Everybody always wants someone

that looks like a flower,

that smells like rich perfume,

that resembles the safety of a home,

that feels like soft silk.

someone who could reach the top.

But you look like a plain white tee,

you smell like lemon. Fresh.

You resemble a river. That always flows,

you feel like a jumper. Kind of itchy.

You sound like what my mother always says:

"Be careful and put a smile on your face".

You're someone who is ordinary enough,

But could definitely reach the stars.
