A/N: So I wrote this ballad for English class and it actually turned out pretty good so I thought I'd post it here. The funny thing was that while I was writing this, I didn't get writer's block at all. It was p great. Except for the last stanza. I couldn't get the rhymes to work, so if anyone has any better ideas, suggestions, or comments, please feel free to share them! 

Writer's Block, a most wondrous thing,

Full of pain, torture, and countless other annoyances unseen.

You make me want to rip my paper in anger, hit my head in defeat,

Crawl away and binge watch Netflix, whether if be for minutes, hours, or even a week.

Writer's Block, or maybe I should say 'procrastination-causer-galore',

I absolutely love those time you make me want to curl up on the floor

Surrounded by forgotten and unfinished drafts,

Brought to tears and near-hysterical laughs.

Writer's Block, the love of my life,

Thank you for giving me trouble and causing me strife.

For giving me brilliant ditched story ideas and unfinished plots

Unused dusty characters, left there to rot.

Writer's Block, you really need to back off,

It was slightly funny at first, but now I think you've done enough

Trying to keep up with all your jokes and tricks

It's almost as confusing as modern day politics.

Writer's Block, for once I believe I have won,

(I just hope I'm not to early to jump the gun)

Because I haven't slipped or got blocked on this ballad yet

And all the qualifications of my writings are met.
