White Fang's POV

As we talked I stumbled upon the question in my mind I let it slide out of my mind to my mouth,"Why didn't you ever tell us about Hect?" "Well I never thought I would see him again so I didn't want to get emotional about someone I would never see again....", she said sadly. "Im sorry... I just, needed to ask...", I replied. "Its ok", She said calmly. She then looked out of the cave and then looked back at me. "Its getting late I getter be going..", She said while coming up to me and kissing me before leaving. I stood in shock for a few moments then laid down and went asleep quietly.

Meco's POV

I went out of his den after kissing him and started to head back to the den when i saw the she wolf with bedding going into the den. I then remembered that Hect is staying with us. When I got there though I saw Hect asleep already on bedding and I saw the she wolf putting the bedding I saw before down. She looked up and saw me and then she turned to look at Hect and sighed "He did EXACTLY what you did, he just went and laid down on my bedding JUST like you...", she said as I started laughing quietly so I didn't wake him up. I went to my bedding and laid down quietly and with the soft sound of Hect and the she wolf breathing I quietly went to sleep. Then I suddenly awoke to a loud noise outside the den but, no one else woke up so I guess I was just imaging it... or was I?
