White Fang's POV

I thought is was weird for Meco to just wander off, so I started following her keeping a safe distance. I started getting thoughts on how she might od found her mate and the pull was making her go towards him, but mates are super rare now since the human place has most of our actual mates and, that's why we pick our mates instead now. I picked her and she picked me... I don't know how I will feel if I find out she found her mate. I started to regret following her but I kept going. I heard talking from two voices, one of which was Meco's but the other... was a unknown male. I hid in the bushes and listened. "But what about White Fang..?", Meco asked under her breath but the male heard and said. "You mean the white wolf you hang out with? Oh and sorry if that seems stalkerish but, I just had to stay in this area because of a feeling but it turns out is was a pull to pull us together.", the male says calmly but it has a tinge of surprise in it. "He will be heartbroken though...", Meco says a bit louder than before. "Well if he found his mate he wouldn't be and, I have a friend that has the same pull as us but, we arn't for sure if its White Fang.. Is that what you call him?", The male asked. I think I heard Meco nod her head a yes but shock was still in the air. "But what about my pack they wouldn't just let two stangers in, I mean they let me in but because I was hurt and a small pup.", Meco says and the male responds with, "Maybe they will let us in.. We can only try." "Well anyway I better be getting back to the pack... See ya around?", she ask calmly. "Yea see ya", the male says as I heard him run off. I heard Meco start to come back so, I ran I didn't even notice that I was making noise in the bushes as a ran. I got back to the pack grounds and ran to the new deer and started eating like nothing happened, even though my heart was beating so fast it seemed like it was going to burst out any second. I heard movement in the bushes and looked up to see Meco looking paniced. I pretended not to see she was panicing as she walked up to me. "White Fang... I know you were there....", Meco says with panic in her voice. "What how!?!", I reply wearily. I heard you running and I smelled your scent in the air..", she says with less panic but still she seemed scared. "Are you mad?", she ask tears forming in her eyes. "No of course not... I mean im a little sad I guess but that under standable right? I mean I just found out the mate I picked has found her real mate.", I say calmly yet still kinda sad. "Oh thank goodness! I was so scared! And you might even have your own real mate. I mean they don't know for sure but you might.", she says less tense. "I know and im kinda hoping I do so I don't have to watch you be with your mate while im all alone over here", I say with a small chuckle. "Oh come here you big baby!", she says hugging me. I was a little tense a first but I quickly recover and hug back. (They hug by putting their heads on each others shoulders.) One we parted I said, "I will help you get your mate and his friend in the pack, even if she isn't my mate I know that her mate is at least in this pack." "Oh thank you White Fang! You don't know how much that means to me!", Meco says smiling brightly. "Your Welcome..., and I love you... in a friendly way.", I reply. "In that case I... love you too." she says pausing but I get that, I mean she has a new wolf shes gonna say that to now. I noticed it was getting dark so I looked at Meco and she nodded. I saw her walk to her den that she now shared with her brother and the She wolf. I went to my den which only I lived in. I laid down and had went to sleep after a minute of thinking of how to get Meco off my mind. I got her off my mind but that was after I had fallen asleep.
