"pyaar jhootha tha jataya hi kyu
aise jaana tha to aaya hu kyu?"

JANHAVI

As the morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the breakfast table, I couldn't shake the weight of the previous night's revelations from my mind. My conversation with Shubman had shed new light on Ishan ji's past, revealing a painful truth that I had been oblivious to before. All the anger and resentment I had harbored towards him after the reception incident had melted away, replaced by a deep sense of empathy.

He has gone through a lot.

I glanced across the table at Ishan ji, who was lost in thought, his expression pensive as he stirred his tea. I wanted to reach out to him, to offer some measure of comfort in the wake of everything he had endured. But before I could find the right words, there was a knock at the door, interrupting the quiet moment between us.

Ishan glanced up, surprise flickering across his features as a man entered the room, his demeanor solemn and professional.

"Good morning, Ishan sir," the man greeted, his voice tinged with authority. "I'm your lawyer. We need to discuss some important matters regarding your recent decision."

Ishan's brow furrowed in confusion as he exchanged a quick glance with me. "My recent decision?" he echoed, his tone being uncertain.

The lawyer nodded, taking a seat at the table as he unfolded a stack of papers before him. "Yes, regarding the divorce proceedings with Mrs. Kishan," he clarified, his eyes scanning the documents in front of him.

Ishan ji nodded, and leaned forward. "Actually our registry is not yet done" he said.

My thoughts wandered off.

He appointed a lawyer just after I mentioned divorce.

And as the lawyer launched into a discussion of legal intricacies and procedural details, I couldn't keep listening to them, I was too distracted to.

ISHAN

The mention of divorce by Janhavi ji was too much for me but I didn't express it even a bit. If she wants divorce then she should get it.

Obviously why would she stick with me. Aditi ne bola tha na, I'm very difficult to live with.

The lawyer was here talking about the formalities of our case.

"Sir you said that you haven't done the registry yet, then you are not lawfully wedded to Mrs Kishan"

I nodded in agreement.

"Sir so if you want, you can get separated from her today itself but as far as I think, that would do much harm to your public image."

Before I could say anything, Janhavi ji spoke up, "Lawyer ji, we are not doing anything that harms Ishan Ji's public image. Find some other way."

She doesn't want to live with me, yet cares about my public image?

"Yes mam sure, for that I have another way out. Aap dono registry karwa lijiye and then stay together for atleast six months. Then aap mutual divorce file kijiye."

I looked at Janhavi ji

Why would she live with me for six months?

"Can't we do a backdate registry? Then we wouldn't need to live together for more six months?" I argued.

"Sir that could have been possible for other people but since you are a celebrity, this is a bit difficult. But of course we can reduce the six months to one or two maybe ." he said.

"Okay thank you" Janhavi ji replied.

"Now Mam, I need some proper reasons to file this divorce?" the lawyer asked her.

"It was an accidental marriage, Janhavi ji was supposed to get married to my brother but then he backed off on the day of the wedding. We got married that day but now we think it was a wrong decision." I replied half heartedly.

The lawyer nodded, completed some documents, thanked us and made his way to the exit door.

JANHAVI

As soon as the lawyer left, I got up and went to my room. I couldn't help but marvel at the fact that Ishan ji was so so into getting me off his life that he even agreed on backdate registry, which is illegal as far as I know. I inwardly chuckled at my fate.

It was clear that Ishan ji was determined to expedite our separation, willing to bend the rules to achieve his goal. But amidst the turmoil of our impending divorce, there was a nagging question that lingered in the back of my mind.

Was this truly what I wanted?

I couldn't deny the hurt and confusion swirling within me, stemming from Ishan ji's past and our turbulent present. Yet, there was a part of me that hesitated to sever ties completely. Despite everything, there had been moments of genuine connection between us, moments that whispered of what could have been.

Lost in thought, I heard a knock at the door, pulling me from my reverie. With a sigh, I rose to answer it, finding Ishan ji standing on the other side, his expression unreadable.

"Janhavi ji," he began, his voice tinged with hesitation. "I know this situation is difficult for both of us. But I want you to know that whatever happens, I'll ensure that you're taken care of. You deserve nothing less."

With a small nod, I met his gaze, the weight of our shared history settling between us.

"Thank you, Ishan ji," I murmured softly. "Let's see where this journey takes us."

When he turned to leave, I called him back, "Ishan ji?"

He faced me with a questioning look.

"I wanted to talk about something. About... Aditi Hundia"

Guys that is hella far but still I wanted to ask something... should I write smut in this or leave the innocent girls unharmed? I'll include kissing and foreplay but should I also include the *main part*?
