last special chapter until
i am done with the
book.

I promise. I was just on
youtube and i was listening
to a singer named Malinda
she is on tiktok and she
sings exactly like a folklore
siren! its so beautiful and
i thought "her voice is perfect
for Tomomi's singing voice!'

also i thought it would be
funny to have her randomly
singing in the night, making
everyone think that the dorms
were haunted lol

        Denki thought the dorms were haunted. Reason being it had just hit October, the nights were darker than usual and he claims that he has been hearing a ghost singing for the past three days.

   Of course, no one else believed him when he told everyone but he was determined to get evidence or have them witness what he has been hearing.

   It was freaking him out. The singing was both haunting, scary but so beautiful and alluring. Like the voice was luring sailors to their doom. Like those pirate movies he had been watching lately. But he was CERTAIN that it was not in his head.

   So he made most of the class stay in the common room that cold Saturday night to wait for the voice to sing again.

   To say that the class was annoyed was a huge understatement. Most of them were about ready to beat up Denki for either waking them up or forcing them to stay up.

    "I swear to god, Spark Plug, I will shove an entire cabbage down your stupid throat if you don't let me go to bed!" Bakugou growled sleepily as he glared at him.

   He had everyone turn off the lights and use their flashlights for this night. He claimed that it helps set the haunting mood.

   "Trust me on this! I know this dorm is haunted." He replied, shivering. "When I first heard it, it came to me like a siren luring sailors to their doom, in the deep blue sea.....It was beautiful but it scared the hell out of me."

   "Could this be because you're watching Pirates Of the Caribbeans again?" Kirishima asked, in mid yawn. He was fighting his sleep super hard. "You gotta stop watching those movies late night, bro."

   "Isn't Tokoyami's fault for showing him the song?" Mina asked, rubbing her eyes. She rested her head on Uraraka's shoulder.

   "I didn't think he would take it this far." Tokoyami groaned in annoyance. "And that was my first mistake."

   "How much longer do we have to stay here?" Midoriya asked, more like whined like a child. "I have to make the theaters early morning! All Might's new Halloween Special is premiering tomorrow night and Kacchan and I want to be the first in line!"

   "Wait, you two actually go to those things?" Shoto asked curiously.

   "What we do with our free time is our business." Bakugou replied back, frowning. "Which is why I am about three seconds from beating-"

    Suddenly, a soft and serene voice started to slowly sing a haunting melody, making them stop and freeze in fear.

    "What the hell wast that?" Bakugou whispered, fully waking up now.

    Everyone turned to where the sound was coming from. It sounded like it was coming from the staircases that lead to the different floors of their dormitory.

   "W-What's going on?" Kirishima stuttered out as fear settled in.

    Everyone was either on high alert or hugging someone. Mina was shaking while her and Uraraka were hugging each other. Asui hid behind Shoto, hugging his waist. Momo suddenly held onto Shoto's left arm.

    Shoto, himself, was too busy being slightly freaked out by the siren like voice to care that two girls were hanging onto him.

   Kirishima, Akira, Bakugou, and Tokoyami were the only ones who were more on alert that there could either be a ghost in the dorm or a intruder with a hypnosis quirk to really be all that scared.

   Jirou, Iida and Midoriya were frozen in fear, the color from their faces were nearly gone at this point.

   Denki, Sero and Mineta hugged each other for dear life. And Sato and Oijiro were a bit stiffened by the sudden voice but more so on high alert. Kouda and Shoji weren't  with them because they were visiting family that weekend.

   "I told you," Denki whispered shakingly. "I told you all that this place is haunted!"

   "W-W-What are we gonna do?!" Uraraka stuttered out.

   "Should we call Mr.Aizawa and Mr. Mic?" Mina whispered, hugging her friend harder.

   "Like they will actually believe a ghost is in the dorms, stupid!" Bakugou replied, nearly rolling his eyes. "For all we know, it could be a intruder with a hypnosis quirk!"

   "A siren like quirk?" Midoriya shakingly asked. "T-T-That's b-both scary and dangerous!"

    "Only one way to find out." Tokoyami concluded. "We gotta check it out ourselves."

    "YOU check it out yourself!" Kirishima whispered harshly to him. "We are NOT people in horror movies! That is the first thing that will get us killed!"

   "What do you suggest we do?" Akira argued, remaining calm. "Because Mr.Aizawa is going to question why his entire class is in the common room at midnight and we can't tell him anything without evidence."

   "Anything but that dumbass suggestion!"

  "He's right, Kirishima." Shoto said calmly. "What else can we do? We have to see it for ourselves."

   "I-I-I think we should just go to bed and pretend we didn't hear anything." Sero said, shaking at this point. "Yeah, who needs to piss off a singing spirit, anyways?"

   "Bunch of babies, all of you." Bakugou rolled his eyes as he grabbed one of the flashlights. "I'll check it out. Anyone who is too chicken shit to follow me, stay here."

    He stood up and began walking to the staircases. Not caring if any of them actually followed him.

   "I'm not staying here to get killed." Mina said, quickly following him.

   "Don't leave me here!" Uraraka pleaded, running after her.

   "Right behind you!" Momo also followed them.

   "W-Wait!" Midoriya ran behind her. Soon, everyone began to follow Bakugou quickly. Not wanting ot stay behind in the dark.

     "Get off my fucking back, Spark Plug!"

    "Bro, you're the safest place right now!"

    "Who's touching my hair?"

    "Sorry, Todo-bro. It's a comforting mechanism for me. It's very soft, by the way."

    "Thank you."

    "The singing is getting louder!"

    "Mineta, if you try to touch my butt one more time!"

     "Ay dios mio! Please have mercy on my soul!"

     "Shut up!"

    Once they made it to the door leading to the stairway, Bakugou slowly opened the door. Everyone hung on top each other as he pushed the metal door open even more.

   Since they were at the bottom of the stairs, they didn't see anything. It was all covered in darkness except for the one flashlight Bakugou had. But the singing was as clear as day now.

    The voice was so enchanting, haunting and it sounded like a siren. Just like how Denki described it. Like it belonged in a medival movie or a pirates movie. Like folklore but in real life. It was very hypnotizing and scary.

    The echos also made it scarier.

   'Heave ho, thieves and beggars
    never shall we die...'

    She repeated the song and melody again as they slowly traveled up the stairs.

     Now was the time Bakugou began to feel nerves crawl through his veins as the group slowly climbed the stairs.

    "It's like a lost soul is looking for her love." Jirou whispered, completely in awe of the siren's voice.

    Once they climbed the first flight of stairs, they notice a warm like appearing. Shining through the second flight of stairs. Like a candle light. Which made them even more scared.

    'yo ho...all together

    Once they got to the second flight of stairs, Bakugou turned off the flashlight as they turned the corner. Only to be met with a familiar being.

    Sitting at the top of the stairs was Tomomi Todoroki. She was dressed in a long sleeved, white gown that was floor length. Her hair was all around her in waves and she had some old looking candle holder with three candles lit, making a rather haunting scene.

   Her eyes were closed and her hands were pressed together as she continue to sing slowly and beautifully.

    'yo ho...all together

    heave ho, thieves and beggars
    never shall we diiieee~'

    "There's your ghost, Denki." Tokoyami spoke in regular tempo, seeing as it was just his friend the entire time.

   His voice made Tomomi stop and open her eyes. She saw the entirety of her classmates and her brother at the bottom of the stairs, staring at her as if they were hypnotized by her.

   She blinked a few times before speaking. "My apologies...Did I wake you up?"

   She said it so casually, nearly everyone almost fell to the floor with how nonchalant she was being. She scared the living hell out of all of them! They all thought that she was a spirit or something! And here she was, acting so casual!

   As if she didn't almost make all of them sit their pants!

   "FROSTBITE, WHAT THE HELL?!" Bakugou angrily yelled at her. "YOU'RE THE REASON WHY THIS IDIOT MADE US WAKE UP LATE NIGHT?!"

   "I'm surprised that you would even listen to him." She deadpanned, being a complete smart-ass to him.

   "You never told us you could sing!" Jirou said, her eyes glittered in awe and admiration. "You sound so beautiful~!"

   She smiled at her softly at her. "Thank you, Jirou-chan." She thanked kindly. "I used to love singing when I was younger but I hadn't done it in a while. I was only here to see if I still could sing. Denki kept watching Pirates of the Caribbean so the song was stuck in my head."

   Everyone slowly turned to Denki, giving him a glare while he chuckled nervously at them.

     "A-At least it's not a villain or a ghost?" He chuckled out sheepishly.

   "There's a lot to hate about you, Denki." Kirishima grumbled.

   "Well since we solved the mystery, would you mind singing for us, Miss Todoroki?" Iida asked, which was kind of shocking to hear.

   She expected him to tell them all to go to bed. But the looks on his and everyone else's faces showed that they wanted to hear her sing even more.

   "Please?" Midoriya pleaded, the puppy dog eyes were in full effect and everything.

   Soon everyone began asking and pleading for her to sing them a song. Claiming that it would put them to sleep.

   With a small and warm smile on her face, she agreed to it. Much to their excitement.

   Everyone went back into the common room and sat around the coffee table. Tomomi placed the golden candle holder in the middle of the table to set the atmosphere.

   Bakugou and Shoto took the space beside Tomomi while the others either sat on the same couch as them or took up space on the other couch, across from them.

   Once everyone was comfortable and situated, she began to sing again.

   'upon one summer morning,
    i carefully did stray
    down by the walls of wapping
    where i met a sailor gay
    conversing with a bouncing lass
    who seemed to be in pain

    i fear you will ne'er rerurn again

    The seducing and soothing sounds of her voice started to put everyone to sleep as she began humming the melody.

   She was so lost in her own world that she didn't even noticed how everyone was slowly falling asleep.

   'My heart is pierced by cupid
   i disdain all glittering gold
   there is nothing can console me
   but my jolly sailor boolllddd~'

    Once the song was done, she opened her eyes again and noticed how everyone was asleep. Bakugou's head rested on her left shoulder while Shoto's head rested right on her lap.

   While that was happening, Shoto was unconciously cuddling Momo, who was rested right on top of him.

   Midoriya's head was on Bakugou's lap as he cuddled a pillow. Uraraka, Asui and Mina were in a cuddle pile on the other couch with Denki, Sero and Iida. Sato and Oijirou took the space near Tomomi's legs on the floor, leaning on each other shoulder to shoulder.

   Mineta snored softly on the atoment. Lastly, Tokoyami, Akira and Jirou leaned on each other right next to Denki's dangling leg on the floor.

    Tomomi giggled quietly as she decided to just get comfortable and fall asleep there.

   She lifted one of her hands up and sent a little gust of cool air to blow out the candles.

   She smiled down at her brother and at everyone else before falling asleep, herself.

  
I know I said one
but while writing this,
I had a funny idea for
another short chapter
so that will be the very
last one.
