Being tired by enjoying the amazing party, everyone deeply slept. MoRan had wide smiles on their faces even in sleep as they received so much of love, warmth and blessings from everyone from the academy and the bond really felt as if they have a separate family in the PSAF as well that cares and loves them like no other.

This was Karan and Monami's last day in the academy and Mahajan hospital respectively before their wedding. As their wedding dates are finalized along with the dates of each event, their families have asked them to take their pre-wedding break and come home to which they reluctantly agreed. Monami was in the Mahajan hospital sorting everything and appointing new doctors on her duty while Karan was in the academy, assigning some work to Ustadji and Faizi.

Ustadji - Sirji, aap itni chinta mat kariye, sab ho jayega.

Karan - Aapke rehte koi chinta kaise ho sakti hai ustadji?! Main to bus apni taraf se sab kuchh finish karke jaa raha hoon aur aap dono ko bata raha hoon taki mere peeche se aap dono ko koi dikkat na ho.

Faizi - Aap tension mat lijiye janabji, aap to bus apni shaadi ki taiyaariyon mein lagiye ab!

Karan chuckled at what Faizi said and after an hour of working, he was done and now was in the corridor of the academy where he saw all the cadets along with Sanju.

Karan - Arre, saare namoone ek saath? Mujhse kuchh kaam hai?

Sumanji - Nahi nahi sirji, kuchh kaam nahi hai bus aaj aap jaa rahe ho na isliye Sumanji aur baki sab aapko bye bolne aaye hain!

Bala - Haanji sirji, ab to aap shaadi ke baad hi aaoge na academy wapis, to hum sab bada miss karenge. Lekin aapko aur doctor madam..oh sorry sorry, Bhabhiji ko bahot-bahot constipation!

Everyone laughed out loud at what Bala said leaving him confused. But along with laughter, Karan was much touched at everyone's love and best wishes and just felt warmth spreading in his chest at this unexpected love from his cadets.

As Karan explained, Monami was right now in her cabin in the Mahajan Hospital and was assigning each of her patient and its file to the other appropriate doctors. She knows that she won't be able to look at any patient amidst the chaos of the wedding festivities, so she has aligned her team of doctors in front of her and is explaining them her patients' history thoroughly. The very tensed expression on her face was just making the other doctors chuckle as its the third time she's explaining them the same thing.

Dr. Vivek - Dr. Monami, aap please befikar ho jaiye..hum sabhi patients ko achhe se attend kar lenge.

Dr. Shivi - Yes Dr. Monami, iss time to aapko kisi achhe se salon mein hona chahiye, apna manicure-pedicure karwana chahiye aur aap ho ki bus tension hi le rahi ho. Aap sab kuchh hum par chhod dijiye, we'll take care of everything!

Monami smiled wide at their reassurance and as she handed over everyone some files, she hugged both Dr. Shivi & Dr. Vivek for their support and best wishes. She came out of her cabin and thought to go once to the area that provides her with utmost peace and happiness. The children department of the Mahajan Hospital that has some cute little munchkins whose adorable smiles can brighten up the gloomiest days. As Monami entered their ward, the appointed nurse there got a bit confused. Nurse Mary was a 50-year-old, very kind lady.

Nurse Mary - Dr. Monami, aap to jaa rahe thhe na?

Monami - Haanji sister, Karan aayega..uske saath jaungi.

Nurse Mary - Ohh...humare son-in-law aa rahe hain pick karne? Hmmm!

Monami chuckled a bit at what Nurse Mary said as her ears turned red and warm. She along with Nurse Mary went near the children who were sitting on their respective beds with grumpy expressions, cheeks puffed and hands crossed near their chest.

Monami - Ahm ahm..mere munchkins apni Monu didi se naraaz hain?

None of them answered to what Monami asked and by this, both the ladies got the intensity of those children's anger. Monami tip-toed towards a little girl's bed and took her in her lap and called everyone near her.

Monami - Pleaseee..ek baar sab mere paas aa jao.

Hearing the plea in Monami's voice none of them could resist and all the little ones came rushing to the bed on which Monami was sitting but none of them said anything, hinting that they are still angry.

Monami - Mere babies mujhse naraaz kyu hain?

Riddhi (A 5-year-old) - Monu didi, Mary aunty ne bataya ki aap jaa rahe ho?

Soha (A 4-year-old) - Monu didi..aap kyu jaa rahe ho?

Kriti - Monu didi, we all will be good kids! Hum apni saari medicines time par lenge, injections bhi lenge aur..aur.. Mary aunty ko bhi pareshan nahi karenge. But aap please mat jao!

Monami's eyes welled up at the heart felt request of these little kids. Ever since the children's ward has been built in the Mahajan hospital and Monami has started practicing, she has had a special bond with each and every kid there. She can't afford to make them upset but her hands are also tied.

Before Monami could say anything, A 6-year old girl, named Gayu jumped on the bed where Monami was and supported herself on Monami's shoulder.

Gayu - Offo, tum sab kitne buddhu ho! Monu didi ki shaadi ho rahi hai!

Every kid (in unison) - Shaadi?!

Gayu - Haan Shaadi! Maine Mary aunty se suna. Monu didi ab sundar si bride banengi, makeup karengi, beautiful dress pehnengi aur fir (sadly) apne prince charming ke ghar chali jayengi!

Gayi and everyone's face fell when they got to know that Monami is getting married which means she'll go to her 'prince charming's' house.

A voice - To isme sad hone wali kaunsi baat hai?

A strange voice came and everyone looked towards the door. While the kids were confused, a wide smile crept on Monami's face as her prince charming has arrived.

Soha - Aap kaun?

Karan - Main? Main aapki Monu didi ka prince charming!

The moment the kids realised that he's the one who Monami is going to marry, everyone of them looked at Karan with squinted, anger-filled eyes.

Rohan - To aap humari Monu didi ko humse dur kardoge?

Karan - Arre arre, main aisa kaise kar sakta hoon? Aisa kiya to aapki ye Doctor didi injection laga degi!

Karan's this sweet, love-filled, baby voice was enough to make every kid giggle. Karan stood up and started distributing chocolates which he brought to every kid, making everyone of them squeal in happiness.

Karan - Main aapki Monu didi ko aapse dur kaise kar sakta hoon jab unki jaan aapme basti hai? Monu didi bus kuchh din ke liye hi to jaa rahi hai, then she'll be back with a bang! Ok?

Shree - Hm, ok! But shaadi ke baad Monu didi hum sabse pehle jitna hi pyaar karengi na?

Monami - No no no, bilkul nahi!

Monami's answer made every kid upset and shocked. Looking at their faces, Monami couldn't hold more and burst into laughter. She squatted to the kids' level, along with Karan and took his hand in hers.

Monami - Pehle jitna pyaar nahi hoga kyuki ab hum dono aap sab se pyaar karenge, aap sabka khayal rakhenge aur aap sabko bahot pamper karenge!

A wave of happiness spread in the kids and all of them literally jumped on Karan and Monami and hugged them tight. While all the kids were expressing their love to both Karan and Monami, a little 5-year old kid was still angry and grumpy and remained sitting on his bed with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

Karan saw him and confusingly went to his bed. Though the kid resisted, but Karan knew how to tame him. Karan just picked him up and made him sit on his lap and offered him a chocolate.

Karan - Aap abhi-bhi naraaz ho?

Kartik - Hm! Aap beech mein aa gaye varna Monu didi ka prince charming main hota. Unhone promise kiya tha ki vo mujhse shaadi karengi!

Karan (in mind) - Ah..okay, iss piddi se to main jealous bhi nahi ho sakta. (To him) But abhi to aap thode se chhote ho na, to abhi ke liye mujhe permission hai shaadi karne ki?

Kartik looked towards Karan and scanned him from top to bottom as if examining him whether he's suitable for his Monu didi or not.

Kartik - Hm, main chhota to hoon, so..ok, permission granted! But ek shart par!

Karan (in mind) - Kya din aa gaye hain! Pyaar ke khatir kya-kya karna padh raha hai!

Kartik (loudly) - Aap sun rahe ho?

Karan - Oh haan haan, kya shart?

Kartik - Promise me, aap meri Monu didi ka khayal rakhoge, unhe bahot saara pyaar karoge aur kissie bhi karoge aur unke saath dance bhi karoge! Done?

Karan chuckled at the little man's demand and kept his huge palm on his little baby one. The love which each kid here as for Monami and which she has for each kid is something utterly beautiful to witness. After a huge group hug and lots of heart-filled talks, with tears in her eyes Monami came out of the hospital along with Karan.

As they drove to Mumbai, Karan noticed how Monami's eyes are still welled up and it's something he cannot stand.

Karan (in baby voice) - Monu didi, Monu didi! Aap sab kyu ho? Aapka prince charming bhi aapke paas hai, fir bhi kyu sad ho?

Monami looked at Karan wide-eyed and immediately chuckled at his little attempt to make her smile to which he definitely succeeded. Monami encircled her arm around Karan's and leaned onto his shoulder.

Monami - Tumhe pata hai, pehle sirf hospital or ye bachhe hi meri duniya thhe aur ab..tum bhi iss duniya ka ek bada sa hissa ban gaye ho!

Karan - Aap to meri puri duniya hain Rani Sahiba! Aapke aate hi meri banjar duniya mein naye phool khil gaye hain!

Monami leaned onto Karan's shoulder more and leaned to make his cheek feel her lips on it. Though Karan kept on focusing on the road, but the slight hew on his cheek was enough to tell that intensity of Monami's words and actions. Soon, it started raining on the empty road and the weather turned aptly perfect. Dark clouds, loud rain and no one on the road and just MoRan together in one car.

Karan had encircled his one arm around Monami's shoulder and while her one palm was on his chest, the other one was on the gear, which Karan held time to time to change the gear and sometimes intentionally too. Monami leaned her head on Karan's chest and amidst the silent environment, she was just feeling his lub-dub sounds.

Karan - Itne dhyaan se kya sun rahi ho?

Monami - Kuchh nahi, bus yahi sun rahi hoon ki kaise ye dil 'Monami-Monami' cheekh raha hain!

Karan smiled wide at the fact that this is the only name his heart can ever and will ever beat for and pulled Monami even closer by her shoulder. A sweet peck on her forehead and Karan thought about something.

Karan - Rani Sahiba?

Monami - Hm?!

Karan - Mausam bhi hai bheega-bheega, aap bhi hain kareeb-kareeb, ek cup chai saath ho jaye? Aur bus fir ye dil baag-baag ho jaye!

Monami's eyes widened at this new side of her Khadoos Shergill. From once not understanding Faizi's shayris to now reciting one for her, she truly made the better of him come out. Monami very excitedly agreed, and Karan soon parked the car at the roadside, near a chai ki dukan.

Karan - Chotu, do chai!

From inside the car only, due to the rain, Karan asked the boy there for two cups of chai and waited for them along with Monami. In 2 minutes, the chai was there and as the young boy came to deliver them, Monami also ordered a plate of Maggie for which she received a glare from her fiancé, who's also her trainer.

Monami - What? Chai & Maggie, iconic! Just like us baby!

Karan just rolled his eyes and focused on that hot steaming cup of chai but as he took a sip, his eyebrows scrunched, concerning Monami.

Monami - Kya hua?

Karan - Chai thodi feeki nahi hai?

Monami was confused as hers was perfectly sweet. She took Karan's cup from his hand as she took a sip, she realized that it was perfectly sweetened and fine. Karan just smirked and took his cup back from her and took a sip from the same place of the rim from where she had, and a wide grin spread across his face.

Karan - Hm..tumhare hoothon ko chhu gayi na, ab ek dum meethi hai!

Monami just rolled her eyes at Karan, but both know what impact such flirts of Karan have on Monami. Very soon, the deliciously steaming plate of Maggie arrived but before Monami could dive in, her strict trainer who's always fond of diets and hardly eats any junk, took the first bite of it, making Monami raise her left eyebrow in amusement.

Monami (murmuring to herself) - Abhi to koi bahot ghoor raha tha maggie mangane ke naam par!

Karan just giggled while focusing on the Maggie and Monami too picked up the pace of eating the Maggie as she feared that Karan might finish all by himself. While digging into that delicious plate of Maggie, some masala kept lingering on side of Karan's lip which went unnoticed by him. Getting an idea in her mischievous mind, Monami decided to do what Karan usually does.

Monami dragged the plate away from Karan's sight and when he looked at her in confusion, she immediately kept her lips on his, licking off that masala that became much more flavourful being on his lips. In a few seconds, Monami went back with a smirk while Karan was utterly shocked and confused by Monami's sudden action. Every time it's Karan but this time it was Monami who was enjoying such reaction.

Monami - Maggie pe dhyaan do, Maggie pe!

Monami winked and again dig into the plate of Maggie while Karan exhaled a deep breath and shook his head in disbelief of how unpredictable his Rani Sahiba can be sometimes. Licking off every bit of the delicious Maggie, MoRan thanked the uncle and paid the bill and again drove off.

While Karan was driving and Monami had rested her head on his shoulder, something strikes Monami's mind and she immediately snapped towards Karan.

Monami - Karan, kuchh din baad se humari shaadi ki rasmein shuru ho jaengi...

Karan - Aur uske kuchh din baad, humari shaadi ho jaegi!

Monami - Hehee..hmm but as girlfriend-boyfriend, to hum shayad hi mil payenge na. Tumhe yaad hai humne kabse vo random cute-cute wali pictures nahi li.

Karan looked at Monami and observed the shine that came into Monami's eyes and in no time, Karan had parked the car to the side and turned towards Monami completely. Though he's not much into capturing moments but rather living them but now, his heart finds happiness in something which his Monami loves.

Karan - To abhi le?

Monami nodded her head vigorously and excitedly and Karan immediately pulled out his phone. MoRan shifted a bit closer to each other and clicked a beautiful picture. Then, Monami posed while pecking Karan's cheek and then Karan did the same on her cheek. In the next one, they had captured a beautiful kiss of theirs with their hands entwined. And like this, many-many pictures were clicked capturing some very random but love-filled moments which will definitely be cherished thoroughly one day.

As in another half an hour, Karan stopped the car in front of Monami's house. He came to passenger's side and opened the door for Monami. Monami stepped out and thanked him with a smile and started moving ahead thinking that he'll come. But when she looked back, Karan was stll standing, leaning against his car with his legs entwined and arms crossed in front of his chest.

Monami (surprised) - Karan, chalo andar!

Karan - Na, aaj nahi..ab to tab hi aaunga jab aapko lene baraat lekar aaunga! Till then, bye & I love you!

Monami was utterly surprised and wanted him to come in and meet everyone but as Karan was too determined, he quickly sat in his car and drove off waving at her but not before blowing a flying kiss at Monami. To which in return, she too blew a lovely kiss at him.
