Merlock sat with Tyler in his library, Merlock read a few books then spoke "so... Your half demon?" He asked "..yeah" Tyler said in a sad way

Merlock closed the book he was reading "that means you must have Dark magic coursing through your veins... I've been able to sense it but I simply thought it was the book over there..." He pointed to a book in the back of the room, Tyler seemed a little curious about it, then thought about what Merlock said "so... Your saying I have dark magic?" He asked

Merlock frowned "indeed, but I wouldn't suggest practicing on your own..." He said and stood up "but with help you might be able to use dark magic in good ways.." Merlock mumbles something else, Tyler could only make out the word 'Apprentices'

Merlock held Tylers arm in a position "focus..." He said, Tyler focused on his hand and a small shadowy purple flame showed up, he started panicking and shook his hand, causing the flame to hit Merlocks hat

The wizard jumped and threw his hat off, quickly putting out the fire "I think thats enough for today..." He said "but we just started-" Tyler was inturrupted "I understand that, But you have school tomorrow am I correct?" He asked Tyler hesitated "..yeah..." He said and walked out

Merlock waited until Tyler was long gone, he looked at the book "I know your intentions..." He said "Heheh... You know me so well Merloser!!" The book said, his snake like bookmark tongue flicking around

"I won't let you do the same thing you've done to my other apprentices, don't think for one second that i'll let you manipulate this one as well..." Merlock said angrily "we'll see about that ya old coot!" The book said grinning

Merlock walked out of the library and to his room, he sat and then spoke out loud "I can't lose another one.." He said quietly before going to sleep right at his desk
