Meco's POV

I woke up  for the hundredth time that night. I looked over and saw Hect and the she wolf asleep so, I quietly walked past them and headed towards the den entrance. Once I left the den I sniffed the air and found a scent that I seemed to enjoy but, I don't know why. It suddenly banged on me that it was my mates scent and when it did in my mind I was like 'duh'.  "Hmm he seems close.. maybe I can go see him maybe get his name.", I whispered to myself. I started walking that way until I got close enough I could hear him.  He was asleep. He was sleep talking and after a minute of listening I couldn't hold in my laughs anymore. I heard a "Huh? Who's there??", and I laughed even more. I walked in front of him still laughing a bit. "First off why are you here so early, geez its only like four in the morning and, second off why are you laughing?", he asked confused. "Well for one I couldn't sleep so I decided to come here and, two im laughing cause you sleep talk.", I said as I started laughing again. "W-What? WHAT DID I SAY!?", he practically yelled out. "Shhh your gonna wake up my pack." "Oh and I might of heard... stuff", I said walking around him with a evil smirk on my face. "What did you hear!?", he demanded. "Geez I didn't hear much only that you I quote, "love her pitch black fur and her beautiful crystal blue eyes they are just, amazing!", I said popping the maz in amazing. "Whaaaat? I didn't say that....", he said in a girly voice telling me he was lieing. "Oh be quiet I know when a boy is lieing  their voice gets girlyish.", I say laughing a bit. "Fine you caught me I really do like your eyes and your fur.", he said with an embarrassed look on his face. "Oh thank you I like your fur too", I replied smiling. He looked up at me with happy eyes. "Oh im Meco!", I said quickly as I almost forgot to say it. "Yea I know ..oops.. sorry that came out stalkerish. Oh and im Mystery.", he replied. "I like that name Mystery it sounds so cool!", I said excitedly.  I suddenly relized it was getting bright outside and I started to panic. "Oh no I got to get back! They don't know I left!", I said quickly as I started to turn around and head back. "Oh ok well it was nice talking to you!", Mystery called to me. "Thanks you to", I called back as I started running back. When I got there I saw a worried Hect, she wolf, and White Fang. I laughed nervously. "What the heck Meco where did you go!?", Hect said angrily. "Sorry I couldn't sleep so I went into the woods and... um just got caught in my thoughts  I didn't even relize It was bright out.", I said thinking quickly. White Fang seemed to catch on to my lie as his face grew less paniced. "Yea she does that a lot.", White Fang said coming up to me. I gave him a thankful look as everyone gathered together and brought me into a hug. Just them Kite came up to us and laughed. "Is it a group hug if so let me in!", Kite said before jumping on top of Hect and got in the middle of us laughing. We all pulled apart laughing. It was time to hunt again so me, White Fang, Hect, and Kite started walking to the hunting grounds. Kite and Hect were in a group so me and White Fang were in a group too. I looked over to White Fang and said, "You didn't have t do that you know." "I know but I wanted to", he said smiling. I smiled back and then we walked there in silence but , it wasn't an awkward silence it was a relaxing silence.
