Katie hummed as she listened to her music, cleaning up the kitchen. She swayed to the beat, smiling as she began to sing along to the next song on her playlist.

Katie giggled, leaning over the counter to wipe it off.

She twirled on her toes, not noticing the man leaning against the fridge, smiling lovingly at her.

Katie brought out the broom and started to sweep as she sang and swayed, the man chuckling as he watched.

Her eyes closed as she spun.

Katie dipped back herself, grinning widely as she slid on her toes.

She opened her eyes and paused once she spotted her visitor. Katie then grinned, then continued.

Katie circled around the island and made her way to Shiro.

She took his hand and raised his arm to spin under the arc she made. She grinned and leaned against him.

Katie pulled away, dipping back. Shiro leaned forward, placing his other hand on the small of her back.

"I hope you catch me when I land!"

Shiro shook his head as he pulled her up.

Katie slid her arms over his shoulders as she smiled up at him.

Shiro laughed as they swayed, occasionally spinning her under his arm.

We always get the munchies
And we go for early brunches
That turn into late lunches"

Shiro hummed and nodded. He said something, but she didn't hear.

"And we ain't got a label
We just rolling with the punches
I make fun of your belly
And tell you to do some crunches"

Katie poked his abdomen teasingly, and he raised a brow. She quickly realized with the poke that he probably didn't need to do crunches.

"And you say well yeah your ass jiggles
Go and do some lounges

Shiro laughed at her, spinning her and leading her through the kitchen.

Katie grinned as she embraced him, pulling their dance to a halt.

Shiro reached up and pulled out her headphones. "Why have I never been allowed to here that beautiful voice before?"

Katie laughed, gently pushing his chest. "I'm not as confident in my singing as I am in my dancing or technological skills."

"No amount of confidence you have in anything will every compare to your confidence in your technological skills," Shiro pointed out with a grin.

She hummed and nodded. "That is very true." She confirmed. "So, what's with the unexpected yet very pleasant visit?"

"Well," Shiro hummed, pulling her closer. "I was asked to bring you somewhere special."

The short girl raised a brow. "Yeah? And where would that be?"

Shiro hummed. "Can't say. In fact," he raised a bandana, "I have to blindfold you."

Katie whined. "But, Shiro! I wanna know!"

Takashi tsked. "No can do, Pidge. Orders from the boss."

"No!" She practically wailed, bringing Rover scrambling into the kitchen. "Allura!? Please, Shiro!"

Shiro chuckled. "Sorry, Pidgeon. I have to do it."

Katie narrowed her eyes and scowled at him. "You are so lucky you're pretty." She huffed and turned around, arms crossed. "Blind fold me."

"Are we there?" Katie shuffled in her seat as Shiro drove. He laughed and nodded, then remembered she was blind folded.

"Yes, Pidge. We're here."

Shiro got out and skirted around the car to open the door for her. "Keep that on. You're not allowed to see, yet."

Katie pouted as he helped her stand. "You and anyone here are jerks." Shiro apologetically kissed her forehead. She wrapped her arms around his prosthetic as he lead her away from his car. "So, what is this for, anyway?" She grinned, poking Shiro's side.

The older man hummed. "Nothing, really." She pouted, then gasped as he tugged the blind fold off her head. "Just your birthday."

"Happy birthday!"

Katie jumped at the synchronized shouts, then laughed as several people jumped on and embraced her. "You guys remembered!? I didn't even remember!"

"Pidgeroni!" Lance gasped, pulling away. "How do you not remember your own birthday!?"

She shrugged and grinned sheepishly. "Slipped my mind? So this is the party you were planning?"

Lance puffed his chest proudly and raised his chin. "By myself."

"I helped," Keith muttered.

Hunk pushed Lance. "I chose and made all the food!"

Allura huffed. "I decorated and got the place."

"Yeah, yeah," Lance waved a hand at them.

Katie laughed. "Thank you, guy! Now where's my presents and the alcohol?"

"Pidgeroo, it's the middle of the day."
