After Amelia and I arrived at the paddock on this sunny Friday we walked to the paddock. Amelia scanned her pass before I did. She turned around and looked at me. A smile visible on her face even tho she wore a McLaren mask just like I did. I took her left hand in mine and laid my right arm over her shoulders making her left hand go to her right shoulder. I pressed our faces together gently.

Lando: "ready for the day?"

Amelia: "well I don't to drive a fast car so are you?"

Lando: "oh I am!"

Amelia: "good."

We walked to the hospitality where I dropped my backpack in my drivers room before we walked out to the paddock.

Carlos: "Landooo!"

Lando: "Carloooooosssssss!"

I let go off Amelia and exchanged a bro's hug with the Spanish guy. I said hi to Isa who had joined him this weekend just like Amelia.

Lando: "oh Carlos. This is Amelia. The girl I told you about... my girlfriend."

Carlos: "ah nice to meet the girl who dares it. Carlos Sainz. Second driver for scuderia ferrari."

Amelia: "Amelia Huijgberts. International show jumper and horse trainer."

Carlos: "he's talked a lot about you."

Amelia: "has he?"

Carlos: "every time we spoke since you guess met."

Lando: "don't expose me."

Carlos: "oh this is Isa. My girlfriend."

Isa waved softly to Amelia and said a simple hi to her. They chatted for a little while Carlos and I were drowned in a conversation ourselves. After a few more minutes Carlos was called by his PT and returned to the garage with Isa.

Amelia: "nice people."

Lando: "yea?"

Amelia: "yea."

I chuckled softly as we walked into the garage to greet some of the people. Amelia walked to Daniel who had already spotted my girl and waved her over. I greeted my engineers, mechanics and other people from the team. I walked to Daniel's half of the garage where I saw Amelia and Daniel do a hand shake while the McLaren admin was filming it with the admin phone and camera. They both cheered for their selves when they finished. They laughed together as I leaned against the wall and smiled at the sight of Amelia who had easily found her place of the team. She turned her head towards me and waved softly. I sat down at the pit wall and talked for a while. I had stolen back my sunglasses and looked around the pit lane seeing Amelia film me shortly with a chuckle. A notification made my phone vibrate which I opened shortly after.

I laughed softly before jumping off the chair and jogging to Amelia wrapping my arms around her back and picking her off the ground. She pulled her legs up as she squealed softly. I placed her down again with a smile on my face. She turned around and shook her head softly. I pulled both of our masks down and pushed a kiss on her lips. She pulled our masks back again afterwards and looked at me a little sterner.

Amelia: "keep the mask up mister. I can't deal with covid in my schedules."

Lando: "sorry ma'am."

I erased my hands from her hips as I took her hand in mine and leaded her thru the halls to my drivers room. I closed the door behind her and we both pulled out masks off. She placed it around her wrist like a bracelet. I placed her against the wall with her back as my hands rested on her hips while hers rested around my neck. She smiled at me gently as she blinked her eyes from time to time.

Lando: "you know... this turns me on badly."

Amelia: "I'm not even doing anything."

Lando: "exactly."

Amelia: "so your saying that doing nothing is turning you on?"

Lando: "everything you do turns me on..."

She giggled softly as she placed a kiss on my lips.

Amelia: "you need to get changed Lan."

Lando: "one... more... kiss."

She shook her head before climbing out underneath my arms. She opened the door and winked as she placed her mask on and walked out.

Lando: "hey come back!"

Amelia: "your getting one when your done changing okay? Don't care if you want it or not."

Lando: "your mean."

Amelia: "I'm getting you ready on time. There's a difference baby."

I quickly changed myself and peaked my head outside of my room looking thru the corridors as Daniel walked towards his room to change.

Daniel: "she's outside on the bench."

Lando: "thnx Daniel."

I closed my door while holding my water bottle and pulling my mask on. I walked outside and saw Amelia sitting in the sun. I pulled her mask down as well as mine. I pecked her lips and smiled at her widely. Like a toddler who got some candy.

Amelia: "don't look so darn happy you idiot."

Lando: "so now I'm an idiot."

Amelia: "a happy idiot."

She stood up and squinted her eyes against the sun before bringing her hand up and letting it make a shadow in front of her eyes. I had a quick warm up before walking to the garage where Amelia had already found her seat and headset. I pushed my McLaren cap on her head as I walked around the chair. I leaned my hands on the armrests as she looked up at me.

Lando: "do I get a good luck kiss?"

Amelia: "you don't need one."

Lando: "a drive safe kiss?"

Amelia: "don't think you need a kiss to drive safe."

Lando: "can I just get a kiss before I get in the car?"

Amelia: "mmmm..."

Lando: "oh come on."

She giggled softly before pulling our masks down a little and placing a gentle kiss on my lips as I leaned down to meet her lips. She pulled the masks up again quickly afterwards before ruffling my hair a little. I went to my helmet ect and pulled everything on correctly. I looked around the garage before climbing into the car. I got secured with the seatbelts before I drove out of the garage. The session was over sooner then I had hoped and I drove into the pits. They rolled me inside and helped me climb out. I pulled my helmet off and talked with my engineers, mechanics and strategists. After 10 minutes I looked around the garage. Where's Amelia? I walked to Charlotte and asked her.

Charlotte: "she's at the Ferrari garage. Carlos needed help with something."

I walked out of the McLaren garage and to the Ferrari garage. Carlos saw me and let me in.

Carlos: "Isa asked me to get Amelia. I don't know what's wrong."

Lando: "well I guess we will find out soon."

A head peaked around the corner from the woman's restroom. Amelia looked around and found our faces looking at her questioning.

Amelia: "Lando?"

Lando: "yea?"

Amelia: "you brought that extra pair of sweatpants didn't you?"

Lando: "no..."

Amelia: "Wieso nicht jetzt..." (why not now...)

She sight and looked around thinking. She looked at me again and scanned me.

Amelia: "hoodie. Can I borrow it?"

Lando: "uhm... yea?"

I pulled it out over my head leaving me in my racing suit and fire proof shirt. I handed it to Amelia and she closed the door again behind her. After a few seconds she walked out in my hoodie.

Lando: "where is your hoodie?"

Amelia: "there."

She nodded to Isa who had Amelia's hoodie wrapped around her waist. The black hoodie made the white jeans stand out a little more in combination with her red shirt.

Carlos: "why do you have Amelia's hoodie?"

Isa: "I got my period..."

Lando: "I still don't get it."

Amelia: "she leaked thru so to cover it up I placed my hoodie around her waist. Got it?"

Lando: "ahhh... in that way."

She slapped the back of my head before we walked out of the hospitality and back to our own one.

Lando: "McLaren hoodies look good on you."

Amelia: "oeh. Dangerous thing to say Norris."

Lando: "why?"

Amelia: "because now I'll steal them."

Lando: "no! Your borrowing them."

Amelia: "that's what you said about that black hoodie too..."

Lando: "was that mine?"

Amelia: "maybe..."

Lando: "no wait what? It was?"

Amelia: "yes."

Lando: "for real?"

Amelia: "yes Lando."

I looked at her a little shocked. She giggled softly before I closed the door of the drivers room behind us. I sat down on the couch and opened my arms for Amelia. I had my feet stretched out onto the chair in front of me while Amelia laid out on the couch with her knees pulled a little as it was to small to stretch out her legs. Her head laid in my lap as my fingers gently played with some strands of her light brown hair. My cap laid on her stomach as she was pulling the skin around her nails like she always did when she was thinking.

Lando: "what are you thinking about love?"

Amelia: "what I need to prepare for the Olympics. I can't take Fabi do I'll take Quince as he's the reserve horse for me but I'll need to train some harder and more with him as well as order some stuff which is gonna be tight..."

Lando: "tight as in money?"

Amelia: "yea... I'll have some spare but not a lot. Don't worry about it tho."

Lando: "just tell me when I can help a little okay? In anything..."

Amelia: "you don't need too."

She gave my lips a small peck before resting her head against my chest as my arms were keeping her close to me.

Amelia: "you've got all white little fluffs in your hair. How did you do that?"

She sat up and gently started picking them out of my hair gently. She threw it in the bin before sitting down next to me.
