๐—ฅ๐—”๐—œ๐—ก ๐—›๐—”๐—— ๐—ก๐—ข๐—ช fallen over Pandora's forest, as nighttime had also developed over the time the group of teens, and Tuk had been kidnap. They were all now standing up, the Avatar's having a rough hold on their braids so they wouldn't move.

Many animal noises were also heard over the pouring rain, as Quaritch stalks behind the group with his gun, watching the forest as he knew who was coming.

Unknown to them, Jake and Ney'tiri were very close, up in the trees as they share a look, and the male Na'vin signals his wife to go left. They split ways, as Ney'tiri places a hand on the branch, leaping over it and sneakily made her way more to the enemy.

"Watch our six." Quaritch tells the one holding (Y/N), and Lo'ak, as he moves a bit away from them.

Lo'ak growls a little in warning as he, and (Y/N) were roughly shoved to the front, the gun aimed at the girls head making her tense up a little bit, holding Lo'aks hand tighter in hers.

However, a familiar noise in the distance has all the Na'vi teens and Tuk's ears perking up, twitching a little as they hear the sound. (Y/N)'s looks at Lo'ak through her wet hair, as he stares knowingly back, squeezing her hand reassuringly.

Up in the trees, Ney'tiri moved to lean against one with her back, her bow and arrow in hand as she yips to her children, signalling them that they were here.

In the shadows of the ground, Jake's silhouette appeared as he held his axe weapon in one hand, creeping up behind a Avatar soldier. He goes to attack silently, knocking him out as quiet as possible and places him on the ground.

At the same time, Ney'tiri was peeking out from the tree cover, aiming her bow and arrow at the Avatar who was holding (Y/N), and Lo'ak. However, she couldn't get a clean shot without the girl getting hurt, and the mother would never take the aim if it meant hurting (Y/N).

She releases an angry breath, frustrated she couldn't get the aim right, but then her eyes lock onto (Y/N)'s from far below, just briefly seeing her nod her head. Ney'tiri, trusting she would move, takes a deep breath and releases the arrow, hitting the male Avatar in the head, his body hitting the ground, dead.

This caused the Avatars to shout and yell, as (Y/N) hisses a little when she was shoved harsly out of the way, but landed in Lo'aks chest who caught her. Three of the Avatars go to fire their guns at Ney'tiri, but she just quickly avoids them and hides behind the thick branch.

"Stay close," Lo'ak whispered against (Y/N)'s ear, causing them to twitch as she goes to question him, but he pushes her behind him, and unclips the smoke grenade on the Avatar's belt close to them, causing green smoke to appear out from it.

(Y/N), understanding what was happening runs to where Tuk was, kneeing the Avatar holding her in the stomach and pulls her to safety, "Tuk! Come on!" She shouts over the gun fire, running with the small girl as Lo'ak joins them, placing a hand on the teens back as they dodge all the Avatars and gun fire.

While the children sprint to safety, it was time for the parents to make an appearance. Jake runs up behind an Avatar, as he turns and deflects his swing with his gun, but Jake had the upper hand and sliced his axe weapon against his body with a grunt, causing the Avatar to drop.

Quaritch was behind the big branch the teens were hold against, as he looks at his fallen comrade, seeing the familiar feather arrow that was lodged on his body. He breathes heavily, holding up his gun as he unclips the finished amo, and places another one into the slot. "That you Mrs, Sully?" He calls out to the woman not far from him, "I recognise that calling card."

Ney'tiri doesn't say anything in response, as she hides behind her cover, focus on getting her family to safety. Quaritch hand signals to one of his comrades, as the Avatar aims in another direction to where he was going, for cover. "Why don't you come out, Mrs Sully? You and I have some unfinished business."

As he was speaking this, Ney'tiri spots the group of teens and Tuk running to safety, making her less preoccupied with worry about them. "Demon!" She finally shouts back, entering warrior mode with a scowl, "I will kill you as many times as I have to!"

"You and the corporal got pretty busy, didn't you?" While he was yelling back to her, some of the Avatar's were slowly advancing on her position, guns aimed, "Got yourself a whole litter, one of them being a very special half-breed, huh?"

Ney'tiris ear flatten with nervousness and her breath hitches, as she understood who he was talking about. There was a reason why not many knew about (Y/N), and it was for the exact reason, that she was special and shouldn't be known about for her safety.

Ney'tiri was so lost in her thought, that she didn't sense or notice a Avatar's gun was locked onto her head, ready to pull the trigger on her.

Though, before the male Avatar could pull the trigger, something, rather someone had thrown a weapon at his back, instantly taking him out. Standing there, with a heaven chest was Neteyam, the one who saved his mother.

One of the Avatars down below saw this happen and yelled out a threat, pulling up his gun and aimed it at Neteyam, as the teen did the same with his bow and arrow, but before he could attack, Jake grabbed his son, pulling them both away as the gun fires at them.

"Go! Go!" Jake urges through a shout, pushing his son by behind a tree as they both take cover from the gun fire on them. He looks to his son, "You ready?!" He yells his question over the gun noises.

"Yes, sir!" Neteyam answers back with the same tone, and then his father spins around the tree, firing his gun at the Avatars who were attacking them.

"Move!" Jake orders as more come out with bigger guns, making sure his son was beside him as they jump over the many branches in their way, dodging the heat of the incoming bullets.

Ney'tiri hears the commotion, yelling out as she also jumps down from her position, running along the branch to safety. Though, she exclaims when one of the Avatars had fired a explosive at her, causing the female to trip and fall. She stands back up with a gasp, continuing on with her sprinting along the tree.

"Go, go, go!" Spider and Kiri were a bit behind, (Y/N), Tuk and Lo'ak as the two sprint through the forest, though suddenly one of the Avatars releases another explosive from his gun, landing directly behind Spider and caused the teen to lose his balance, and fall down onto the ground with a shout.

"Spider?" Kiri questions in a worried tone, not seeing him behind her anymore as she heard the loud noise of the explosion. Her eyes quickly caught onto where he was, making her heart drop, "Spider!" She cries out, wanting to jump down.

Before she could, her adopted mother jumped down onto the branch, "Kiri!" She pulls the teen up, despite her yelling for Spider and leads her away from the scene.

Down below where Spider was, Quaritch and the remaining Avatars slide, and jump down to get to him. His so called father, touches the teens back, flipping him over and saw his state, injured and eyes barely open.

"Fall back!" He orders, as his comrades repeat what he said, and Miles picks up Spider, placing him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, and they disappear into the Pandora forest.

Somewhere a bit away from the Avatars, the other three Na'vis were still escaping. "Come on! Go, go!" (Y/N) exclaims to Tuk who was lagging behind as they run away, the girls hands no longer tied together thanks to Lo'ak, who was currently making sure the two girls run in front of him.

Suddenly, before they could get any further, someone had jumped down in front of them, startling them as Lo'ak swiftly manoeuvred (Y/N) behind him. Though, they all relax once they spot, and hear who it was.

"Hey, you good? Are any of you hurt?" Jake quickly tumbles out his question, checking over the two oldest as he presses a hand to (Y/N)'s cheek, checking her for any harm. Once he didn't spot anything, he went to hug his youngest who was crying from being scared, and happiness seeing her father, as he calms her.

Someone else jumped from a branch, making a thump noise that catches (Y/N)'s attention as she moves out from behind Lo'ak, who was now being hugged by Jake. Neteyam was standing there, and her eyes slightly welled up in tears when their eyes made eye contact.

The male Na'vi didn't waste a second, and rushed up to the girl, pulling her into his arms, and held her protectively against his chest, as he sighed in utter relief.

"Neteyam." She cried out a little, pushing her head into the crook of his neck as her arms wrapped around his back. The girl was still shaken up from before, and even if Lo'ak made her feel safe, nothing could beat the feeling of being in Neteyam's arms.

"You're okay, I've got you." He whispered cooed against the side of her head, pressing his lips onto the skin as he rocked them from side to side a little, one of his hand behind her head, while the other rested on her lower back.

A bright light shone down on the family, making everyone break apart as a helicopter was seen hovering above the ground, the trees and bushes swaying in effect from the blades wind.

The Avatars soldiers were seen running up the the aircraft, as they clip their hooks onto the ropes thrown down from them to attach to. Quaritch still had Spider over his shoulder, as he attached his hook and was pulled up into the aircraft with all his fellow Avatars.

Jake glared and scowled at the view, standing in front of his family protectively as they all watched the aircraft disappear into the night with its beaming headlights.

"Mom!" Tuk exclaimed as Ney'tiri and Kiri had appeared from the side of the group, and the youngest hugs her mother tightly.

Kiri spotted (Y/N) a few feet in front and walked up to her with teary eyes, making the girl frown with worry. She didn't question it, also pulling Kiri into a tight hug, and Tuk ended up joining, hugging (Y/N)'s legs as Ney'tiri wraps her arms around the three girls.

"Thank you Great Mother, thank you." Ney'tiri breathes out in solace, her spare hand behind (Y/N)'s head as she hugs her girls to her chest, thanking Eywa for the protection.

"Where's Spider?" Lo'ak goes to question once all the hugs had been broken, him and his brother standing on either side of (Y/N), as they all look at a upset Kiri.

"They took him," Kiri answers him, voice laced with sadness as her bottom lip quivers a bit, "They took him!" Her shoulders start to shake, showing she was crying as Jake kneels down and holds his daughter, consoling her gently.

(Y/N) watches with a sad face, feeling her heart sink in sorrow knowing how much Spider meant to Kiri. She takes a glance at the brothers next to her, seeing their faces were not happy also. She couldn't imagine losing them, the thought of that makes her stomach twist just thinking about it.

The Na'vi girl shakes her head and swallows a little bit, using both hands to grab their arms and pull them into her side, causing them to stumble a little bit as she turns her front to them.

Neteyam and Lo'ak stare down at the quiet (Y/N), questionable looks on their faces as they didn't know why she did that, as she was always not one for affection in front of people.

However, they spot her wet cheeks from crying, and share a brief look between each other. They wrap one of their arms around her back, and inclosed her body in between theirs in a reassuring hold, as they rested their foreheads against her shoulders.

...

The next day, back up in the Hallelujah mountains, Tuk was sitting on the ground, bending her head to see through the hut to see what all the commotion was about, as Jake and Ney'tiri arguing shouts were heard.

(Y/N) was next to her, placing a hand against the tent as Kiri was down sitting with Tuk. The green and blue eyed girl smiled a little as the two brothers joined them, but quickly motioned to be quiet so they could listen to the voices.

Neteyam squatted in front of the standing (Y/N), leaning his back against her legs, while Lo'ak stood up with her, both of them bending slightly to hear what the parents were saying inside the hut.

"I cannot leave my people." Ney'tiri was telling her husband inside the hut, grabbing a pink bag and placed it onto the ground as she placed things in it.

"He's hunting us." Jake fired back, knowing his wife was against leaving their home as she shakes her head, "He's targeting our family."

Ney'tiri spined her body around at this, eyes flat against her head, "You cannot ask this!" She shouted back, standing up to walk to him, "The children, everything they've ever known, the forest! This is our home!"

"He had (Y/N), and our children. He had them under his knife." Jake strains out, gesturing the motion said with his hand as his eyebrows were furrowed.

Ney'tiri pauses at this, words stopping as she looks down with big eyes and looks over to the bow and arrow hanging up, "My father gave this bow, as he lay dying!" She cries out, voice breaking a little as she holds up the object to Jake, "And he said protect the people. You're Toruk Makto!"

"This will protect the people!" Jake yells, trying to prove this point as he points to his left, "Quaritch has Spider, and that kid knows everything! He knows our hole operation!"

From outside, all the kids were sharing looks at the parents yelling and arguing, as (Y/N)'s ears were down, looking at the ground with furrowed brows, as she felt out of place here listening to the voices

"Look, I got nothing. I got no plan." Jake was finishing in angry rant to Ney'tiri, who remind quiet with a conflicted expression. Jake's lips go into a straight line, dropping his head a little, "But, I can protect this family, that I can do."

Ney'tiri lets out a heavy breath, eyes teary as she places a hand against her forehead, letting Jake's words sink in as her eyes close.

Jake steps forward to get closer, standing directly in front of her as he speaks his determined words, "But I know one thing, wherever we go, this family is our fortress."

The female Na'vi sniffles a little bit, a lone tear falling from her eye as she made up her mind, and gets taken into a comforting hug by Jake, sealing what was going to happen next.

...

All the Omatikaya clan were gathered by the Tree Of Souls, as they all watched with heavy heart as Jake was stepping down from their leader, and the role was now placed onto another male Na'vi.

"This is like stones in my heart."

The male Na'vi, Tarsem was standing next to Jake, as Mo'at places the shoulder sized, beautiful native coat the Na'vi wear as the Olo'eyktan on his body.

"Tarsem is wise for his years, he will be a strong Olo'eyktan."

Tarsem holds up a medium size tooth from an animal, something native to tradition as he releases a small shout, and stabs the tooth into Jake's chest.

"The leader must die..."

The tooth knife is removed with a grunt, as some blood spills from the small cut on Jake's chest, as he looks at Tarsem with a firm nod, having a solemn expression shown.

"....so a new leader can be born....Toruk Makto will disappear."

Jake now walks down the path his, well old clan made as they all look at him with understanding expressions. Ney'tiri was behind him, silently crying as (Y/N) holds her hand with a small sad frown, Kiri and Tuk behind them both as they walk down the path.

"The people will be safe."

...

Now all the Sully family, plus (Y/N) were in the skies of Pandora on their Banshees as they were about to leave their home behind, important things they needed to survive on some of their Banshees.

(Y/N)'s Banshee was (Y/F/C), and he had small patches of blue on his skin, with black stripes along his back and wings. His name being Malik, meaning land and sea, prior to years of thinking of that name.

The girl was flying on him in between the brothers on theirs, as she places a hand on his back, and takes a last glance at her home, the only home she's ever known since she's been born. (Y/N) blinks back the tears in her eyes, feeling a sinking hole in heart grow the more they fly away from forest.

Malik chittered a little bit, feeling his riders sadness as she turns back around and speaks through her mind down the bond, reassuring him she was alright with a gentle rub to his skin also.

Two more calling noises of Banshee's were heard, as Neteyam and Lo'ak direct their animals beside hers, and this caused (Y/N) to look at them both.

The three of them held eye contact, knowing they were all feeling the same about leaving their home. However, the boys give her a small, but comforting smile and she returns it half heartedly, pulling the warm material wrapped around her tighter to her skin.

Jake watched the entire exchange between them, his heart heavy with emotion as he frowns knowing how hard this was on everyone, especially (Y/N).

"A father protects. It's what gives him meaning. When life ends, another beings."

...

The family had traveled far and wide, as they now were passing some very choppy waters as the weather was even worse. The rain was pouring down, with the winds and waves being fought against by the Banshee's they were all on.

...

Once the group had passed the fierce weather, they were now flying over beautiful clear waters, that showed every little thing underneath as it was that clear.

"The sea clans are a world in itself. Thousands of islands, unknown territory that way can vanish without a trace."

The sun was just rising over the horizon, sitting a nice warm hue across the skies. (Y/N) was currently asleep against Neteyam's chest, as her Banshee flew directly next to her, keeping a watchful eye on his owner.

The Na'vi girl was already falling asleep on Malik, so Neteyam offered to support the girl, despite Lo'aks grumbling about it. Her back was against his chest, her body in between his legs while one of his arms rested around her waist, and her face was tucked into his neck.

Neteyam turned his head to look at her, small puffs of breath from her mouth hitting his skin, making him shiver a little at the feeling. He gently adjust her, cooing softly when she made a noise and shushed her back to sleep, as he presses a lingering kiss against her forehead.

...

Now the skies were fully bright and radiant as the sun had fully come up. The family had traveled to their destination, as a marvelous society came into view.

(Y/N) was back on Malik, her eyes were wide and bright as she looked around at her surroundings. All their Banshees flew over some massive, circled thick tree roots in the water, as the clear blue waves splashed against them.

They all hear the sounds of the Metkayina people making calling noises, as some were down in the little water pools, and their attention was drawn on the family.

The view of the Metkayina's clan home base was also coming into eyesight now, as the groups Banshee's flew closer and closer to the sandy beach. The sound of a horn being blown also was heard, most likely blowing it for their arrival.

(Y/N), Lo'ak and Neteyam all share a wide smile, feeling their hearts beating faster with excitement, as they had arrived at the place where (Y/N) always wanted to go.

The water-dwelling Na'vi, the Metkayina clan.
