𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗬-𝗢𝗡𝗘

This chapter leads up into the next 2 final chapters, so be warned

These 3 chapters are probably the most important ones in the whole fanfic so I'd pay attention to them

Have fun and enjoy!

The walk to the medbay was silent and awkward. Ahsoka dragged her feet, creating fantasies in her head where Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Rex might give her what she deserved for all the awful things she did. Maybe they'd get mad and send her off back to Dooku. Or maybe she'd be framed for bombing the Jedi Temple by someone close to her, and everyone will lose trust in her. Or maybe they'd kill her on the spot. It was all what she deserved

When they all made it to the medbay, no one was there. Not even Coric or a shiny hurt from their first battle.

Rex sat on one of the medical beds; it was on the right, closest to the exit. There were six in total. Ahsoka sat in the one on the right, all the way in the corner with the broken light flickering above it. Anakin sat on one on the left, closest to the left, while Obi-Wan sat on one on the left in the middle.

"So, what do we do now?" Anakin said, confused.

"We talk." Obi-Wan decided. He looked at Ahsoka. "First, is there anything important we should know?"

Ahsoka paused, thinking through things. There was what Darth Sidious was planning, who Darth Sidious was, and what Darth Sidious wanted. Not that telling them what Sidious wanted would do them any good. He held all the cards, and he was certainly more than willing to use them.

"Well, there are three things." Ahsoka admitted.

"What's the best way to explain it?" Obi-Wan asked.

Ahsoka hesitated, taking a deep breath to calm herself. "If I told you what happened after I fell off the train."

There was a moment of silence. No one dared move. The one question that haunted everyone's mind hung in the air.

"Would you be willing to share, sir?" Rex coughed, clearly uncomfortable with asking.

Ahsoka hesitated again. Was she ready? Was she finally okay with admitting what happened? No, she wasn't. "I-I can't." She said through gritted teeth. She felt bad for not wanting to tell them, but she just couldn't. It would be too hard. The amount of pain—

"I see." Anakin murmured. "Could you explain the important things without explaining what happened?"

"Probably." Ahsoka decided. "Darth Sidious wants to take over the galaxy."

"Is...is that it?" Rex questioned.

"No." Ahsoka replied.

"Are you going to share anything else?" Obi-Wan asked.

"No." Ahsoka shrugged. Part of her wanted to reveal who Sidious was, but if she knew Anakin, he would react violently at the news. It was a risk she wasn't willing to take.

Everyone else nodded a bit.

So this got nowhere. Ahsoka sighed inside her head.

"What do you think Dooku and Sidious will do once they discover what happened?" Obi-Wan wondered.

Ahsoka shrugged. "I imagine they'll send people to find me, and bring me back to them. There's probably a tracker in my arm. People probably have already been sent out."

"We won't let that happen." Anakin declared confidently.

"You won't have a choice. Sidious has powerful allies, as does Dooku. They won't give up easily." Ahsoka said calmly.

"You aren't going back to them, Commander." Rex said, determined.

Ahsoka sighed. "We'll see." She looked at the rest of them. Their faces held stern looks, but their eyes were filled with guilt and pity. She wanted to roll her eyes at it. She didn't need pity from anyone, much less people she tried to kill. Even if she did used to know them, pity was something she didn't need. It was the last thing she needed.

"So this has gotten nowhere." Obi-Wan commented.

"No, you can drop me off on a random planet." Ahsoka offered. "I'll manage and you won't have to worry about Sidious or Dooku following you."

Anakin shook his head. "No, we're not going to leave you."

"It would be better for everyone if you did." Ahsoka said through gritted teeth.

Before anyone could respond, the ship shook and a clone ran into the room. "Sir, we're being attacked by Separatists!"

Shit. They're already here. Ahsoka swore. "That's probably them now."

"Rex, stay with Ahsoka while Obi-Wan and I deal with this." Anakin ordered.

"But—" Rex protested.

"Now." Anakin seemed slightly irritated. He was probably just being overprotective again.

Obi-Wan tried to give the two of them a reassuring smile as he left with Anakin and the clone from before.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes. "I'm not staying here."

Rex nodded in agreement. "I'm not planning to sit here and wait for dead bodies to show up. I say we go to the bridge. My men will support us."

"Let's go." Ahsoka agreed.

...

When the two of them made it to the bridge, they saw a huge Separatist command ship firing on them. They saw vulture droids and starships blowing each other up with cries in the Force. Ahsoka forgot how much she hated battle.

"I told you two to stay back!" Anakin seemed annoyed.

"Yes, well good soldiers don't always follow orders." Rex shrugged carelessly. "This is Count Dooku attacking us. You'll need all the help you can get."

Anakin rolled his eyes but didn't do anything more to stop them.

"Sir, two Separatist shuttles have breached the hangar." A clone said from his station.

"Send a squad of clones to lock the hangar down." Anakin ordered. "We can't let any droids get in."

The clone nodded and repeated his orders to the squad he would send down there.

After a few minutes, the security feed began to show B1 and B2 battle droids. There were even some droidekas too. They were all killing every single clone in their way.

Force, this is bad. Ahsoka thought to herself. At least there are no actual people with the Separatists.

Just as that thought left her mind, a cloaked figure began walking with the droids on the security cameras. He looked about as tall as Count Dooku and had the same lightsaber as him too. He was probably Count Dooku.

"We need to go out there and fight them." Rex snarled. He probably didn't like seeing his brothers slaughtered like that.

Ahsoka resisted the urge to agree. That figure was coming for her. And that figure was probably also Count Dooku. Force, she felt nauseous. Maybe if she could just leave the whole war behind, she'd be okay. The war is the reason she got brainwashed, anyway. She was on a mission for the war and then she fell off the train. Then of course, she lost her arm and got brainwashed.

"Sir, I can't sit here and watch my brothers die. I need to fight their killer." Rex said angrily.

"I won't stop you." Anakin said. "But let me come with you. They're my men too."

Rex smiled. "Thank you, sir."

"Let's go." Anakin declared. He and Rex walked out of the room.

A huge pit opened up in Ahsoka's stomach. This is a bad idea.

...

Sidious watched the Separatist ship exit hyperspace as the Resolute entered his view. It seemed installing a tracker into Tano's arm was a good idea after all.

Dooku walked up to him. "What would you like me to do, Master?"

Sidious rolled his eyes at the amount of suck up Dooku held in his voice. He leaned over and whispered the plan into his apprentice's ear.

"Of course, Master." Dooku nodded.

"Do not let a single one of them get out." Sidious ordered.

Dooku smirked in response.

So yeah this leads into the next two chapters which you will undoubtedly hate me for

Im guessing I'm going to lose at least 5 followers for the next two chapters so Im preparing myself

This work is my own. I wrote everything. I did not create any of the characters or the setting, and the plot is based off of the Winter Soldier. If anyone steals/edits this, I will be sad

You may have noticed I took this fanfic off ao3. I was having difficulty updating it there, so I took it off, sorry

Have a good day/night or time on an alien planet
