"Hey Y/N," the gruffy voice of Aizawa came from behind her.

"Holy shit-" the said girl cursed, turning around to see Aizawa leisurely leaning against the school gate. Other students passed by her as she stood there for a few moments in shock before shifting her head away, her cheeks heating just slightly.

"Hey Shota," she mumbled.

Aizawa noticed the gloominess lingering around her, raising a curious eyebrow, while the other one furrowed in concern.

"Something wrong?"

She pursed her lips into a frown before looking up at him smiling. "Nope!"

He frowned, knowing she was lying, but continued to ignore. It was most likely a small and trivial problem that didn't involve him.

"So, did you want to see me? I mean, otherwise, you wouldn't be a total stalker if you know what I mean!"

Aizawa became lost at words as he searched for a clear answer, stuttering all sorts of nonsense. Y/N giggled at his flustering state, and he started to feel warm again.

Stalker? Him? Did she find him creepy, uncomfortable, annoying?

He would love to hear that over and over again on a loop, and drift to sleep listening to it. But that would just confirm that he is a creepy love-sick physco.

"I-I-I, mean, I-I'm not trying to s-stalk you, but-" he stopped, when she playfully nudged his side.

"It's cute to see this new side of you," she complimented.

Cute? Does she find him cute? How could she find him cute? Shota's cheeks started reddening again, before replying with a brief thanks.

"Do you have time after school?" he asked, hopefully she would say yes. Hizashi would yell at him nonstop.

"Yeah, I guess so. Homework can wait anyways! Why, are you taking me on a date~?" she cooed, poking him in the arm teasingly.

"No, no, no! It's not a date! Err, Hizashi and I wanted you to meet someone, and we were all gonna meet at a cafe after school," he answered, his cheeks becoming hotter before as he took a deep breath in to look sincere.

"Is he a friend?" Y/N gasped, amusement sparking in her eyes as her mouth opened in dramatic surprise.

"Yeah, I guess so."

"YOU HAVE FRIENDS?!"the h/c girl yelled out loud, laughing immediately after, curling in response to how hard it was to contain her noises. Her face began to redden from the amount of effort from just trying to breathe, as her laughs soon chimed down to wheezes.

Meanwhile, Aizawa rolled his eyes, and hit her in the shoulder, a little annoyed but still smiling at the joke. He would be lying if he said it was expected of him to make friends. "If I didn't have friends, what would you be then? What about Hizashi?"

"Boyfriend and girlfriend of course~!"

"I think I'm gonna throw up. I can't imagine that." he groaned, feeling sick in the stomach as he thought of that, making him want to lean over a toilet and vomit out his guts.

"But I could imagine you sucking his di-"

"If I kiss you, will you shut up?"he suddenly asked, this time, was Y/N's turn to become too flustered to answer.

"Oh, you actually did shut up. C'mon, we don't have all day," Aizawa replied, taking her hand gently as they walked out of the school campus. Y/N grumbled, the reason being because she thought he was going to, but he didn't. That twit. She pursed her lips in a tight line, her fists clenching at how she got baited so easily. Did he know and was he using that knowledge to his advantage? Why would he though? Wasn't she subtle enough? How could he tell? She never told anyone...

"I'm sorry if you're mad about that by the way," he replied after minutes of awkward silence between them. "Or... uncomfortable, I mean."

"Oh no, it's okay, I guess."

Y/N was sure that Aizawa was just playing with her; it's what they did best with each other. But they both genuinely care for another, they always had one another backs. Still, Y/N couldn't help but have this discomfort and cloud of doubts starting to plague her mind. Her stomach rumbled out of discomfort. As much as she, dare she say it, liked him, she wasn't sure if that was just him using her feelings against her. She felt denied and rejected, unworthy and unwanted, but she decided to push away those feelings.

As observant as Aizawa was, when it came to human emotions, he was dense.

Aizawa nodded in acknowledgement of her answer, before staring at the sidewalk, still holding her hand as he guided them to the cafe.

Only one of the two noticed.

Y/N instantly felt herself become flustered as she noticed how close they were, hand-in-hand, almost a guaranteed sign as a couple. She felt this as assurance that she definitely wasn't being toyed with him, cheering her up with the thought of still being wanted, and her cheerfulness began to bubble to the surface again.

"Are you still mad at me," Y/N questioned, deciding to poke some fun at her friend.

"No," he bluntly replied, but it was obvious that he wasn't truthful about that.

"Yes you are," Y/N chuckled, nudging his shoulder once again.

"A little," he finally admitted, grinning internally at the silliness of that.

"You big baby! Who knew you're just a really sensitive and precious child!"

Y/N had many complex emotions towards the teenager. She wasn't sure of why, but there was one reason she knew. Just spending time with him made her forget all of her troubling emotions. It made her heart flutter and dance to a happy tune of a song, and it made her all warm and comfortable on the inside.

His eyes twitched in disgust as he was being referred to as 'sensitive' and 'precious,' and 'baby' and 'child' all in one sentence.

As much as he enjoyed Y/N's presence, sometimes, her teasing could be a little pestilent.

"You are impossible," he simply stated, continuing to walk further.

"Aww it's okay you, you big baby, come here, give me a hug!" she said as she stretched out her arms.

"I'll pass."

"Aww, I'm hurt. That's swo mwean of you Swota!" she pouted childishly, crossing her arms against her chance to imitate sadness.

"What am I going to do with you," he mumbled to himself before turning around, and awkwardly, wrapping his arms around Y/N, pulling him to his chest.

"S-shota!" she yelled, her body instantly heating up. "Shota, you can't just do that!"

"Yes, I can. You asked for it, didn't you?" He answered, looking down at the mop of hair, smirking mischievously.

"Not like this!" she said as they pulled away. "But... err... thanks, Shota," smiling gently at the male.

His heart swelled at the sight, singing happy love songs that he would usually ignore when Hizashi would blast music from his phone, but this time he couldn't help it. Was this Y/N's doing? Damn her.

"You know, we can't keep them waiting."

"Oh yeah! Lead me the way!"

Once they had arrived, they were greeted by the loud cries of a familiar blonde friend. "Glad you could make it, Shota, Y/N!"

Y/N noticed another boy next to Hizashi. His hair was almost like a blue flame, it took the shape and color of it. He seemed to have a loud and bubbly personality, but not as obnoxious as Hizashi. A smile was adorned on his face as his apparels matched the same ones as all of the rest of theirs; the UA school uniform.

"Is that who you wanted me to meet?" Y/N whispered to Shota as they took a seat at the table, sitting across from one another.

"Yeah, his name is Oboro Shirakumo. He's a new friend and he's been hanging out with us lately in school," Aizawa replied, gesturing to the said figure, walking towards Y/N.

"Hey! You must be Shota's girlfriend! I'm Oboro! You in the UA, too? I don't see you in the Hero Course! Nice to meet you!" he replied, grinning with his eyes closed as he letted out a hand, taking a seat next to her.

Taking his hand and shaking it politely, she smiled. "Nice to meet you too, wait- SHOTA'S GIRLFRIEND?! WHERE'D YOU GET THAT?!"

Hizashi bursted out laughing, clutching his stomach as his laugh boomed through the small cafe.

"Pipe it down! And Hizashi, what. The. Fuck," he grumbled, punching him hard in the shoulder, coaxing an 'ow' from him.

"This is why I don't have friends," the ravenette muttered under his breath, but Y/N heard it.

"Awww, don't be like that, Shota! What did I say about being a baby?"

"Shut up."

"C'mon Sho Sho! Don't be so rude! Stop trying to act cool in front of them, weren't you just giving me a hug outside 5 minutes ago?" she teased.

"Wait, Shota gives hugs? Why didn't I know this before? Shota, give your guy a hug!" Hizashi complained lightheartedly, throwing his arms on him.

"Fuck no, get the fuck off of me, you human Cockatoo."

"You got Shota to hug you? You must be a god, Y/N," Oboro replied.

"Nope, this guy is just a big softie! See, look at him, all gushy and blushy."

"He's only gushy and blushy for you, I can already see that, and I've just met you."

"Yup! He loves me so. He just never admits it!" she giggled again.

Even through all the chaos, Aizawa was smiling slightly.

Only Y/N could make him like this. No one else could make his heart beat in the same way.

"Shota!"

"Shota!"

"SHOTA!"

"What?" the Erasure hero grumbled, slapping the blonde's hands away from him.

"Took you awhile to wake up. What were you even dreaming about, Sho?" Hizashi questioned with another playful smile plastered on his face.

"Nothing, now, to what do I owe you the pleasure for waking me up?"

"Just wanted to ask you if you could help me with the commentary for the sports festival."

Aizawa grumbled. "Seriously? You woke me up for that? Get someone else."

"Noooo, please, Shota! You're my best friend, c'mon man, it'll be fun!"

"'Hang out with your best friend,' they said. 'It'll be fun,' they said." Aizawa joked sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee," he pleaded desperately, going down on his knees. "Please, I'll buy you takeout for the whole week from your favorite restaurant."

"Fine."

A/N: Literally one of my most favorite chapters I've written. Shota is such a precious bean.
