"Uncle Padfoot!"
"Little Caelum!"
Sirius Black and Blair shared a hug as Blake chuckled at their dramatics.
How did the Woody Woods become the refuge of Sirius Black, fugitive on the run?
Apparently, back during their school days, the Woods and Blacks had a great relationship (though the Woods didn't agree with the Blacks' views, and the Woods just continued the relationship due to respect for their ancestors) and seeing that Sirius wasn't like the rest of the Blacks, Blake had become fast friends with him. During their Hogwarts years, Blake was close friends with the Marauders. On the other hand, Olivia was one of Lily's closest friends. When Blair was born, Sirius Black was named Blair's godfather while Lily Potter was named her godmother.
But everything changed on the night Voldemort killed James and Lily Potter, and before they all knew it, Sirius was being blamed for betraying James and Lily, breaking the hearts of Blake, Olivia, and Remus.
However, finally, after the events of Blair's third year, the truth came out. Remus Lupin, Blair's broody uncle and former DADA professor, brought Sirius to the Woody Woods and explained everything. How it was actually Peter Pettigrew that actually betrayed them all and how Sirius was innocent after all this time.
So, after a tearful reunion and endless apologies between Blake and Sirius and Olivia, the Woods agreed to let Sirius stay at their home while Remus was out on a mission for Dumbledore. Honestly, Blair was just amazed that Snuffles, the big, black dog she and the Prancers had been caring for this entire year was actually Sirius all this time. She was also immensely happy that she now had a new uncle in Sirius.
Blake checked the time. "I have to go to the ministry. Will you two be fine here?"
"Yes, Dad." The two simultaneously answered and giggled.
Blake rolled his eyes before bidding farewell. Blair and Sirius spent the day, playing Quidditch in the Woods' backyard, catching themselves up and even telling stories about their school days.
Blair's face suddenly lit up as she remembered something. "Uncle Sirius. You were quite the ladies' man back in your day, weren't you?"
An amused smile made its way onto Sirius' face. "Well... Not just the ladies, Little B. But why?"
Blair grinned at his response. "You see, Uncle Padfoot. There's someone I like. She's-"
"Hermione Granger?"
Blair's jaw dropped open. "H-How did you know? Did you read my mind?"
Sirius let out a bark of laughter at that. "It's obvious, Blair. Even the blindest man in the world would see how much you adore her."
Blair pouted at his answer before smiling again. "Uncle Sirius, I really do like her. Godric, the way she smiles, the way she laughs, the way she'd tell me off for every idiotic thing I'd do. Everything about her is just so..."
Sirius was amused at how lovestruck his goddaughter was. "So?"
"It's just so Hermione Granger, and bloody hell, even when she rejects me, I still manage to fall for her even more. What should I do, Uncle Padfoot? What should I do to finally make her give me a chance?"
The sad look on Blair's face made Sirius' heart break a little. Sirius smiled softly and wrapped an arm around his goddaughter's shoulders. "You know what, Little B? I remember someone whenever I look at you."
Blair looked confused. "Really? Who?"
"Prongs." Sirius looked down sadly.
Blair looked surprised. "Uncle James? Why?"
Sirius started laughing at the memory. "Did you know? He would always run after Harry's mother, Lily. He would ask her out, only to be turned down every time. Lily would say, "I'd rather go out with the giant squid, you arrogant toerag!" And James would always be dejected, only to wake up the next day and get at it again. I think James' persistence eventually softened Lily's heart because one day, Lily finally said yes. Well, the fact that he changed and became more mature was a reason too. James was so nervous that he couldn't sleep, but the date turned out well and turned into more until Lily finally agreed to be his girlfriend."
Blair's eyes widened in amazement. "Uncle Prongs is amazing. So, should I be like him? But ugh, that means I'd have to look like Harry."
Sirius laughed loudly and looked her in the eyes. "What I meant was stay who you are. Be the Blair Wood you are, and one day, Hermione will finally see the amazing witch you are."
Blair hugged Sirius tight. "Thank you, Uncle Padfoot. I will... Also, when you meant not just the ladies, did you mean Uncle Mo -"
"I'm home." Oliver announced as he entered the house still in his Puddlemere United Quidditch robes while Sirius thanked Merlin above for the Keeper and his timing. Then, from the house, Oliver entered the backyard with his arms crossed. "I can't believe you're playing Quidditch without me."
"You really eat, live, and breathe Quidditch." Blair shook her head in exasperation.
"You and me against Caelum. What do you say, Olli?" Sirius took another broom from the Woods' storage and handed it to Oliver.
"You're on, Uncle Siri." Oliver mounted the broom with a smile. "Beebee, try and get a goal past me."
"Oh, I'll get 10 goals past you." Blair rolled her eyes playfully. "I can fly circles around both of you - Hey!"
"Never let your guard down, Little B!" Sirius yelled out as he and Oliver kicked off their brooms and flew up into the sky, a cheeky grin on their faces while Blair was left pouting on the ground.
"You're gonna regret that, old man!"
βββββ ββ ββ β βββββ
After a few days, Sirius finally bid farewell to the Wood family and started his journey to the North. On the other hand, Blair was excited because an old friend of their family would be coming and starting her up for an internship at the Ministry at the request of her mother.
Olivia fixed Blair's hair and smiled. "My little Blair is all grown up. I still remember dropping you off at the Hogwarts Express for the first time as if it were yesterday."
Blair grumbled and ruffled her hair. "Mum. I'll be fine. Don't worry about me."
Suddenly, knocks were heard on the door. Olivia stood up. "That must be him."
Blair calmed her nerves down with a deep breath as Olivia greeted the man at the door. "Alastor! Come in."
"Olivia. You still haven't learned. Don't put your wand in your pocket. You never know when you'd lose a buttock." The man grumbled as his magical blue eye roamed around before it settled on Blair. "Are you the little cub?"
Blair nodded meekly before clearing her throat and smiling. "Hi, Mister Alastor. I'm Blair Wood."
Moody looked at her with a steel gaze before he nodded at her. "Sure, kid. Come on then. We haven't got all day."
"Take care, Blair." Olivia gave Blair one last hug before glaring at Moody. "Alastor, if I see a scratch-"
"You'll know she's learned. Come on, kid." Alastor went in the fire first and took some Floo powder. "The Ministry of Magic."
"Bye, Mum." Blair waved goodbye to her mum before taking some Floo powder and going into the fire herself. "The Ministry of Magic."
As her feet came on steady ground, Blair looked around in amazement. She had only been at the Ministry once, and seeing it now made her desire to work as an Auror grow even more. She could totally imagine her life here.
Moody placed a hand on her shoulder. "Come on, kid. We'll start training."
Blair followed him, still in awe of the whole place. Moody suddenly stopped, making Blair bump into him and fall to the floor.
"Ow!" Blair blushed as she saw the Aurors looking at her and immediately stood up.
Moody looked over at them. "We have a guest today and for the rest of the summer. This is Blair Wood. Now, I want to test her and you trainees as well."
Moody turned to Blair. "Do you have any experience in dueling?"
Blair thought about the dueling club that Lockhart set up in second year and hesitantly nodded. "I-I guess so?"
Moody gave a grunt of approval before looking around. "Tonks! Come up here."
A purple-haired girl who was shorter than Blair came up and waved at her. Blair waved back.
Moody led them to opposite ends of the room. "Now, see here, you lot. Let's test the power of a fourth year and the experience of an Auror-in-training."
Blair's eyes widened. Did he expect her to duel a woman who looked 7 years older than her? But nonetheless, despite all her nerves, Blair bowed as taught by Lockhart and readied her wand.
For a few seconds, nobody moved. Then, Tonks moved her wand. "Stupefy!"
In her panic, Blair raised her wandless hand and thought of making a shield appear in front of her, and it came just in time to minimize the impact from Tonks' spell, making it push her back just a little. Everybody in the room was surprised for two reasons: this little, upcoming fourth year did wandless and nonverbal magic, and she did it with an advanced spell, Protego, at that.
"Never let your guard down." Blair whispered with a sly smile upon seeing their surprise, and she took advantage of Tonks' distraction. She moved this time with a newfound confidence. "Rictusempra."
Tonks managed to dodge it, but it just set her up for what Blair was aiming to do. As Tonks was distracted with the Tickling Charm, Blair cast another spell. "Ventus!" A violent gust of wind came from Blair's wand and literally swept Tonks off her feet, making the Auror fall to the ground.
Everyone was surprised to see Tonks, the best in their year, being beaten by a fourth year, and in a quick match too. Blair smiled victoriously but yelped as Tonks' hair changed into a shade of blue. "W-What? Your hair!"
They all burst out laughing as Tonks stood up and walked closer to Blair. "I'm a Metamorphmagus. I can change my appearance at will." A look of amazement made its way onto Blair's face.
Moody came up to her, chuckling and clapping a hand onto Blair's shoulder. "Your mother was right, she was. You really are different, Wood."
"So, I won't be one of those who lose their buttocks?"
Blair's comment made Moody let out a carefree laugh. "Probably not. Well, Blair Wood. Your training starts now."
And Blair smiled widely. It was going to be a great summer, and she was one step closer to her dreams. Blair's thoughts went to Sirius' words about never giving up and naturally to Hermione Granger. If possible, her smile became even wider. Yeah, she was definitely getting closer to her dreams.
βββββ ββ ββ β βββββ
Blair smiled sadly at the people in front of her. It was the last day of her training since she would soon be going to the Quidditch World Cup with her friends. Sure, she was happy to see them again, but she couldn't deny that she definitely got attached to the people she trained with this summer, that she gained a new set of friends in these Aurors.
People passed by her to hug her and shake her hand, giving her advice and encouragements about Hermione Granger who she talked about endlessly this entire summer. Then, there were three people were left. Kingsley Shacklebolt, Nymphadora Tonks and Alastor Moody.
Kingsley ruffled her hair affectionately. "See you next summer, little B. We'd be happy to whisk you away from Hogwarts and bring you into our team."
Blair chuckled at that. "If I get expelled due to all the trouble I get myself into, will you accept me then?"
Kingsley chuckled, amused. "Sure, you've got a spot here. Take care, little B."
"You too, Kingsley." Kingsley and Blair shared a quick hug before Kingsley left.
This time, Blair turned to Tonks and was surprised to see Tonks' eyes fill with tears. Tonks immediately brought her into a tight hug. "Take care, Blair. You're like the little sister I never had. So, you better be fine."
Blair hugged her back, just as tight while blinking her own tears away. "Oh, Dora. I'll be fine. What's life without a little risk? Maybe, this time, we'll get to fight some vampires or even become vampires. Now, that's a - Ow!"
Tonks started hitting the Chaser for the idiotic and dangerous plans she had. "Can't you just stay out of trouble for once?"
"Says the person who tried to blow up the Hufflepuff Common Room once." Blair teased Tonks who seemed like she wanted to hit Blair again but stopped when Blair patted her on the shoulder. "I'll be fine. I always am."
Tonks gave her one last hug and an exasperated look. "What's the point? Just take care."
"No promises." Blair grinned at her before turning to Moody.
Moody took her into a hug. "Now, little B. Remember-"
"Let's do it together."
Moody rolled his eyes at Blair's cheeky smile but gave into his star pupil. "Ready? 1, 2, 3."
"Constant vigilance!" The two shouted out together.
Then, Moody uncharacteristically gave her a soft smile. "Remember what we've taught you, alright? You'll be fine, Wood. You've got something they don't have. Purity. I have never met someone with such a pure heart and such pure magic."
"Thank you, Mr. Alastor. I've had a really fun time. I'll see you soon." Blair bid goodbye to Moody and Tonks before going into the fire and taking some Floo powder.
"The Woody Woods!"
Blair got out from the fireplace and was attacked by the hug of her mother. "My Blair."
"Missed me, Mum?" Blair couldn't help but tease her mother though she let herself relax in the embrace. She missed her Mum greatly.
Olivia was surprised to see how her little girl had grown after a month of training. Sure, Quidditch kept her body in good condition, and she was undoubtedly blessed with looks that made her one of the most attractive people at Hogwarts. But Moody's training definitely made her body more fit, and her facial features became more defined. Girls and boys alike wouldn't be able to keep their eyes off Blair Wood.
"Oh, you. My dear, you will be quite a head turner this year. Be careful, alright?"
Blair furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What do you mean, mum? Whose head?"
"Never you mind, dear." Olivia smiled softly, leading them to sit at the couch. "How was your training?"
"It was great, Mum. Mister Alastor said that I am advanced for my age and that I'll be a great Auror one day!" Blair excitedly told her mother. "Thank you for letting me train this summer."
It was a good thing her daughter was oblivious as she completely missed the solemn look in Olivia's eyes before she painted a smile back on her face and fixed her daughter's hair. "I'm glad you enjoyed, dear."
"Mum!" Blair protested and ruffled her hair once more. "It looks better like this."
Olivia just chuckled before she stood up. "Oh, you better get ready, dear. You'll be staying at the Burrow for the rest of the summer, remember? Oliver's going away to train after the Quidditch World Cup while your father will be on a mission."
Blair groaned. As much as she missed her friends, she really wanted to spend time with her mother. "Do I have to? Can't I just stay here with you after the Cup, Mum?"
"I know you want to, my dear, but... there are some things I have to do, hmm?" Olivia's eyes softened then a smirk came onto her face. "Besides, you know who's in the Burrow, right?"
"Not you." Blair sulked, earning her a roll of the eyes from her mother at how dramatic her daughter was. Just like her father.
"The Weasleys, Harry, and..." Olivia paused a little. "Hermione."
The frown on Blair's face turned completely upside down. "Hermione's there? I'll go now, mum. Bye!"
Blair rushed up to her room and immediately started packing up. Amused at her daughter's actions, Olivia went to the kitchen. Sure, her Blair might turn heads of both boys and girls, but it was clear to her that the only one who ever mattered to her daughter was the one and only Hermione Granger.
After packing up, Blair fell onto her bed and smiled as she thought of Hermione. Even through training, Blair's mind always drifted off to her, and it made her long for the brightest witch of their age.
"Godric, I miss her." So, Blair decided to write a letter.
Dear Hermione, the love of my life,
Oh, and you too, Harry and Weasleys, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley,
I'll be coming to the Burrow after the Quidditch World Cup, and I'll be staying there for the rest of the summer. Oliver, Dad, and I will be coming to the site tomorrow, so I'll see you guys there. Also, I just finished my training today! I can't wait to see you guys. I miss you all. Tell me all about your summers tomorrow.
Love,
Blair
P.S. Granger. When would you like to get married?
P.S.S. My lovely Granger. Did you know? I Siriusly a-Dumbledore you.
P.S.S.S. Would you like to go out with me, Hermione Granger?
Blair smiled proudly as she sealed up her letter and gave it to her red owl, Herman. Of course, anyone who knew Blair knew why she named him that. "Herman, bring this to the Burrow, will you? They'll give you snacks there."
Herman hooted happily, took the letter and flew off. Blair watched him go before falling back on her bed. Though she was still sad to not be with her mother and the rest of their family for the summer, the joy of being with the Brightest Witch of their Age had definitely outweighed the sadness. She couldn't wait for the day of the Quidditch World Cup to come.
βββββ ββ ββ β βββββ
"Bloody hell!" Blair woke up as cold water ran down her face.
Oliver laughed at the sight of her, holding an empty glass in his hand. "Hurry up, will you? Dad's calling us."
Blair glared at him when he stuck out his tongue and went out of the room. "Oi! Oliver Leo Wood, come back here."
Shivering, Blair quickly took a shower and went down about to take revenge on Oliver when she remembered what the occasion was. "Godric, it's the Quidditch World Cup! Dad, Olli, I bet you that Ireland will win. They've got Troy."
Oliver scoffed at that. "But Bulgaria's got Krum."
"Wanna bet?"
"Fine."
The Wood siblings smirked at each other.
Blake shook his head at them, suddenly missing the presence of his wife who had left the day before. "Alright, let's go now, shall we? Hold on."
Blair held onto her father and brother's hands. She felt a tug then felt herself being squeezed through a rubber tube. It was a good thing that she had Apparated a few times before, so she didn't feel as queasy as she did on her first time. After a few moments, they appeared in what seemed to be a campsite. Blair looked around and saw tents supporting Bulgaria and Ireland. They had arrived.
Blair started jumping up and down. "Come on, Dad, Olli!"
Blake and Oliver led her to a tent, and Blair giggled and looked around. Magic never failed to amaze her.
Blake checked his watch. "Oliver, Blair. I have to go. You'll be fine, right?"
"Yes, Dad." Oliver and Blair answered in unison and let their Dad hug them.
"I'll see you two soon. Oliver, take care of your sister. Blair, stay out of trouble." Blake directed to his children before waving once more and Apparating away.
"You can go to your friends now, you know." Blair told her brother, knowing he wanted to spend time with them too.
Oliver just smiled. "It's okay, Beebee. I'll go to my friends when the Weasleys are here."
"Go to your friends, Olli. I'll just wait for them here. We're sharing this tent with them." Blair smiled at her brother reassuringly. "Go on. We'll see each other after the game."
Oliver hesitated before nodding and kissing the top of her head. "I'll be going now, alright? Stay put."
"Of course. When have I ever caused trouble?"
"I don't even want to answer that. Just stay put."
"Yes, brother. Bye."
Oliver left, and Blair smiled as she roamed around the tent, amazed at how spacious it was on the inside. She couldn't wait to see the Weasleys, Harry, and most especially, Hermione again. Hermione...
Blair found a mirror and started messing up her hair, grinning as she knew it made her look more attractive. Then, she cleared her throat and started practicing how she would greet Hermione when they came.
"Hey, Granger." In a low-pitched voice. No.
"Hi, Hermione!" In a high-pitched voice. Nuh uh.
"Hi." In a cool voice. Hmmm.
Blair was about to try again when a snort came from behind her, and her cheeks reddened immediately when she saw the Weasley twins there. Of all the people to catch her.
"Hi, Hermione." George mimicked the high pitch of her voice and fluttered his eyelashes.
"Hey, Granger." Fred mimicked the low pitch of her voice and puffed out his chest.
"Freddie, Georgie! Shhh!" Blair blushed and shushed them, realizing that Hermione could come in any minute.
"Just messing with you, Little B." Fred laughed out loud with George before the two of them hugged Blair.
"A little help here?" The voice of Mr. Weasley came from behind them.
"Mr. Weasley. It's nice to see you again." Blair gave him a quick hug before helping him with his stuff.
"Thank you, Blair, it's nice to see you again." Mr. Weasley smiled back as they hauled his bags further into the tent with Blair effortlessly carrying the bags.
Fred let out a whistle upon seeing how Blair didn't even break a sweat in carrying the heavy bags. "Little Caelum has grown well, hasn't she, George?"
"Indeed, Fred. Oh, she'll turn heads all around now."
Remembering that her mother said the same thing, Blair was confused at their statements when Ginny, Ron and Harry came in. The three saw her and dropped their things. "Blair!"
Blair ran to them and hugged them tight. "Oh, I missed you all badly."
Ron's eyes widened as he looked at her. "Bloody hell, Blair! That training's gone great for you."
Harry snickered. "You'll surely have the whole of Hogwarts at your feet."
Blair scoffed at that. "My feet smell nice, thank you very much." The two boys snorted at her comment.
"H-Hey, Blair." Ginny smiled shyly at the older girl.
"Hey, Gin." Blair turned to her and ruffled her hair. "Anyways, where's-"
Blair's voice died down when her eyes turned to the witch behind them. Bloody hell, Blair could hear her heart beat faster, ramming in her chest, as she saw Hermione walking towards them with a smile on her face. Then, Hermione turned to look at Blair, and oh Godric, that smile sent warmth throughout Blair's body.
Blair scooped her into a tight hug. "Granger."
Hermione chuckled before hugging her back. "Wood."
"All that practice, and she settles with Granger." George whispered to Fred, making his twin snort.
When Hermione cleared her throat, Blair realized she'd been hugging the Muggleborn too long and pulled away while ruffling her own hair, making it even messier than it already was. "Sorry, it's nice to see you again."
"You too, Wood." Hermione smiled back.
Then, Blair remembered her letter and smirked at Hermione, her flirt game turning on immediately. "So, you never gave an answer to my letter."
Hermione rolled her eyes in amusement. "The 30th of February."
A smile spread on Blair's face, and she eagerly checked the calendar in her pocket. She suddenly got confused because there wasn't a 30th of February. Then, she realized Hermione might have meant the 1st of March.
Blair smiled widely at Hermione. "I'll be looking forward to the 1st of March, Granger."
"Think what you must, Wood." Hermione shook her head. Everyone besides the two exchanged glances and laughed. Blair surely was persistent.
As Blair turned to talk to the boys, Hermione couldn't help but notice that there was something different about her. It was then that Hermione noticed how Blair grew physically. Her arms stronger, her jawline more defined, her messed up hair - okay, that's enough. Maybe, her personality was still the same, but even Hermione couldn't deny that Blair Wood grew more attractive this year. It still didn't mean that she actually liked the Chaser.
Blair sighed dreamily then talked to the boys. "Did you hear her? She actually answered me. She's warming up to me. It wasn't a no, or I'd rather date the giant squid. It was an actual date. A date!"
The boys exchanged glances. None of them had the will to actually tell her that it was a rejection because it was the happiest that they had seen the Chaser. Well, besides that time when Hermione hugged her or that time that Hermione smiled at her.

Blair separated from the group to look for two of her best friends, Seamus and Dean. The Prancers were supposed to go to the Quidditch Cup together, but Neville's grandmother didn't allow him to go, and for some reason, Olivia told Blair that she could go to the Quidditch World Cup on the condition that she stay with the Weasleys. So, it was just Seamus and Dean.
After a while of walking, Blair finally found them with Mrs. Finnigan. "Ignis! Tranqs!"
"Caelum!"
The three of them hugged each other, definitely missing the fourth member to complete their quartet.
Blair waved to Mrs. Finnigan. "Hello, Mrs. Finnigan. I'm Blair Wood."
"It's nice to finally meet you, Blair." Mrs. Finnigan smiled at her. "Seamus, Dean, I'll go get to our seats. Take your time to catch up, alright?"
"Yes, Mum." "Thanks, Mrs. Finnigan." Seamus, Dean and Blair waved goodbye to her as they walked to find a less crowded and sat down on a bench.
Dean looked over at Blair and patted her on the shoulder. "Bloody hell, Caelum. You've truly grown. The training has paid off, hasn't it?"
"Granger better get you soon, or someone else will." Seamus snickered and exchanged glances with Dean.
Blair just chuckled at them and their words. "You know, mates. No one will like me because I'm in love with Hermione Granger and Hermione Granger only."
Seamus and Dean shared amazed glances. The girl beside them was definitely oblivious. Couldn't she see how glances followed her as she walked through the halls of Hogwarts? Bloody hell, with how she grew over the summer, she'd definitely catch the attention of everyone, but they knew that it was useless to argue with the girl because in her eyes, even if she had the attention of whole Hogwarts, the only one that mattered was Hermione Granger.
"Alright, lover girl." Dean just grinned and shook his head. Then, he looked around to make sure that no one was listening in before whispering to Seamus and Blair. "Anyways, about the plan - "
"The Perfect Prancer Ploy?" Seamus and Blair interjected at the same time, making the two giggle while Dean shook his head in exasperation.
"The Perfect Prancer Ploy. Happy now?" Dean raised an eyebrow at the two before continuing on. "We're set to go to Phase 2 when we go back to Hogwarts."
"You found the spell?" Blair asked Dean, earning her a nod in return. "That's amazing, Tranqs. I can't wait to try our powers."
"At least, I won't blow myself up anymore when I try to use firecrackers." Seamus said, making the three of them laugh.
"Gramen won't have to make the dormitory a greenhouse to hide the scorch marks you've made, Ignis." Blair teased him, making Seamus glare playfully at her.
"I wonder, will you be able to hide the scorch marks if I scorch your hair?"
Blair gasped dramatically and held her hands to her hair. "You wouldn't dare!"
Seamus grinned evilly as he started leaning over Dean who was in between them to reach for Blair's hair. "Let's see if you can still ruffle your hair when Granger walks by once I am done with it!"
"Not if I make you fly away first!"
The two started wrestling on the ground and started giving each other noogies. The moment would've been perfect if only Neville was there to try and appease the fight.
Dean only shook his head and brought out a book from his pocket, and he gave it 5 minutes before finally breaking the fight. "Okay, children, that's enough!"

After bidding goodbye to Seamus and Dean, Blair went to the stores to buy some stuff for her friends and family. She stopped by Oliver to give him the stuff she bought before catching up with her friends where a fire was set up. "Here you go."
Blair gave out the mini-Firebolts to everyone. Well, to all's surprise, everyone but Hermione. Though she didn't show it, Hermione couldn't help the feeling of disappointment and hurt that rose in her. Despite how she rejected Blair when the latter asked her out, she still considered them friends.
But then, Blair suddenly turned to her with a lopsided grin. "Of course, I wouldn't forget you, my lovely Granger. Here."
Blair took out a mini-Firebolt and pressed a button as it zoomed in front of Hermione and made a heart before settling down in the palm of her hand.
Hermione's cheeks flushed red. "T-Thank you, Wood." Blair's smile grew when a smile made its way onto Hermione's face.
The Chaser sat in between Bill and Charlie and started gushing in a hushed voice. "Did you see that, Bill, Charlie? She's really warming up to me. I think this is my chance."
Charlie chuckled at her. "Oh, little B. Keep up the good work. You're almost there, I guess? Maybe?"
Bill snorted at his brother's advice. "Seriously, Char? But he's right, little B. You just have to keep on being you."
The two Weasleys' advice made Blair smile even wider as she kept on talking to them while stealing glances at Hermione, and every time, as if she could feel it, Hermione would turn into her direction, and in turn, Blair would wink at her. Hermione would either roll her eyes or turn away just to fight the smile that was threatening to spread on her face.
She may not like Blair Wood that way, but she wouldn't deny the girl had her way of making Hermione smile.
