AFTER A LONG NIGHT OF EXPLORING underground, himari was once again woken up by the voice of the annoying gojō.
"himari-channnnn~ time to wake up for your birthday surprise that we didn't get to show you last night", gojō cooed, poking the woman's cheek, as himari had attempted to slap the man's hand away.
"stoppppp!! I'm tired after exerting my big brain last night...five more minutes", himari slurred, not even caring about her drool that had pooled onto her expensive pillow case.
gojō just lowly chuckled, leaning in close to the woman's ear, as he whispered.
"if you don't get up, I'm going to tickle you", the man threatened.
"do it, coward", himari retorted, to which she had immediately regretted saying that, as she felt a pair of hands tickle her sides.
"I—STOP! GOJŌ S-SATORU...WHY'RE YOU L-LIKE THIS!!", himari laughed, aggressively kicking her legs, as she flailed her arms in a sporadic manner.
"YOU CALLED ME A COWARD!"
"OKAY BUT—"
"it's payback for that time that you got tōji to stab me", gojō huffed, tickling the woman even more, as himari felt her breathing become more scarce.
"p-please!! I'm sorryyyy!!", himari cried, to which gojō had grinned, stopping momentarily.
"will you get out of bed now?"
"yes", himari answered. "but not until you let me sleep for five more minutes", the red-haired woman bargained, pulling gojō onto his side, as she snuggled up against the man.
with himari's face planted onto gojō's chest, the white-haired male made no attempt to move, as he very much enjoyed the closeness from himari.
"fine...only five more minutes", gojō muttered.
"hm~ that's what I thought", himari smiled, feeling gojō's hand comb through the roots of her hair.
"THE HELL TOOK YOU TWO SO LONG?!", sukuna yelled, clearly irritated by himari and gojō's lateness.
"well SOMEBODY didn't want to get out of bed", gojō snorted.
"I SAID FIVE MORE MINUTES!"
"AND FIVE MINUTES TURNED INTO AN HOUR! SO WHO'S FAULT IS THAT?!"
"PLEASE! DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DIDN'T SLEEP WITH ME", himari retorted, to which random people who were on the streets had gasped, covering their mouths, as they hurried their children away.
"himari, you—"
"no, no I didn't! I-I mean we didn't! I misspoke. my b, my b".
"mah~ no need to hide it anymor—"
"shut up satoru. nothing happened. we just napped together", himari huffed.
"and she drooled on me. yuck", gojō teased, to which getō had just smiled, holding onto one of himari's hand.
"anyways, since we weren't able to serenade himari yesterday, we shall today. are you ready to head to our first location?", getō asked.
"uhhh sure??"
"great! now close your eyes and no peeking", getō instructed, to which she had felt tōji hold her other hand, as the other two led the way.
after many fucking turns, himari was brought to a clothing store, where a kind woman had greeted them.
"welcome! is it the reservation for...", the old woman hesitated, glancing over at gojō, who was standing behind himari and giving the store owner a thumbs up.
"huh? what's going o—ACK!!"
immediately, himari was dragged off into another section of the store — specifically the changing room for females.
meanwhile the four men had gotten changed themselves, himari was forced into an outfit that she hasn't seen since when she had reincarnated here.
"a...dress?"
indeed, as himari had walked out in some flats and a silky blue dress with puffy long sleeves, she nearly experienced a heart attack, as she saw the four men in suits — the exact ones that she had sketched for fun one night.
"wha—how did you guys...."
"tōji-san helped steal your drawings so that we could have these outfits custom made right before your birthday", getō explained.
"we hope you don't mind", the man added on.
"I—"
"you shouldn't mind, because you know why? it took us three damn weeks to find a store that was willing to make this shit!", sukuna huffed, struggling to tie the tie, as himari just snorted.
"it's supposed to be like this", himari instructed, fixing all of their suits a bit, as she still could not get past how utterly attractive they all were.
"well? do you like it?", gojō asked, grinning, as the man was indeed feeling himself.
"yes...very much so", himari smiled, to which the woman was then led outside, with many stares and weird glances casted their way.
"now, it's time to shop lavishly! anything you see that you like, will be on us — well, me", gojō proudly declared.
"does that include men?"
gojō then frowned, slightly pouting.
"that's not a funny joke, himari-chan".
himari just chuckled, as the five strolled down the street in their fancy new outfits, mostly buying food, since himari didn't really need much in the first place.
around evening, the four had then led himari towards a field with many red lanterns still up from the moon festival.
a blanket was laid out in the center, as desserts were also prepared.
"holy shit! y'all really put in a lot of effort for this huh?", himari marveled, hastily taking a seat, as she started munching on some daifuku.
"ah yes, you're welcome", sukuna mockingly stated, to which himari had just bashfully chuckled.
"thank you~"
getō then took a seat beside himari, as the other situated themselves as well, enjoying the silence.
that is, until fireworks had started bursting up into the air, as the moon was now waning in the night sky.
"damn...how did you guys know?"
"tōji-san also stole your notes on how to make fireworks", getō smiled, to which the auburn-haired woman had raised a brow at the male with a scarred lip.
"don't look at me. it was all that daimyo's idea", tōji huffed.
himari then glanced over at gojō.
"mah, mah~ it wasn't just all me! suguru and sukuna had their fair share of it as well", gojō blamed.
"tch. I didn't want to do any of this in the first place", sukuna defended.
"oho? so you didn't want himari-chan to feel like she was back at her world? how cruel", gojō teased, to which sukuna had nearly poked the man's eyes out, if it weren't for himari intervening.
"wait wait wait, what now? what about feeling like I'm back at my world?"
getō just embarrassingly smiled.
"well...we thought that maybe you missed your old home...so we tried to recreate that as best as possible", getō explained.
"and we remembered you saying something about opening a dress shop or something", tōji chimed in.
"I'm pretty sure it was sweatpants but okay go on".
"and we thought that the fireworks would be a nice touch", gojō stated.
"so in conclusion...", sukuna started.
"we all wish you a happy birthday, himari".
