"Shit shit shit, unclezawa's gonna kill me for leaving him alone with uncle mic. Plus I'm late. Fucking stupid stadium and snack machine."

Rin was currently surfing on a water platform at top speed, apologizing every other turn. When she finally burst through the door of the commentators box, she was relieved to see that only aizawa was there, and thankfully asleep.

Rin sighed in relief, "Oh thank God I have another few years of life---"

"Not so fast Rina, now why were you late?" Rin screeched so loud that it could rival mic's quirk, just from the pitch.

"IT WAS THE SNACK MACHINE'S FAULT I SWEAR!" Rin yelled quite frankly, scared for her life. Aizawa sighed, it didn't matter anyway, atleast she was here, unlike hizashi who wasn't gonna hear the end of it from Rina later, so he supposed that was A good enough punishment.

Aizawa shrugged off his sleeping bag, and turned to Rin. "So...did you harm any of my students?" Rin nodded proud of herself. "I ice punched the Lida guy in the balls"

Aizawa sighed, he didn't know what he was going to do with this kid. He remembered when she was quite and rarally spoke, often preferring to sign with hizashi, and from time to time her sister would join in on the conversations. Although she never fully understood what the two dorks where saying, she admitted to him once that she only partook in them, just to see her little sister occasionally smile.

"You do know that your papa won't be happy, right little listener?"

Aizawa was broken out of his trance by his loud co-worker, and neice arguing about something or another. He gave a small smile and decided that he liked everything how it was, and that he wouldn't change it for the world.

"AND THE TENSION IS HIGH, MIDORIYA'S AND TODOROKI'S TEAMS ARE LAUNCHING AT EACHOTHER, BOTH READY TO TAKE FIRST PLACE--"

Rin pushed her uncle to the side, adrenaline and suspense pumping through her veins, as she noticed kachann's teams about to enter the fight.

She screamed, "AND KATSIKI'S TEAM IS ENTERING THE FIGHT PEOPLE, WHO'S GOING TO WIN? THE SUSPENSE--"

BEEP

The suspense broke in an instant, kachann fell off of the boy with spiky red hair, and tumbled about 4 feet. Izuku's and Todoroki's teams both stoped about a foot away from each other.

Present mic started rambling about the point scores, and who had gotten what. When she heard that izuku had gotten fourth place, she bolted out the door.

Rin activated her quirk, making water skates, and surfed along the walls, floor, and even the ceiling trying to get to izuku and kachann as fast as she could.

She made her way to the lunchroom as fast as she could. Seeing as she only had about half an hour before the half time show, she wanted to spend it with both of her best friends.

Rin burst through the open doors of the cafeteria and looked around, trying to find a blob of green hair, or a spiky mess of ash blond locks.

After afew minutes of looking around Rin found one of her targets. She surfed her way over as fast as she could, and jumped on the ash blonds back, nearly making him faceplant into the ground once more.

"WHAT THE FUCK--"

"KACHANN, CONGRATS ON GETTING SECOND PLACE, YOU DID REALLY GOOD!" Rin basically screamed in his ear.

Katsuki looked to the girl smiling on his back, latching onto his shirt for dear life, talking a mile a minute. His gaze softened a bit as he noticed the goofy grin that used to be so rare, and timid, but was now lively and energetic.

The one thing that hadn't changed in their years apart, was the brightness of it. Her smile, he decided in that momment, could still light up the world if she let it.

Katsuki snapped out of his daze as he realized that she was about to fall off of his back. He adjusted his grip so that he was holding her legs in a crouched position, while she was able to hook her arms loosely around his neck.

"Rin" she stopped talking almost instantly. Katsuki sighed gruffly, "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with deku?" Rin tilted her head to the side with a questioning look on her face, before a realisation seemed to dawn on her.

"Oh, are you talking about what I said before?" Rin playfully pinched his cheeks. "Don't you remember? I told izu kun I would see him later, but I promised you," she booped him on the nose "that I would be there, and you know that I keep my promises."

Katsuki merely grunted at her statement. Rin turned to the four people infront of her that looked as though they were in some sort of shock. Rin smiled at them and asked, "So, what are your names?"

The first one to answer was the pink girl, whom had horns, and quiet frankly looked like an alien. "I'm Ashido Mina, it's nice to meet you...Ren, right?" Marina nodded at this. Mina introduced the three boys in turn, from left to right.

Once all introductions were made, Rin looked around. While she ignored the other's conversation, she scanned from her elevated perch on kachann's back for a certain blob of green hair.

After afew minutes of looking she found her target, he was with a dualed haired boy, being dragged away from what looked to be his friends.

Rin ungracefully jumped off of Katsuki's back, and face planted into the floor. Before he was able to stop the energetic girl, and scold her for her clumsyness, she ran off.

Katsuki grunted in annoyance, and chased after her, while the group of idiots tryed calling after him, to no avail.

Rin hide behind the corner of the wall. Both her and kachann had been there for most of the conversation.

They heard about what had happened to todoroki and his family, what his father had done to his mother, what he was even created for in the first place.

Katsuki looked at Rin, she stared at the floor, she looked so, so broken he didn't really know how else to describe it.

Rin felt eyes on her.

When she looked up, she was met with a crimson gaze. It's was fiery and dangerous, but now it had a gentleness to it. She couldn't describe it. Rin knew that she must have reveled something on her face.

She breathed in slowly, pushing the bad memories back. Memories that were better left forgotten. As Rin breathed out she heard the voices moving. She looked round the corner, to find that the backs of both boys were turned to her.

She lightly touched the space under her eyes. Rin could feel the slight elevation in the skin, and the make up that covered the scars.

Cautiously, she stepped out of her hiding spot, carful to make it look as though she had just halted after running for a bit.

Todoroki noticed her, he was only half listening to what midoriya was saying. He looked at her, wondering if she had heard his conversation. He glared at her, unsure, but when he heard midoriya's declaration, all of his focus was back on the green haired male before him, as he hardened his glare even more.

Rin looked at the boy, she knew a broken face when she saw one. After all, she and her sister had once been broken too. As much as Jennifer had tryed to stay strong for her, she knew that deep down, their past had taken its toll on her even to this day, she could still hear the screams and crys of her sister the night of their escape.

She wiped the traitor tear that slipped her hold, curseing herself for not having more control. When Rin looked up, it was silent, a staring match between the two males. She looked at the dual haired boy, she noticed him breaking away from the green blob's gaze and catching her eyes.

So she smiled.

A genuine, heartfelt smile, Rin hoped that it was enough to reassure the boy that he had atleast one ally, at the very least one person who wouldn't judge him.

Rin decided to make her presence known to the green blob, and jumped onto his back with a running start and screamed, "IZU KUN! CONGRATS ON GETTING FOURTH PLACE! YOU DID AMAZING!"

Izuku screeched like banshi, he hadn't expected Rin to appear so suddenly.

After afew seconds of calming down, he managed to get her off of his back and envelope her in a strong warm embrace.

In true Izuku fashion, he cried like the sentimental boy he was. Rin merely hugged him back, happy to have her first, and best friend back.

Katsuki took took this as his cue to interrupt the sence. Smirking inwardly to himself, he was happy to have Rin back, (not that he would ever admit that to her face).

As he walked out from their make-shift hideing spot, his usual scowl present as usual, he called out. "OI, shitty deku, don't cry like a baby. You'll make her cry, and then aizawa'll think that I did something to her." Rin giggled at his statement, she knew it was his way of saying that he was glad she was back.

"AH, K-KACHANN! Ho-how long have y-you been there?" Izuku stuttered out, a slight pink hue to his cheeks.

Katsuki tsked at this and replied with a growl, "It's non of your business you shitty fucking nerd-- OW HEY! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!?" Rin pouted at him, and tried to look as intimidating as possible, wich was surprisingly working to an extent.

"Don't call izu kun that! Your just as much a nerd as he is! Unless your grades have been slipping, only then will you not be a nerd. HMP!" Izuku nervously laughed at Rin and kachann's antics.

As they continued to bicker, Izuku noticed that Rin had become more bold in the three's years apart. He remembered that she would always flinch a bit when kachann raised his voice, but now she stood tall and strong, berally paying any mind to his loud voice.

Izuku noticed other things too, small things that had changed. They weren't big changes, but they were there. He smiled a bit, as he remembered her latest hair color from back then, that she had aperntly decided to return to her natural light, slightly wavy, ocean blue color.

Rin had thought that it would look cute if she dyed her hair in a faded pattern of ash blond, to green, and finish off the tips with her natural color of blue. She had said at the time that it was a symbol of their friendship. Better than any bracelet that could be lost at any momment.

He smiled at the thought, as he was pulled out by Rin's panicked shriek. She said something about being late and told them to watch the halftime show. Both got a quick hug goodbye as she activated her quirk on her shoes, and skated away, useing any surface she could cling to.

Katsuki, no longer seeing a reason to stay, left to go get some food on his the way to watch the halftime show.

Izuku smiled sadly. It was the first time that he had properly seen his friend in ages, and he had really missed her. He wiped away the last of his tears, and made his way back to the stadium so that he could watch the halftime show.

Izuku sighed sadly as he walked, and thought, that maybe, just maybe that she could mend them back together.

(HAIIII!!! Sorry that I haven't updated in a long ass time, as most of you know I had a really bad case of writers block. I really do hope that this chapter made up for it! ^-^!
