*This takes place in the Young Justice univers between seasons one and two*

Megan placed the cake on the middle of the snack table.

"This is so exciting! A chance to meet new possible members." She squealed.

Robin picked nonexistent lint of his shirt for the millionth time.

"Yeah...exciting. Arty, does my hair look okay?" Robin asked the blonde archer.

"Yes. It looks fine. Now stop asking me!"

Wally just finished chugging a glass of fruit punch. "Cut Rob some slack, babe. He is just nervous because his girlfriend is coming over."

Robin made a face that greatly resembled a fish who was taken our of water.

"Batgirl is not my girlfriend! We're just partners!"

"Yeah. Partners." Rocket wiggled her eyebrows in a suggestive mannor and Robin's face grew to a deeper red.

The Zeta tubes announced that Batman, Black Canary, Aquaman, and four guests were entering the cave.

"Kaludar!" Tula yelled. She forced her friend into a tight hug. "It is so good to see you again." Kaludar smiled at Tula and Gath.

"It is wonderful to see you both again."

Megan was already explaining everything you possibly could want to know about the team, to Karren. Dick spun around to see Barbara wearing dark shades.

"You better show me what's so great about this cave, because so far it looks pretty boring."

Dick grabbed Barbara's arm.

"I'll give you the grand tour." The pair walked away from all the festivities and explored the cave. Eventually they found themselves on the outside of the mountain.

"The beach looks awesome from up here," Batgirl said, breathlessly.

"Yeah. I come here when I need to think."

"What kind of stuff do you think about?"

Dick threw his arms in the air. "Everything!"

This caused laughter to rush through the boy and girl wonder.

A bolt of red whizzed past them.

"Guys, I know you two are love birds and everything, but Megan said she wouldn't cut the cake until you came back inside, so hurry up!" Wally pouted before leaving, quick as a flash.

"Race you!" Dick screamed before starting to sprint through the cave. Barbara followed close behind. Even with his advantage, Robin still tied with Batgirl.

"Oh good, you guys are here. We can eat cake!" Megan smiled before levitating a piece of cake to everyone. This is when the girls and boys split up and talked.

"So, Batgirl, how long have you been crime fighting?" Artimis asked.

"Almost two full years. I started when I was 13. Robin joined the team a little bit after I stated out."

"Are you and Robin good friends outside of 'work'?" Tula questioned.

"Yep. Robin and I have been friends longer then he has been Robin."

"Just friends?"

"Well-"

"-I'm sorry about this BG." Robin said as he planted a huge kiss on Barbara's cheek.

This made all the guys (especially Wally) go insane and all the girls stand dumbfounded.

"Well, I did it. Are you guys happy?" Robin shouted at the guys. Batgirl grinned an evil grin, put her index figure on Dick's chin, and turned his head back towards her.

"If you wanted a kiss, Boy blunder, all you had to do was ask." Barbara kissed Dick on the lips with all the passion she could muster. Dick had to grab Barbara's waist just so he wouldn't fall backwards.

When the kiss book every person in the cave was utterly silent. You could hear a particle of dust drop.

Barbara looked at the clock on the computer. "Is it that late already? I have dinner with my dad tonight, so I can't stay. It is super awesome meeting you all and I would be honnered to be apart of this team." Batgirl waved goodbye and ran to the Zeta beam.

Artimis was the first person talk after the kiss to end all kisses.

"She is totally joining this team."
