Meco's POV

We got close to the pack grounds and I smelt a few wolves. I looked over to White Fang and he looked back at me.

"Lets tell them we just went for a peaceful walk since we both couldn't sleep.", I whispered  to him.

He nodded and we kept walking until we hit the edge of the forest. I took in a big breath and walked forward into the clearing.

Me and White Fang walked casually towards my den. When I got there I saw Hect asleep, as usual, and the she wolf sitting down looking into space.

I looked at White Fang and we both nodded thinking of the same thing. I sighed loud enough for her to here.

I made sure she was looking before continuing. "Oh, how will I tell her?", I said holding in my laugh.

"Im not sure madam.", he said smirking.

"What you you to doing?", she said walking up to us.

"Nothing just talking.", I say winking at White Fang for him to go on.

"Yeah that's about it I guess just talking...", he said with a smirk.

"About?", she said looking at me then him.

"Nothing...", I said about to burst out laughing but holding it in.

"Uh huh.. Why do I not believe you?", she says looking at me dead in the eye.

I couldn't hold it in anymore and it seems White Fang couldn't either, we just started laughing.

"What are you to laughing about?", she said sounding confused.

"We. Were joking. with you.", I said in between laughs, "You. face was. priceless."

"Anyway.... Where were you to?", she said after we finished out laughing fit.

"Oh we couldn't sleep so we just went out into the forest and walked around, and I guess lost track of time.", I said looking her dead in the eye hoping she wouldn't notice I was lying.

"Yeah we went down to that waterfall near the edge of the territory.", White Fang said, I didn't even think about that excuse.

"Oh ok well next time tell me when your going.", she said serious.

"Ok I will.", I said looking at her then at White Fang.

"We better go going Kite wants us and Hect to go on a stroll in the woods.", I said looking at the still sleeping Hect.

"Ok but good luck waking him up I tried and couldn't get him to budge.", she said looking at him.

"Im his sister I know how to wake him up.", I say walking over to him.

"Hect....", I say softly pausing.

"Foods ready..... Its a hare, the big black ones you like.", I say smirking but still talking softly.

His head jerks up and he is on his feet in no time.

"Where!?", he says looking at me.

"Hmm I don't know maybe I just used that to get you up.", I say smirking.

"You little!", he says while running at me.

I quickly run out of the way and snarl.

He snarls back and I laugh, but still get into my playing position.

He does the same and we go at each other playfully.

"HEY HEY! Not in the den!", the she wolf says breaking us apart.

We both laugh a bit until  White Fang says, "Come on guys Kites waiting on us!"

We both rush past him out the den and we hear him yell for us to stop but we keep going, only faster.

We get to Kites den in no time, and see him waiting on us.

"Where ya been? You guys were should've been here thirty minutes ago! And where is White Fang?", he asked.

We both look at each other then I hear something and I look behind me and see a panting White Fang coming.

I laugh when he gets here, "You guys left me in the dust!", he says looking at me then Hect.

Me and Hect again burst out laughing, "Welll its not our fault your slow.", Hect says after we finish laughing.

"Hey! You guys were pushing yourselves to go faster not slower when I was calling for you to slow down!", White Fang says looking at me then Hect again.

Hey guys! I know this is somewhat short but I got a small headache doing this so yeah. But I will still be updating The Missing Alpha today just not right this second. I still hope you enjoyed and like always, See ya my little pups!
