometime!" 

Ladybug quickly zooms away into the distance as Chat Noir launches himself away into a different direction into the distance. I simply hurry back towards my house as I make sure that no one can spot me. I climb back into my window as I fall inside. Face into the ground as the last of the beeping dies down and my usual clothes returns to normal. Spades comes out of my bracelet as he shakes his head around. 

"Your a really fast learner! And look at you! You just completed your first ever Akuma!" 

"Y-Yeah... b-but, god this r-running and such is tiring..." I say weakly as I still can't catch my breath. 

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it sooner or later!" Spades informs me as he starts to savage around my room a bit, I sit myself back up as I stare at him strangely, a hand to my head as my head kinda hurts from my fall back into my room, "Anyways, you got something I can eat here?" 

"U-Uh... W-What do you want t-to eat?" 

"Mmm... You have any Cheddar cheese?" 

"Y-Yeah I-I'm sure I do... I'll be back!" 

I quickly exit my bedroom as I go into my kitchen, I pull out some Cheddar cheese along with some crackers. I go back into my bedroom as I place the food onto my desk. Spades hurries to the food as he immediately snacks on the cheese. I chuckle softly to myself as I take one of the crackers with cheese as I eat it. 

"Oh... I should also say, you can't tell anyone about anything, anything at all about you being Spade Cobra." 

"W-What? Why?" 

"Because, if you do... your identity being revealed will only make your job harder to handle. As Hawkmoth will know exactly who you are, and can take advantage of everything you know and love..." 

I stop chewing on the cracker and cheese in my mouth as Spades and I simply look at each other for a pause of time. Spades breaks that oddly long feeling silence as he goes back into eating mostly the cheese. I sigh as I close my eyes. 

'... Guess there's nothing I can do about that...'

I know that I have a bunch of making up to do for you guys as I haven't updated in a little while after chapter Three or so.
