To you, the reason as to why they had been hiding this from you was making sense. The looks, the way everyone refused to make eye contact with you, why Jake refused to let you look, why Ronal was holding back cries, and why Tonowari had a venomous, vengeful and angry look on his face that could only describe how this could have happened to one of the very most important people in his life and the most crucial figure in her life, her spirit sister. You were frozen the moment that gasp left your lips. You shakily had both of your hands resch up to cover your mouth as shuddering and sharp breaths left your lips. Your eyes were brimming with tears, and blurring your vision. You couldn't move, and almost prayed to Eywa that this just wasn't real, but it was. You wished you were dreaming all of this. All of it. There was no way life would be this sickening and cruel to take yet another someone you care for.

You had been so carefree in turning around, that you already wished you hadn't. It made sense why Jake was trying to keep you from seeing this, protecting you from the pain that was almost indescribable inside your body right now that you couldn't even speak, form words, syllables, sounds. Only sobs. But, it was starting to click why Tonowari told Jake to let me see. There was no way to sugercoat the truth, and it would only hurt you more if it was kept from you. But this felt like a thousand daggers were piercing into your already numb body, and yet, you could still feel them. That's how much this hurt, and you wished you had imagined it all, but you hadn't. Eylti was dead. Right in front of you. No sign of movement. He eyes were rolled to the back of her head and her body was completely lifeless.

Jake continued to hold onto your already trembling body, nor daring to let go as he leaned his head against yours, but you were so in shock that you just couldn't respond to his attempts of trying to hold you closer and make this much less painful. Not only was Eylti's sight haunting, but it wasn't just that. Your teary eyes landed to another figure everyone else had their eyes on. Right next to Eylti, was her mate. Dead all the same, his body leaning on hers, with no sign at all. You felt like your breath had stopped and that you would die at any moment from heartbreak, but cruelly, you were being kept right in front of sight that was tearing apart your insides. Your pupils shakily began to glance over the area and the pod of Tulkuns, Eylti's pod, had come back and also crowded their fallen victims of the Sky People.

As your breath quickened, your eyes landed on Eylti's mate and your heart suddenly felt like it was being pierced over and over again. What broke your heart even more is when the sudden realization dawned on you of what might have killed Eylti's mate. Sadness, heartbreak, pure depression, and the feeling of not wanting to live on without the one he loved. When Eylti's body was dropped onto the sea again, you just could not imagine what was going on in the male Tulkun's head when he saw his mate like that, even with the hope that she had survived whatever they had done to her. It was awful to realize that the Sky People dropped her body off like it was nothing back into the ocean, even when they were planning to sink her.

That's why killed Tulkun's were never found, because the body bags were removed and the Tulkun's sank to the bottom of the ocean, but that wasn't the case with Eylti. They left her up on the surface for anyone to see. It angered you that they did this to use her body and her life to send a message, as if she was a vessel, but she was not that at all. She didn't deserve all of the humiliation for being left on display like this after having suffered so much and fighting to stay alive. Your anger was quickly replaced by your agonizing sadness once again, and you began to relive everything you lived with her.

When you first met her as a calf and you were just a young Metkayina girl, when you finally bonded with her for life and became your spirit sister, when she told you all of her aspirations in life that she wanted and just seeing her as someone who understood you infinitely in every way. Her kind and pure soul was taken away far too quickly, and it was all because of a small chance that this would drive Jake out of hiding. What if it didn't? Her life would have been taken for nothing. But you knew that Jake and you would never stand by and do nothing about this, so, the Sky People and Quaritch would get what they want. And it's sickening thay Eylti's life had to pay the expense of it all.

And that was only the beginning of everything that was crashing down on you. Eylti had a beautiful soul, so much love to give, and was always there for her pod. She longed to have a family, a calf of her own to give all of that excess of love that she has inside, and when she had found her mate, you were so happy for her. She would have finally been able to fulfill her lifelonh dream that she would tell you all about every single time that the Tulkun's came back to the villages. You knew that you spirit sister's mate, had been waiting for the moment to start a family with Eylti as well. He knew it would make her happy, and now that she died, you knew that he couldn't spend a single moment alive without her. Your body began to shake even further as your breaths became more shallow by the second, unable to tear your eyes away from the cruel reality in front of you.

Jake closed his eyes shut and held you closer to him while you instinctively tucked your body into his, more tears beginning to freefall down your cheeks. You couldn't hold your sobs any longer. They were so painful that anyone around, and that included Jake, Ronal and Tonowari would do anything to make it stop because it only felt like daggers wete piercing their bodies. Your cries were so full of anguish and sadness that none of them were able to take it. They would do anything to reverse this and have you never see this ever again, but this was only the beginning. Jake knew it, Ronal and Tonowari knew it, and every single warrior around knew what was coming. This was a warning for war, and all at the expense of your emotions, your loved ones, and the connections of the Tulkun with your people. This was far from over and the cruelty would only continue to spread until Quaritch and the Sky People got what they wanted. You didn't know if you were prepared for that. Hadn't they taken enough?

As your sobs continued and resonanted across the vastness of the open sea, and everyone there as a witness, you somehow got the strength after failed attempts to look up at Jake, prompting for him to move his head away from your hair and look down at you while he listened to your pained hiccups and small gasps, which meant that it would be a long time until you would stop crying. The thought teared his heart apart, and he kept trying to convince himself he could do anything to help, but as much as he hated to admit it, he couldn't. But that didn't mean that he would stop trying. He took in your bloodshot and teary eyes, that used to be clear, turquoise eyes that he loved so badly to look into. He still does, and he would do anything to bring them back. He raised his free hand from around your waist and cupped your cheek, and his touch only seemed to incite more tears in your eyes.

The more you looked into Jake's eyes, the more you realized what you really had to do now. Your breath hitched as your pupils darted all over his face, preparing yourself for what you were about to say. You hiccuped a bit and let out a sniffle before shakily breathing out your words. "Come with me? Please...?" You said with a whimper and a tone barely above a whisper that only Jake could hear because of his proximity. "I need to see her, up close, say goodbye..." You whispered and continued to speak, while Jake's response was almost instantaneous. He didn't hesitate in nodding and rubbing his thumb against your cheek. If that's what you really want to do, then he wouldn't be the one to stop you, especially if you knew it's what you needed to really get ahold of reality, as much as it would hurt. "Of course," He whispered gently, leaning his head forward and pressing a soft and loving kiss on your forehead. That simple gesture from him has been the only thing to even crack the most simple and ghost of a smile you could muster in the last few minutes. Only he could do that.

You inhaled shakily, proceeding to move your hand upwards and have him intertwine the hand that was on your cheek with yours. In total silence, everyone else watched as you got off of Pua and got into the water, bringing Jake with you, swimming directly towards Eylti. He didn't let go of your hand once and followed your lead, and he only seemed to tighten his grip more on your hand the closer the two of you go to Eylti. For you, the pain only seemed to intensify further as you saw your spirit sister's body up close, seeing her eyes grey and murky as a sign of no life in her body at all, and just how real it became when you were close enough to touch her limp fin with your hand.

Her skin felt odd, not like it used to. It used to be smooth, but now it feels as if the more time passes without her life, her skin feels like its going with it. It only made things that much more real. You breathed in shakily and looked back at Jake, feeling as he squeezed your hand and he put is free one Eylti's skin as well. He could feel the same decaying sensation as you, but he could only imagine what it must be like to feel her lifeless body and realize it will never be the way that it used to. He could feel your hand starting to tremble, along with the rest of your body visibly shaking as you looked away and somehow mustered up the courage to hoist yourself up to sit on Eylti's fin. Jake was quick to follow, not wanting to let you be or feel alone for even a second and got on the fin as well, sitting right next to you as he watched you silently place your trembling fingertips onto the skin right above Eylti's eyes. The grey, empty and soulless look the Tulkun's eyes broke you completely as you realized more and more that she was really dead. It was all real.

As you leant forward on your arm that was rested on Eylti's skin, your head dropped and choked sobs began to erupt from your throat as you closed your eyes shut and tears that you couldn't hold back anymore began to fall down your cheeks. She was dead. She really was. You realized now that if you talked to her, you wouldn't hear those sweet wails that translated into words that made your whole day. As Jake heard your sobs, he stiffened and his eyes widened but was quick to scoot closer and wrap his arms around you again so felt some sort of contact. The moment he put his hands around you, he could feel your body shaking heavily and uncontrollably and hiccuping with every strained sob and breath you took.

He put one hand on top of your head and another one around your waist, and even through your cries, you instinctively leaned against him as the only support you had to go off of. Jake had no idea how much his presence made you feel like you weren't going through this alone, no matter how much it hurt. His being there made you realize that you could share your pain with him and he would gladly shoulder it all if he could. But even so, nothing could stop the harsh reality that was starting to befall you. Quaritch had really taken something that was unspeakably important to you, and that only made Jake boil with rage. Quaritch would pay. Jake would make sure of it.

The more you cried, the more you felt your throat begin to close as you struggled to find the words. But you couldn't find the words, or speak. How you could you possibly do that in a situation like this? Still, you wanted to say so much. The sight of Eylti's eyes rolled to the back of her head only made it harder for you to find the words to describe what you really felt. Though, the gentle kisses that Jake left on your temple as he whispered sweet nothings, gentle encouraging words, and suppport, just made it all so much easier and he made the path to forming your train of thought that much easier. "It's okay, it's okay..." He whispered in your ear, and it made you feel like you really had something to hang onto. You really didn't know what you would do if he was not right there by your side in that very moment. You were eternally grateful for him, his utter and unconditional love and support, his patience, and above all, his very existence. It was the glue of it all. The only way you can describe this feeling is as if you lost half a part of yourself, somebody you had a bond with like no other (the bond snapping was really starting to settle in), and now that feeling that someone out there was waiting to see you again as much as you did was gone. No chance of coming back.

Your cries eventually got louder and they were mingled with yells of pain and agony that you had been holding back. Anyone could hear the hurt in your voice for miles, with the way sobs ripped from your throat as you moved your other free hand to put it next to Eylti's eye and putting all of your weight onto your arms as you leaned even forward. Your heart continued to clench in pain. This was so sinister and vile. You could barely hold onto the words that were on your mouth and couldn't get out. The more Jake held onto you and let his eyes trail for any sort of clue left behind by the Sky People, for any sort of mistake they might have made leaving the body out in the open like this so recklessly. There was no one else responsible for this but Quaritch. He was certain. It was clear who was responsible. Sky People. Who else would be capable of something like this? Nobody else would be as heartless.

"Eylti..." You rasped out as more tears fell and you clenched your eyes shut. Your body didn't stop shaking the moment you said her name out loud, causing Jake to only hold you tighter. Jake held your waist a bit tighter and he pressed his forehead against the back of your head, cooing and hushing comforting words. He really was trying his best, even if there was nothing that he could do. You needed to let everything out. Every word, every cry, every sob, every hiccup. He couldn't stop that and he had to let it happen for you to be able to heal. You only shuddere as you came into even more contact with Jake. He was going to be there for you more than ever. You had already been through enough these past couple of days and this wss the last thing you needed. But, he really admired you for powering through it all despite how much hurt it brought. Losing someone who you have such a spiritual and emotional connection with must feel like your world is ending, and you deserved to feel like someone was keeping you afloat during this time, and giving you the strength you needs to continue. Jake vowed to be that anchor.

Somehow, your mind cleared to form words in your head and you turned your head away from looking directly into Eylti's lifeless gaze. Instead, you looked back at Jake and everyone else. Tonowari and Ronal had compassionate and understanding expressions, waiting to hear what you had to say. To them, what you've been through today and what you've seen, could make anyone else break. But instead, your showing how strong you are in more ways than one. Fit to be a leader and turn your bad experiences into motivation and strength.

That was one of the things that made them sure you could lead the Metkayina one day. They began to think that they could overlook the incident a couple days before and start to see things the way you've been trying to tell them. They were ignorant before, didn't speak to you afterwards, and dismissed you. That was a mistake, and now, they would stand by you under any circumstance and it's sad that it took Eylti's life for them to realize it. Even so, they wouldn't miss this chance to strike back with all their power and everything they had. The past was simply that, the past. They couldn't possibly think about anything else other than show support and gain motivation from the tribe to show the Sky People what the Na'vi could really be. When it comes to protecting those you love, that's one thing we can all agree on. Tonowari, Ronal and every other warrior around would stand by yours and Jake's side, no questions asked. It was time to strike back.

You inhaled deeply as your cries somewhat subsided and you began to say the first thing that came to mind. "Eylti, she...she wanted a family. She always told me how much she wanted a calf of her own when she found a mate. Now that she did...neither of them could leave to see their wish come true," You said in a tone that you hoped everyone could hear, but it still wasn't strong. You were weak, and your voice reflected that. "She was known for her kindness, her generosity, and honorable spirit. I hoped that she at least died knowing she spared someone's life from meeting her fate" You said as a couple of stray tears left your eyes. Jake's eyebrows furrowed in sadness as he heard your words. "She-" You started but wrre interrupted by your throat closing up at even the thought of your next few words.

Jake noticed this and soothed you, comforting you to continue. You looked back at him for a second and he your gaze met his, he smiled gently and placed a kiss on the crown of your head as you inhaled deeply and exhaled gently, gulping down that lump in your throat that prevented you fro continuinh. But now you could. You were ready to go on to say what you felt. You knew now you could speak knowing that you'd never be looked down upon. You felt full of courage surging through you rapidly, but your tone still reflected your emotional scars.

Before continuing, you closed your eyes  shut as you felt more tears and grief coursing through you. You couldn't control it even if you wanted to. The situation you were in made it
impossible, as much as you wanted to turn your grief into determination to keep moving forward. "Me and her pod were so happy to hear she had found a mate. She was so excited to wait for the next breeding cycle but she couldn't even live to see it..." You whispered, feeling your voice breaking with every word you muttered. And as for Jake, truly felt sick to his stomach that the Sky People would go to such lengths and ruin such an amazing and intelligent creature's chance at happiness.

None of them understood how cognitive snd aware they were. Tulkun were just like any other Na'vi. No Sky Person would ever be able to understand that. They trample over any little thing that crosses their path without regards of who they hurt, the hopes and dreams that they destroy along the way, and even the ecosystem that depend on these creatures. They only care about their greed, selfishness, arrogance, and needs of their own to even care about all of the consequences and not what they come across along the way that they somehow manage to destroy. If Eylti was a warning this was only the very beginning of a nighmare awaiting.

And then, suddenly snapped inside of you that you couldn't possibly hold back anymore. Your sadness was replaced with confusion mingled with the need to do something about this once and for all. "Why did they do this to us?! What did we do to deserve this?!" You cried as a much more pained sobbed erupted from your throat and you moved forward to wrap your arms around the area of your spirit sister's eye, clutching on for dear life as more tears flowed from your eyes uncontrollably. Jake's heart only shattered further and he moved forward to wrap his arms around you from behind even tighter in hopes of lessening the neverending suffering you were going through. The pain he felt internally for you was just inexplicable. But, Jake truly didn't know the answer to your question. He wished he knew why Quaritch would go to such lengths, even if he knew how capable of it all he was. This was proof enough.

Every sob, every hiccup, every sound of pain that you emitted onlt fueled his need to get revenge and avenge you, everyone and any creature that the Sky People have harmed. Tonowari and Ronal couldn't even put into words how much your agony was affecting them. If not more, they wanted to get justice for this now more than ever and not ignore the harm that the Sky People have inflicted on their people over and over continously. They wouldn't let this slide. They would rile up the warriors, the people of the Metkayina, get as many forces as they could and attack with everything they had. In fact, they should have done so the moment Hahona had passed. They'd put everything they had to make sure he didn't die for nothing. That everyone who has died at the hands of the Sky People died with purpos. That their lives weren't in vain even if they were taken away so suddenly and unjustly.

As you continued to hold onto Eylti as long as you possibly could before it would be inevitably time to truly part with her for the very last time, Tonowari had taken it upon himself to start inspecting the scene while Ronal lead her Skimwing and positioned herself to be on the water, right next to you and Jake while she remained on the aquatic creature and you and Jake stayed on the fin. Your adoptive mother raised the palm of her hand and placed it in the small of your back, rubbing small comforting circles as you continued to cry and until there was nothing left. Jake and Ronal stayed silent and accompanied you, letting you cry, mourn and grieve as much as you needed to. They looked at each other wordlessly, giving each other a single nod that they wordlessly agreed to be your support for as long as it took and that they wouldn't leave your side for anything. For Ronal, she wanted to make up for all the neglect she put you through on her part these past couple of days and would do anything to make it up to you. You really needed the people you loved and cared about the most in your life by your side now more than ever before.

While Tonowari continued to ride his Skimwing around the area, he came across a strange sound as he rounded the corner of Eylti's body. The more he tried to follow it, the more incessant it became and he realized that the sound was continous and loud beeps. He became skeptical and continued to try and follow it to see where it was coming from, seeing as he felt it getting closer and louder. With hesitance, Tonowari passed under one of Eylti's back fins and when he came to the other side, the answer to his question was quickly answered by the sight in front of him. When he laid eyes on what the beep belonged to, his blood ran cold and his movements on the Skimwing halted as well. His pupils started to dart from what was in front of him and the figured of you, Jake, and Ronal on the other side. His eyes hardened and he cleared his throat, trying to not raise panic or suspicion as he suddenly spoke up. "Jake," Tonowari said loudly enough for your mate to raise his head and look across from him to see Tonowari looking at him expectantly. Jake's eyes narrowed as Tonowari silently began using his head to gesture discreetly to what was visually unaccessible to Jake, but that the Olo'eyktan wanted him to see. By the look on Tonowari's face, Jake could tell that it was urgent but he also wanted Jake to keep quiet and come to inspect what Tonowari had in front of him.

As he debated doing as he was being asked, Jake looked at you and then back at Tonowari. Even if it was only for a few moments, Jake didn't want to leave your side, especially not now. You were depending on him as much as he was with you and he needed to make sure you were okay. Still, whatever Tonowari had found was important and most likely a clue to how this happened or give them an advantage to how to hit back. It could be anything and Tonowari wouldn't be calling Jake if it was nothing. Jake looked to see Ronal trying to comfort you and whisper gentle words, and in that moment, your husband trusted your adoptive mother to be your anchor while he left for a moment as much as he didn't want to leave at all. This was a pivotal moment and you needed your mate now more than ever. But if Tonowari really did find something helpful to their cause, it'd be worth considering going over there and seeing what can be done.

Jake looked back up at Tonowari and gave him a firm nod before leaning down to you again, moving to whisper as gently as he could. "Y/n, i'll be right back, okay? Tonowari called for me, but I won't take long" He said as he then kissed your temple sweetly as it took you a couple seconds to respond with a silent nod. Jake looked at Ronal, and when they made eye contact, your husband sent her a silent and expressive message. 'Take care of her' His expression said, and Ronal didn't hesitate to nod back and move her hand to rub up and down your arm as Jake slowly started to detach himself from you, as hard as it was. But he'd be back with you in his embrace in no time.

As Jake stood up and leaped onto the water, beginning to swim all the way around Eylti's body, not on top of her simply out of respect, and in the corner of his eyes he could see Ronal lifting herself from the water and taking his spot right next to you. You completely forgot about your differences with your mother and at her much closer presence, you peeled yourself away from Eylti's body and threw yourself onto Ronal, wrapping your arms around her midsection while your adoptive mother didn't hesitate to wrap one arm around your waist and another on your hair, smoothing it out as Jake could see she was rocking you back and forth and whispering words in your ear that he could only assume were full of comfort. As you tucked your head in her neck, still letting tears freefall as you mourned, Ronal rubbed her hand up and down your back as she heard anything that you possibly had to say. Fighting or not, she would never deny you the love and support she vowed to give you since you were a small and little girl. After all, you would never stop being her daughter, by blood or not.

As Jake made his way closer to Tonowari, your husband smiled at the sight knowing you were in good hands. You were never truly alone. He felt a bit more at ease and was happy to know that you would be okay until he comes back to you. When Jake finally made his way around to where Tonowari was, Jake's head came out of the water and he leaned against the side of Eylti's body as he finally made eye contact with the Olo'eyktan. Jake was about to speak but was quick cut off by an incessant sound overtaking his hearing. The same beeping that Tonowari was hearing before, but Jake still hadn't caught on to where it was coming from since his position didn't really let him see.

He turned to Tonowari with confusion. "Where's that coming from?" Jake asked, and Tonowari closed his eyes momentarily for a second before he opened them and was quick to point to where he was seeing what the sound came from. Jake looked over to try and peek but he still couldn't see. He was quick to resort to beginning to swim around the big, orange floatation device blocking his way, and when he made his way around it, Jake felt like his heart stopped. He felt his face go pale as he was frozen in place. He turned to look at Tonowari but to no surprise at all, the Olo'eyktan's eyes were hard and locked on what the sound was coming from, with visible anger emanating from a mile away. Jake was beginning to feel that same rage bubble inside of him as well.

To neither of them two men, where the sound was coming from a long, operated and red-looking apparatus. It just so happened that every time that it beeped, a light flashed. Both Jake and Tonowari noticed it (as it was pretty hard to miss) that it was embedded deep in Eylti's skin, and the closer Jake began to get to it, he spotted something that made his gaze darken and forget any sort of rationality leave his body and was quickly replaced by deeper anger to see that his suspicions were truly correct all along. It was the RDA logo plastered on the device clear as day. There was no doubt of who was behind this, and Jake wouldn't hesitate to make things right this time.

This whole other Quaritch needed to pay one way or another. He messed with someone he loved, with people and beings that you care about and your home. That was unforgivable in every way. And as Jake had vowed before, he wouldn't repeat the same mistake twice and he knew what to do now. He wouldn't hesitate and  he would give everything inside him to make things right. To erase Quaritch from this world and Sky People from Pandora, so that you and Jake could live out your lives together at last like the two of you have dreamed of. With the kids, and in his mind hopefully more, and just grow old together treasuring every moment until life decides that its been enough. Its really all he wants, but to do that, there's one thing he has to do and Jake will do and give anything to give you the future that you and your children deserve. Nothing more and nothing less than living out your lives without worrying and fearing which day would be your last. Nobody deserves to live that way, and he wouldn't allow anyone he loves be in that constant fear. Its been going on for too long that he simply cannot escape the reality of the situation any longer than he already has.

Without thinking about it twice, Jake swam closer, positioned himself on top Eylti's and pulled on the device with all of his strength. He pulled on it for a few seconds and eventually, it finally came off and he held onto it in his grasp. He looked at it in his hands for a few seconds as he let his anger and frustration more and more with each second. Jake looked over at Tonowari and the Olo'eyktan sent him a single nod as Jake jumped back into the water with the device in his hands and began to swim
back around as Tonowari did the same on his Skimwing. Anxiety began to gnaw away at Jake as he couldn't imagine how you'll react when you see the very object that led your spirit sister to her death. But, a part of him knew that it would fuel you more to fight. Jake knew you inside and out, and with whatever response you gave him, he'd agree with whatever you felt was best, even if it differs from what he wants. This was about you, your people, the Tulkun, and all who have been affected by Quaritch and the Sky People. The only thing left to do was fight until the end, and little did Jake know, but that was slowly becoming exactly what you wanted as well. You wanted what he wanted, and would do anything to avenge Eylti's life.

Tonowari and Jake both came around the corner, and your husband kept the device below water. He could see you weren't crying anymore but there was a seemingly empty look on your face, deep in thought, lost, completely disassociated from everything around you. If Jake knew you, he had an inkling of what lied behind that gaze as your eyes stayed trained on your spirit sister. You were still in Ronal's arms, but you were definitely thinking about something that lied way beyond what Jake and Tonowari were about to show you. You were just so out of it that you didn't even notice your adoptive father or your husband come around the corner. Jake still hid the tracking device below the surface and would only show it to you once he got yout attention and could sense that you were ready to see the root of Eylti's death. He'd be careful, and calculate everything he says and does, wishing he knew what was going on inside your head. He usually could tell  what you were feeling, because he knew you so well by now, but at this very moment he just felt completely at a loss. Hesitant, while other thoughts of thinking about what to do about this situation ran through his head endlessly.

Ronal was the first to notice Jake and Tonowari's arrival back to her and you, and by the looks on their faces, she knew she wasn't getting good news, and neither would you or the warriors who were still trying to investigate and corner off the area. Jake got close enough to you to be able to lean against the side of Eylti's head, then raising a hand to place it on top of yours. In that moment, he could see the light and sparkle in your eye come back as you blinked a couple times and looked at your mate before anyone else. Tonowari then came closer on his Skimwing and was ready to accompany Jake in giving you the news. The light of the beeping tracker was starting to show from
beneath the murky water and he knew there just wasn't much time before their discovery needed to be told. As there was only silence for a couple seconds, Jake and Tonowari quickly exchanged looks and then your husband was the first to speak up, tightening his hold on your hand gently but surely, rubbing his thumb over your knuckles as he made sure to give you the news as best as he possibly could now.

"Y/n, my love, how are you feeling?" Jake asked before anything else. He needed to know what was going on inside your head before dropping another bomb on you. What kind of husband would he be if he subjected you to the kind of suffering you were enduring all over again? He wanted you to see this discovery as fuel to fight, to protect your people from even more danger and prevent any more incidents like this one to continue to happen mercilessly. The wounds would take long to heal, and as much as it was hard to admit, they lived in times where that luxury wasn't an option anymore. But what Jake could do is soften the blow as best as he could, and that's what he was doing. Helping you turn your anger, sadness, frustration or agony into something even more powerful to get you through it.

He didn't know what it was yet, but he had a feeling that it would be clear as the days went by. At Jake's question, your eyes widened a fraction and for the first time, Jake heard you speak clearly. No stuffiness, no closed up throat, no teary eyes or nasal voice tone. You seemed...normal. But Jake wasn't fooled. You could fool anyone else except him, and he could see that so much more lied beneath the surface. Especially with the way your body subtly stiffened when your eyes met Eylti's body. You went from letting your emotions out all at once after not being able to hold them in, but now, it's like everything is going through your head first and your processing everything, but still, not quite accepting it just yet. It was somewhere in between disassociation and complete numbness that worried and justs so concerned Jake infinitely, hating to see you in this state. He couldn't bare to see you like this. "I...I don't know," You muttered lowly, not really knowing what it was you were feeling after crying so much. You felt so empty, and as expected, Jake could see that now more than ever after you've spoken. It shatters his heart to hear your voice make you sound so small, frail, and vulnerable. Like you've just given up trying to understand why any of this was happening.

Now more than ever, Jake felt like this was the right time to tell you either. Either way, you'd find out about it as Tonowari needed to take it back to the village, but how Jake handled it right now would change everything. It would either make things worse or somehow make them better by helping you see things in a different light. Still, Jake wasn't expecting at all how you reacted to it. "We found this on Eylti's back..." Jake said as he raised the device from
the water to be directly in your eyeline, which made its continuous beeping suddenly surface again, and your mate could see your eyes widen a fraction as your lips opened agape lightly.

It was easy to tell you were surprised by it, but Jake's assumptions of your reaction were completely thrown out the window when he saw you stare at the beeping device for a few seconds before seeing your eyes harden and you began speaking once again as you let out a deep sigh. Your motivation was resurfacing, your need for revenge was coming back by simply the sight of the device, and your emotions switched from being indescribably sad and upset to determined and with a need to fight and protect. Just like Jake had hoped that you would. You don't think you'd truly be okay with this, but coming to terms with it was the first step and you'll use that as something to keep you moving forward from now on until Quaritch and every Sky Person that comes in your way to pay for hurting your people, taking away Eylti, tearing apart your home and every single thing that they have cause for their own selfish needs. Those emotions were all you needed to tell Jake the next few words.

"Let's head back to the village," You barely said, almost inaudibly. The moment you said those words, Ronal, Tonowari, and Jake all looked visibly shocked, due to how different your response was to what they thought you'd say or do. Either way, they wouldn't question what you wanted or your judgment. Despite how much you've endured emotionally, your husband and your parents knew for a fact how you never let your emotions affect your way of thinking and decision-making. They didn't know why you wanted to go back to the village right away and not comment on the tracker, they knew you would later and in fact, they all
already had a feeling as to why you want to go back now instead of pouring more energy into something that wouldn't change the fact that Eylti was dead. It was true you might not ever get over her death or accept it, but what you can do is act on it and have the initiative now to do something about it, just like Jake knew you would. As a result, nobody questioned your response and your request was quickly fulfilled.

As Ronal placed a quick loving kiss in the back of your head, she left your side and called for her ilu, climbed on it, and began to join her mate's side as her and Tonowari began head over to the warriors to tell them they'd be leaving the sight shortly. They needed to act now so they couldn't possibly waste any more precious time here. As hard as it would be to leave Eylti and lay eyes on her for the last time, there were truth to your words. Heading back to the village as soon as possible was the best possible course of action and staying here would only prolong your suffering, and would not allow you to start to let your wounds heal.

Not only that, but the faster they got to the village, the quicker that a plan of action could be created to hit back. Jake knew what was going on in Tonowari's mind. But the said Olo'eyktan didn't know how the Sky People think, given that they're ideals and way of thinking is so drastically different from the Na'vi. This is where Jake began to worry. That Tonowari would attack without knowing their opponent, but Jake hoped he could be of some help if he could get him and the village to listen to his perspective, from someone who was born of the Sky People themselves. In a way, Jake was scared that if he tried to give his opinion, it would mean close to nothing since this tragedy was directly related to him and his credibility wasn't very reliable. Only you knew Jake's perspective and didn't blame him, but that wasn't the case for the rest of the Metkayina. Jake feared Tonowari and Ronal would see it the same way once they get back to the village and start to get carried away by their rage and anger to hit back to really see what was really happening and what was quickly approaching, much faster than any of them thought. Jake could only hope he could get them to see reason, and to see the true reality of what the Sky People are capable, just like you have managed to comprehend while all of the others might not. Still, Jake would do everything he could to persuade the village in any way.

As you were left by yourself for a few seconds when Ronal left, Jake didn't waste anytime in firstly handing the device to Ronal so that she can hand it to Tonowari, then calling Pua with a call you taught him, helping you get down from Eylti's fin as the two of you mounted the Skimwing and waited for Ronal and Tonowari to give the go ahead to leave tge site back to the village. He couldn't help but realize that when he looked at your face as yiu got down to Pua, your eyes were completely bloodshot and swollen, your cheeks now had multiple tear streaks, and your breath was still shallow as you slowly let your hand detach from the place your hand was placed above your spirit sister's eye, with your gaze locked onto Eylti with absolutely no words said at all, slowly taking steps to leave her behind.

It felt like a stab to his chest when Jake saw you look so defeated, so vulnerable and disassociated from anything around you. You wanted to go back to the village but he knew that right now, you were taking the time to give your silent and respectful goodbye to your best friend. Your sister. Your trusted confidant. Your soulmate. And every other way you can describe someone who felt like a part of you. Jake didn't interfere with your very last moment with your spirit sister, seeing as you stroked the skin right above Eylti's eye with your thumb gently and a solemn look on your face. It wasn't until you turned around abruptly and wrapped your arms around Jake's neck that he finally felt like he could be part of your healing and moving on but keeping your spirit sister's memory until the end of your time.

He didn't hesitate to wrap one of his arms around your waist and hips, while the other cradled the back of your head against the crook of his neck. He gently pulled you closer until your body was pressed up against his and you two stayed like that for several moments and as neither of you said a word. Him pulling you closer only made you tighten your arms around him as you tried to get as close to him as possible. Contact with him has been the only thing keeping you sane, and you wish you didn't have to let go because this is exactly where you always wanted to be. When Jake started running his hand up and down your hair, running his fingers through it as he rocked your body with his from side to side, he leaned down his head and pressed a gentle and soft kiss to your temple and then the crown of your head. He felt his entire body flutter with happiness when he felt you press a loving and silent kiss to his neck in response to his the affection he was giving you. You didn't even need to say anything. Your actions of gratitude towards his comforting presence spoke to him more than a million words ever could, and even if you had that many words to say, he would listen to them all and never get tired of it. But its almost as if you heard his thoughts because that's when you started to finally speak up.

"Ma Jake..." You started as your voice began to waver and shake, only making you tuck yourself further into his body and the nape of his neck so he wouldn't have to notice how choked up you were becoming when it was just you and him and you didn't have to pretend to be okay in front of Ronal and Tonowari. But Jake caught this from a mile away, and he knew what you were trying to do. He exhaled through this nose and let a small smile grace his lips as he used his hand to cup your cheek and lift your face from his neck, only to see what he had expected. Brimming tears. You sniffled as he used his pointer finger to tilt your chin up and used his hand on your waist to draw circles on your skin. Nothing was said as he locked his eyes onto yours and was so close that he could see every shade and color of your turquoise irises. You never failed to remind him how beautiful you are every single day. Even with tears in your eyes, you're just as beautiful as the first day he met you. And he could only feel falling in love with you all
over again as you began to speak up again.

"I love you so much," You muttered as you couldn't bring yourself to look away from Jake's gaze. At your words, Jake felt his breathing come to a halt and his heart grow bigger and fonder. No many times he heard you say those three words, he could never get over how right it felt. And how much he felt like it would be truly impossible for you to reciprocate how much he loved you. It was just that much, and that standard raised every time you said those words. And it wasn't possible for him to take any more, but you continued to speak your soul and heart out to him. "Jake, I...I wouldn't have been able to endure any of this without you by my side. I don't know what i'd do without you. You mean everything to me, so please...I need you by my side. Thank you for being here, for being so...understanding, for protecting me, for being so forgiving, and above all, thank you for being such a great husband to me and giving me so much of your unconditional love. I can't wait...to be with you for the rest of our lives" You said as tears just started to fall freely. Jake's breath felt like it was caught in his throat, but even so, what he could do was show you with a big smile how happy your words made him. All that you just said is exactly how he feels about you if not more. He couldn't possibly express how happy he is that you're in his life and that you came into it as one of the greatest gifts Eywa could have sent him. He'd stand by everything you said. He'd love you, protect you, understand you, carry your burdens with you, always forgive you, and be the best husband he could possibly be until the day for you both to part has to come. Even then, he hopes your love is strong enough that not even Eywa can pull you two apart. But until then, he simply cannot imagine a day without walking up next to you, going through adventure after adventure by your side, and carrying your pain with him so you don't ever have to suffer alone ever again.

Jake sighed shakily as he brought himself closer to you and pushed your hair back as he threaded his hand in your hair and locked eyes with you, wanting you to hear every word he says. He doesn't want you to miss any of it You two didn't have much time before you two left for the village, so he'd have to make it quick, because he knew once they went back, it would all turn to hell. He had to say it now or he never could. He brought his face close to yours that his breath mingled with yours and his forehead was pressed up against yours. "Please..." He started, moving his face a bit to place a gentle kiss on your cheek and once he departed, he let his lips linger on your skin, as his breathing tickled your skin while he spoke again. "Don't ever..." He continued, but moved his face to kiss your other cheek, taking a momentary break in between words. "doubt that I will be there for you," He whispered and then closed his eyes as he moved up to your forehead and pressed his lips against it before continuing on to speak. "You've taken over my mind, my soul, my heart, and everything about me. And I don't regret it one bit" He said against your skin, and then he moved down to slightly to leave a kiss on your cat-like Na'vi nose he's always found so endearing, leaving there yet another kiss.

"I'd do anything for you," He said, and you closed your eyes at the sensation, and as he wanted, you took in everything he was saying attentively, engraving his words in your mind and your heart. And then, when he finally pressed his lips against your sweetly, he pulled away after a couple seconds and whispered. "I love you, Y/n. More than you'll ever know, and I'll spend the rest of my life by your side without thinking it twice. I'm not going anywhere," He said and that's when the waterworks started to flow uncontrollably once again, making you unable to do anything else but to throw your arms around him again, pulling him as close to you as possible. You don't want to be apart from him ever again, in any way. Emotionally or physically, either way, you wanted to be by his side until the end and now you know that he did too just as much.

It seems that you were too into the embrace with Jake, wanting to stay there with him and not go back to reality, that you didn't notice Tonowari starting to call you and Jake, letting you two know that the group was about to head back. Jake heard it, but it seemed that you hadn't so your mate sighed and looked down at you in his arms as he held you close. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to the crown of your head, rubbing his hand up and down your arm to get your attention. "Y/n...baby. We have to head back, it's time," He whispered, and it took you a couple seconds before you finally lifted your head your head from his neck with a sniffle and nodded. Just as when you had arrived, you positioned yourself in front of Jake and he held your waist from behind as you had connected your queue to Pua and began to command him to lead him over to your adoptive parents who were waiting with the other warriors. But, even as you headed over, you started to feel yourself shrink in shame as you felt the eyes of the rest of the warriors on you with pity. You kept your head down and avoided any eye contact. You felt small and embarrassed. But even if you knew your reaction was justified, you couldn't help but feel like you wished it had only been your parents and Jake. But this felt uncomfortable.

Seeing this, and the way the bystanders were loooking at you, Jake noticed your reaction and did something about it. He knew you weren't looking so he openly glared at any warrior who made you feel more inferior and pained than you already did. Anyone who Jake's glare fell on, they immediately looked away and turned around as if they weren't looking in the first place. He wouldn't allow anyone to feel worse just as you were saying goodbye for the last time to your spirit sister; and even so, because of their glares, you couldn't even look up and turn to look at her one last time. That's why Jake used his hand to tilt your head up by your chin, and guided you to look forward. You were hesitant but when you saw that no one was staring anymore, you felt like you could breathe momentarily. "You can look, Y/n" Jake whispered and your breath hitched when you realized what he meant. You looked into his eyes for a second before you slowly turned your head to look back over Jake's shoulder, and the sight made a stinging pain in your chest return.

As Pua followed after Tonowari and Ronal's Skimwings, you could only see as Eylti's floating and deceased body, as well as her mate's, only get farther and farther away. This would really be the last time you'd see her again. You couldn't ever expect to see her when Tulkun's return and hear all about her life and if she ever got to have her calf. Never again. The thought made you turn away quickly and made those annoying tears return and when they did, you grabbed Jake's free hand and hugged it close to your body as your mate instinctively held your waist even closer and pressed a loving kiss to the side of your head. You couldn't bring yourself to turn around again. It's too painful and all you can do is try to replace your last look at her with the last time you saw her alive. It's the only thing that brought you comfort, and even that, was not even the minimum of what you needed to even begin to accept her tragic ending. Jake only whispered 'It's gonna be okay. I promise. You'll be okay,' he said, and you could only nod as small hiccups left your lips. But the thing is, would really ever be okay? When would you really be able to feel like your insides weren't closing in on you in agony? You didn't want to suffer anymore. When will this pain end? It's all you could think about on the way back to the village, leaving Eylti behind forever.

-

The ride back was painfully silent and slow to say the least, but at least you could start to heal now. Accept it, somehow. And you were glad Jake was by your side to be with you through it all. He's already done so much, whether it was trying to protect you from even seeinf Eylti, to then comforting you during your moment of grief, and even afterwards when numbness was all you felt. He was there through it all, and now as you, him, Tonowari, Ronal, and the warriors all came back to the village. As you expected, nothing was the same and everything was quick to turn to the chaos you knew that it would. When it became clear to all of the Awa'atlu villagers, including the both yours and Jake's and Tonowari and Ronal's kids, that the Olo'eyktan, almost all of the warriors and you and Jake had left the village, most people knew that by now, something had really gone horribly wrong and people became anxious.

When you, Jake, Tonowari, Ronal, and the warriors all arrived at the beach where you had originally left from earlier, you all got off your Skimwings and rushed towards the village on the soft sand of the peninsula while Tonowari was quick to grab Ronal's hand and give the now-deactivated tracker to Jake. People had rushed out of their homes and began to crowd the peninsula where you and Jake were rushing to catch up with Ronal and Tonowari. In fear of leaving you alone, Jake grabbed your hand, intertwined his fingers with yours and began to push through the crowd with you close behind while people murmured about the strange device on Jake's hand. Your husband wanted to get you out of this situation as fast as possible and in the distance, it was suddenly clear to hear Tonowari yelling; "Everyone join at the village center! Right now!" Tonowari exclaimed, and that's when those joined around the beach began to rush to where Tonowari had told them to go. Soon after everyone rushed out, you and Jake finally had more space to yourselves so while still holding your hand, without rushing you, he began to lead you over to the communal area of the village, where it was clear to see that people were already becoming antsy and nervous. People were murmuring anxiously amongst each other, chattering and rumoring. Nobody knew why they were being gathered together especially with such a harsh and urgent tone from the Olo'eyktan himself all of a sudden.

As Tonowari had rounded up the villagers in the village's communal area, him and Ronal were up at the center overloooking everyone while you and Jake were making your way through the crowd of people in order to find your children and keep them close while Tonowari explained the situation which would be any moment now. When you and Jake could see your children in front of the crowd waiting for the news, both of you spotted them and Jake halted in his tracks to turn around to look at you. He let go of your hand only to cup your cheeks and wipe away the raindrops on your cheeks that had begun to fall and had landed on the two of you. "Y/n. Look for the kids, stay with them, okay? Keep them close," Jake said as you nodded without hesitation as he was quick to peck your lips and then leave you to go through the crowd and walk to the front of it to stand in front of Tonowari and Ronal with tge tracker still in his grasp, already turned off. As for you, as Jake said, you went through countless people in the crowd until you could see Kiri and Tuk at the front. You sighed in relief and the sight of your children already made you feel your pain dissipate so much in a tremendous way. You could see that Kiri stood tall as Tuk held onto Kiri's leg, in visible fear.

Your heart clenched at the sight which only made you walk faster until you finally reached them. "Kiri! Tuk!" You yelled over the chatter of the people, and the girls immediately heard you. They turned around at the sound of your voice and mention of their names. Their eyes widened and your two daughters immediately started to rush towards you. You got onto your knees and welcomed them both into your arms. Kiri on one side of you and Tuk on the other. "Mama..." Tuk whimpered as she tucked herself onto your side. Your youngest began to tremble even more than before from what you saw from afar. You raised your hand to stroke her hair and shushed her gently, reassuring her that you were there for them both now.

"I'm here now," You whispered, which only made Tuk hide into you even more. While making sure Tuk was at ease, you then turned your attention to Kiri who was holding onto you just as tightly. You turned your head slightly to lean your head against the side of hers, and said once again; "I'm here now...don't be afraid," You whispered, feeling as Kiri's breathing was beginning to pick up. Your heart shattered even more than before. They must've been so scared, to see such chaos while you and Jake were gone. But you were here now, and you wouldn't leave them ever again. "Mom..." Kiri muttered as she sniffled and you could feel her holding on even tighter. You wrapped your arms around both of your daughters' heads, cradling them close in hopes of ceasing their fear now that you and Jake were back. You also began to wonder where Neteyam and Lo'ak were, and you'd ask Kiri and Tuk, but you hoped they would appear in the crowd at some point. You needed to make sure they were okay. Not only them but also Ao'nung and Tsireya who must've been just as terrified and lost to see such unusual chaos in their home.

Shortly after, you separated from your daughters but then made your way to the front of the crowd with them as you picked up Tuk and settled her on your hip, prompting the girl to wrap her small arms around your neck and tucking her face into your neck as some sort of protection. As for Kiri, as the three of you stood at the front, the girl stayed by your side and linked her arm with yours, staying close. It seemed that Tonowari would start speaking soon, and when you looked around the crowd, you could see Neteyam across from you which made you sigh in relief to yourself. He was okay. You also saw that he was holding onto the tracker now, which means that Jake most likely gave it to him to hold on while your husband attempted to persuade Tonowari to approach this situation a different way. But now, the last piece of the puzzle before you were completely at ease was Lo'ak. You still haven't seen him, but he had to be around here somewhere so you kept your eyes peeled for any signs of your youngest son.

As tension began to grow, and the tragedy of your spirit sister would be revealed soon, as you held onto your daughters, you really did try your best to put up a face of courage and a lot of confidence to show you weren't afraid, but your body language betrayed you. Kiri could feel you trembling and looking around with fear and anxiety you were clearly trying to mask for the sake of the kids. When Neteyam walked over to stand next to you and his sisters, you couldn't hold a hand out to him but when you made eye contact with your oldest son, you smiled in relief and he returned it, quickly making his way over and standing next to Tuk, who was still on your hip. Almost all of your kids were present but Lo'ak was still nowhere to be found and it worried you.

As you looked around for Lo'ak, your eyes came across another heartbreaking sight. Tsireya, the young girl you consider your own sister was standing on her own in the front of the crowd like you were with your kids as she held a tearful expression on her face. She had a couple tears streaming down her face at the chaos and her people being in such a state of frenzy. She was such a sweet girl and too good for this world that whatever war or battle was about to ensue, she really didn't deserve to go through any of it. None of these kids did at all. They've already seem so much for a lifetime that you wished you could turn them away from it all. You watched as she closed her eyes and let her head hang low, filling you with shame as you can't even imagine what will happen or how she'll react, and everyone else too, when Tonowari reveals why everyone has been gathered, and you had a feeling that it would start at any moment and from that moment, there would be no going back.

Before the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan began rallying up the people, you turned your head to look at Tsireya and saw how she was keeping to herself holding her arms to herself, trying to hold back stray tears. Without thinking it twice, you spoke up as loudly as you could over the chattering of the villagers. "Tsireya" You exclaimed, getting the girl's attention right away. When she caught sight of you, you smiled at her softly as best as you could muster and used your head to gesture for her to come closer. She gave you a pained smile and began to walk closer and stood by Kiri's side, once again, looking out to her own parents in the center of everyone else. You smiled to yourself at least knowing she was surrounded by your children and you now, and that she wasn't alone. The look she gave you before told you how grateful she really was that you called her over, as if she was desperately looking for a chance to get someone by her side through all of this, knowing that it would only get harder.

And then, before you knew it, it finally begun as Ronal started speaking. You involuntarily held your breath and suddenly felt your body freeze, but trying to stay calm around the kids. You, Neteyam, Tuk, Tsireya and Kiri all watched intently as Tonowari and Ronal stood close together while the rain outside the huge communal tent began to get harsher with every passing second. While you had been able to hide your agony from your features after saying goodbye to Eylti, Ronal's pain for your loss was starting to be mirrored in her face. Thw Tsahik had grief and anguish written all over her face, but it was also filled with a sense of vengeance. To avenge you, Eylti and all of the other Tulkun that have died at the hands of the Sky People. And the most dreaded words that you were not looking forward for people to hear were finally said by Ronal. "My People! My daughter's spirit sister and her mate have been murdered by the Sky People!" Ronal said with pain laced in her voice. And as you expected, everyone started murmuring and chattering as they looked at you in surprise, causing you to hang your head down in shame once again at the stares of pity and surprise of everyone else.

But the stares that affected you the most were of the kids. Your own children. Kiri and Tuk had looked up from the hold they had on you and their eyes were wide at the revelation. It was the same for Neteyam and Tsireya, who watched as you lifted your head and sniffled away tears that had managed to brim your eyes. All this time since you came back, it had been right after receiving the most devastating news you could have ever recieved and you had been acting as if the news and why they had all been gathered wasn't because of you. You held your head high for them, gave them so much reassurance and love while they felt their own fear but it was nothing compared to the world of hurt you were being put through.

You really hid your agony for them so that they wouldn't feel scared. And Tsireya being from the Metkayina really couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't imagine losing her spirit sister, much less the way you did. And the way you're putting that aside for their wellbeing was so honorable and admirable that they could barely believe it. "Mama? Are you okay?" Tuk said as she looked at you with concern of what you might be going through internally, and even so, you didn't fail to send her a warm smile that told your youngest that you were okay. That their concerns mean more than anything. While Kiri and Tuk only hugged you even tighter, Neteyam and Tsireya came closer from either side and wrapped their arms around you as well. They couldn't even imagine the pain you must be hiding just to make sure they were alright before even thinking about yourself. It was their turn to be there for you. You could barely hold yourself together, but you had to be strong for your people, your children, your adoptive parents, your husband, and everyone you care about in this world.

Even through the chaos, Jake couldn't help but let his heart warm at the kids not hesitating to be there by your side when you need it. The bond you've built with all of them is almost unmeasurable, and he knew that he could count on them to be there by your side at any time. You've really stepped up as their mother and someone they can trust. That's all Jake has ever wanted from you becoming a possible role model for them, and it seems like its coming true. They loved you as much as you loved them, if not more. But even so, nothing could stop the stares from everyone in the village as the tragedy was revealed, but as much as he wanted to, this time there was nothing he could do to stop it but simply continue with trying to convince Tonowari and Ronal to go about all this in a different way. But the people were already getting more and more riled up with every second so his chances were slimmer.

The villagers continued to murmur amongst each other at these news, with some still looking at you and whispering. Chaos was just rising more and more and all warriors were holding their spears and other weaponry, solely to want to fight to protect the Tulkuns from the Sky People, wanting to avenge what was lost. They were outraged, burning with the desire to drive out those demons that have committed the atrocities that they did, and for doing this to you as well. Tonowari continued to stand tall before the Metkayina people, holding his own spear that was so long that it towered over him.

As she continued to stay by your side, Tsireya continued to cry silently as she closed her eyes tightly and sniffled, not only because of what was revealed but also because of your own pain that you hid for the sake of everyone else. It was honorable how strong you tried to remain, but it made her sad to know something so vile had happened to someone like you. Her #1 role model, older sister, best friend, was suffering and none of them knew it. You knew Tsireya was upset and when you turned your head to see how she was trying her best to hold it in, trying to stay strong like you, but it was enough for you to notice. Without a second thought, you extended the arm you had around Kiri and had Tsireya come into your embrace along with your oldest daughter. Tsireya moved closer to you, continuing to let tears stream down her cheeks. To her, you have been an inspiration and an example. She admires you for having such a strong heart, for being so strong for the rest of the village and everyone you love. This is one the cases where she feels like she learns the most from you and her inspiration has always been and will be you, no matter what. Now, their worst fears had come true and it was only a matter of time someone else got hurt, or worse, lost their life in the process. War was unpredictable and unfortunately, this was the perfect example of how something perfect can go wrong very easily and very fast.
