In my experience, my generation has been the responsibility.

Drunken adults

sober teens,

yet they accuse me of being reckless.

Driving while intoxicated

while I was waiting at home

yet you accuse me of neglectful attitude.

The dread in your eyes

is masked with a thin sheet of

'Happiness'

laid down by the devil

who offered a drink which promised to make you forget.

Coming home to see you bruised and broken

only enforced me to become the parent

and take

'Responsibility'.
