Hoseok : come on kook eat something... You barely eat anything since yesterday

Since yesterday incident jungkook had become silent. He eat but not that much. Hoseok sigh for the 100th time.

He put the food away and look at Jungkook.

Hoseok : I don't care if you wish to die or whatever but not Infront of me... Go die after you are discharge..

He said mockingly. Jungkook finally show some reaction when he scoff.

Jungkook : you wouldn't let me do that

Hoseok : oh really? Why not?

Jungkook : cuz you love me~~~

Jungkook said finally smiling. Hoseok role his eyes

Hoseok : you wish... Now eat or else...

Jungkook : or else what?

Hoseok send him a glare. Jungkook widen his eyes and quickly shove his mouth with the food. Angry Hoseok isn't someone you wanna deal with...

Hoseok laugh seeing jungkook's fast reaction. Hoseok just look at him with soft look jungkook is his best friend.

He is not in jungkook's place but he understand what jungkook feel... Jungkook is a human after all...

Hoseok : you... Really don't want a mate?

Hearing Hoseok's words. Jungkook froze debating what he should said. He is confuse too... He don't want it but at the same time he crave for it. Jungkook let out a sigh.

Jungkook : I don't know hyung... I don't want a mate, fuck I don't even want a girlfriend. How come I want to have a life time partner? Lisa is a princess and the only child and heiress... I don't want to be apart of royalties family... I just want a very normal life. I want to be the best fighter. Give my siblings a happy life and be free...

Jungkook said calmly but deep down he is afraid, sad and confuse. Hoseok nod understanding.

Hoseok stop talking.... As he know that jungkook understand what Hoseok is trying to say. She is a princess anyway and that is already a one big ass trouble.

Jungkook are discharged and Lisa is back at the castle as she didn't dare to meet jungkook. Scared of being rejected

Just the thought of it made she wanted to cry. She just sigh and pretend as it was nothing to her.

Jungkook on the other side had been living a normal life as usual. No one talk about what happen, surprising jungkook and cause him to wonder if he went overboard

Its holiday so jungkook decide to spend the time all by himself after visiting his step family last night.

Usually he will spend the holiday, with them but this time he don't think like it. His mind is clouded with a lot of thought and none of it are helping to ease his storming heart

Jungkook just walk around the park wearing his black hoodie with his hood covering his head. Jungkook keep sighing.

Why did he feel guilty? He don't know. He have the right to speak about that mate thing. He is not a werewolf... He can't feel the bond.

He stop walking and let out a long frustrating sigh while looking down. He flinch when he heard an old man's voice.

Old man : something is troubling you...

Jungkook look at the old man. He know him tho, he live in the neighbourhood too. Jungkook greet him sometime. Jungkook sigh and nod.

Jungkook : yeah... A lot of things happen...

The old man laugh.

Old man : there's one thing among all the things that happen that seem confusing to you.

Jungkook look at the old man, widening his eyes a little. Wondering how the old man knew. He is confuse about one thing.

Old man : if you love someone because of their looks it's obsession.

Old man : if you love someone because of their charm it's attraction

Old man : if you love someone because of their personality it's admiration.

Old man : if you love someone because of money it's interest

Old man : but kid, if you are confuse why you love that person, it's definitely love.

Jungkook frown not understanding what the old man is saying. Love? What does it have to do with him.

Jungkook : what does it-

As Jungkook look up to the old man to ask he is gone. Jungkook look around, frowning. Where did he go?

Jungkook get confuse. He soon sigh and shrug his thought guessing that he is just imagining things.

After a while he decide to go back home not forgetting to by some soju on his way back.

Little did he know that a pair of eyes is watching him.

???(1): it's him?

???(2): positive.

???(1): he's human.

???(2): he have the necklace.

???(1): fine, now what?

???(2): let's return to the HQ first.

- THE NEXT DAY -

Hoseok : JuNGkOoK ah~~~~

Hoseok jump inside jungkook's apartment like a kid who just got his lollipop with namjoon and y/n who are following from behind.

As they walk to the living room, Hoseok jump and let out a high pitch scream. Namjoon quickly catch him and y/n suddenly get startled and ready to fight.

Hoseok : GHOST!!!!!

Namjoon and y/n look at each other and frowning. They look back at the living room There he is, jungkook.

Laying upside down on the couch a bottle of Soju on the table. Pizza everywhere with around 2 boxes of strawberry ice-cream. NETFLIX on the TV.

Jungkook is not any better. He is laying upside down. His face with eye bags... With one glance he really look like a ghost. He look like a heartbroken teenager right now.

Y/n scrunch her face in disgust. She walk towards jungkook sassily and push him off the couch with her legs. Jungkook groan as he fall to the ground.

He rub his back and glare at whoever that kick him down. He saw y/n and frown.

Jungkook : what was that for??? Why is all women is hitting me???

He ask irritated. Y/n shrug and sit on the couch while crossing her leg. Namjoon put Hoseok down and Hoseok hug jungkook who just mumble grumpily

Then jungkook just sit on the ground and at stare at them. They give Jungkook a 'what?' look as jungkook just shrug.

Jungkook : what bring you here?

He ask while taking a bite of one of the pizza. They look at each other.

Namjoon : what? We can't come visit my cousin?

Hoseok : yeah, can't I visit my best friend?

Y/n roll her eyes. Jungkook scoff. He is not in the mood. He is still a bit drunk and his head is throbbing. He is not feeling well.

Jungkook : cut the bullshit. I'm not in the mood.

Jungkook took his Soju and was about to finish the last sip. Y/n snatch the drink and finish in one go.

Jungkook look at her and sigh looking away lazily. Y/n throw the bottle away and sigh. She hate the fact jungkook are like this.

She want to punch jungkook in the face. We him up from his stupid life that meant nothing.

Y/n : yah... You need to stop drinking you know??? Go and train. You didn't train for two weeks already. Drinking like a beggar.

Jungkook snap his neck to y/n as they exchange glares. Y/n is daring and jungkook is stubborn. Plus none of them is in the mood to joke around.

Namjoon sigh and Hoseok shake his head. Jungkook look away and scoff.

Jungkook : why do you care? This is my life. I can live it however I feel like I wanted too.

Y/n sigh in defeat. Jungkook is very stubborn. If you can make him listen you are very powerful and respected.

Y/n : fine. We came here to give you this.

Y/n show jungkook a letter. Jungkook raise a brow and took it. He read it and soon let out a chuckle in disbelief.

Jungkook : what's the meaning of this?

It's a letter from the werewolves kingdom. They want jungkook to spent a week at their palace as Lisa's mate. Just a week.

Than he can make a decision whether he accept Lisa as his love life and soulmate or no.

Hoseok : jungkook-ah... Listen to me. You need this. Please do it. Lisa is a princess. The only heiress of the throne. If you are not by her side or reject her, the werewolves world will crumble. Which mean human world will be exposed to evil being.

Namjoon : we didn't ask you to accept her. But we just want you to try. And let yourself choose what you want.

Y/n : jungkook-ah. We understand. You are not a werewolf. You don't know the feeling to have your mate by your side. We don't know how Lisa's mate is a human but we do know that you are capable enough to defend her like what an alpha should.

Namjoon : please jungkook-ah. Please try...

They pleaded. Jungkook look down, somehow feeling scared. Scared that he fall in love. Why? He don't know.

Jungkook :what if I fail?

He stutter out. He look at them with tears in his eyes.

Jungkook : what if I don't love her back and reject her?

Y/n let out a sad smile.

Y/n : then, it's not your fault.

Jungkook gulp and stare at them before looking down. He let out a sigh and slowly nod

Jungkook : alright I give it a try...
